KIFF NITE on 31st May 2007 to be a mega Event in Indian Football History

Kuwait Indian Football Federation (KIFF), the only Indian organization with an affiliation of 16 Indian Clubs and Associations will organize the grand ‘KIFF NITE’ for the very first time since its inception in 1984.
The highlights of this gala event -- sponsored by Metro Express Courier & Cargo and co-sponsored by Sports Corner Company -- will be a glamorous awards distribution ceremony with live music by two of Kuwait’s leading bands -- Deep Impact and Soul Shakers.
Master Compere Dunstan D’Costa from Goa will further elevate the evening with floor contests including a ‘Waltz Competition’ for the very first time in Kuwait. Speaking about the event, KIFF President Mr. Blandino M. Viegas said, "The KIFF Nite is being organized to bring all sports loving Indians together in unity and to promote Indian Football."
Football activities in Kuwait were started by expatriate community way back in 1975. As years went by, these activities gained momentum and slowly flourished and the sport became very popular. In 1979 a few Goan sports enthusiasts formed the United Goans Football Centre in Kuwait and the first Indian tournament known as United Goans Football Rolling Trophy was held in 1979.
The Kuwait Indian Football Federation (K.I.F.F.) was established in 1983 and it controls all Expatriates Indians Football activities in Kuwait. In the current season (2006-07), there are 16 registered teams under KIFF with over 300 active players. Apart from the League, Four(4) Regular; Five(5) 7-aside and One(1) 9-aside Non-Regular Tournaments are organized by clubs affiliated to KIFF.
The sixteen clubs affiliated to Kuwait Indian Football Federation and involved in organizing the KIFF NITE are: United Goans Centre, G.O.A Maroons, Navelim Youth Centre, C.R.C Chinchinim, Santos Football Club, Bombay Boys Sports Club, Curtorcares United, United Friends Club, Veterans XI, A.V.C Overseas Association, Kerala Challengers, Fahaheel Brothers, Paradiso Football Club, Don Bosco Oratory, DHL, and Kuwait Goan Association.
The KIFF NITE is also supported by Indian Referees Football Association (IFRA).

This is in reply to what JoeGoa-UK wrote in Kranti yesterday

I have no objection Fr. Conceicao or any religious guru or padri using his domain for advising people what to do and what not to do for the election. But surely I will show my objection not only to Fr. Conceicao but for that matter to any priest giving wrong advices to the faithfuls by making use of his position as a priest. It was reported in the press that Fr. Conceicao urged the catholics to vote Congress Party because it is a secular party. My foot, Fr. Conceicao. Congress party is the most communal party practicing all the communal tactics in a desguise manner. Is PrataphSingh Rane a secular? Can he be a secular when he was born and brought up in the MGP lap? He is the most corrupt CM who has done more harm for the otherwise secular ethos of Goa.
Congress culture is so dirty that they are exploiting the poor masses to the maximum. The biggest sex maniacs are in the Congress party. They are promoting vulgarity and immorality which is against the doctrine of Christianity. Can Fr. Conceicao support such a party? Can Church as a whole support such a party? In Goa under Congress Government jobs.

Goa Election and Fr. Concecao

Fr. Conceisao should be disciplined by the Church for not obeying its directives.Election Officers should also book him for violating election code of conduct by 'Mixing the Mass', church, Altar, preaching, etc, with politicsI know for sure, there is a sizable number of voters switched sides because of Fr. VOTING IS A SACRED DUTY.

VOTING IS A SACRED DUTY.

RIGHT TO VOTE IS A SACRED DUTY which one must perform without fail. If you fail to vote then you are failing in your duty and then you are allowing somebody who is not your choice to come and rule over you during the next five years. And when he rules the way he wants like a dictator, you curse him when you have no right to curse him because you have failed in performing in your duty. Rights and duties go together, they are like two side of the same coin. One cannot be detached from the other, both are attached to each other. Hence, it is imperative that all our people in Goa especially those who love clean Government, upright MLAs, real lovers of Goa and Romi Konkani must vote this time without fail. The importance of voting was nicely described in his article written by the well – known Goan journalist Valmiki Faleiro in Herald dated 27th of this month.

Sonia Gandhi came and addressed meetings in Goa, exhorted Goans to vote for the Congress Party back to power in order to give stable and strong Government. Yes, strong and stable Government. For what? To degoanise Goa by doling out free land to non-Goans in the name of Housing Board colonies? To vote Congress Party to permit Congress MLAS and Ministers to loot Goa? To allow the Congress MLAs and Ministers to put Government jobs on sale like “Bangdde”? Sonia Gandhi is a dictator. She was the member of the Indira Gandhi family when dictatorial Emergency rule was introduced by her mother in law whence Sonia Gandhi was silently accepting everything worst in India. All the Congressmen in Goa are dictators worst than Salazar because they don’t care for the sentiments of the public. Most of the public agitations in Goa occurred during the rule of Congress Party especially under the Chief Ministership of Prataph Rane.

About 18 months back I was in Panjim taking part in the agitation against Town and Country Planning Bill by Babush Monsurate. We were shouting slogans near the Customs House. Suddenly Goa’s Chief Minister Rane in his car passed by us but never even bothered to look at us why we are gathered there. He was busy on his mobile talking as if he was talking to Manmohan Singh. Now, let me ask this: Is it right for a leader of Goa to just pass by us ignoring us like that? What sort of this leader is who does not take care for his people? Somewhere in 1959 due to some problems, some Taxi drivers gathered together and went in a rally, shouting slogans, to the Palace of the then Portuguese Governador. From distance Governador saw them coming in a morcha and shouting slogans. Immediately Governador sent his secretary to meet the taxi drivers and asked one representative of theirs to meet him. The representative came, met with Governador and Governador in turn assured him all the help to redress their grievances with a word of advice: “Next time if you have any problem, do not come on to the streets in a show of demonstration. I will solve your problems peacefully and nicely. I am sent from Portugal to Goa to solve your problems and not to see you coming on to the streets in a manner not befitting Goan culture and moreover I don’t want to debase your decent Goan culture by provoking you to come on to the street”. Compare this attitude of Portuguese Governador with that of Rane. Who is better? Who took more care of the needs of Goans? Portuguese or Congressmen from Goa and India?

Will Congress support Romi Konkani and bring it on par with Nagri Konkani? Never. Even the recognition for Konkani earlier given during the time of Congress rule was not a “bakxis” by the Congress but it was a hard fought battle with the Congress Government by the Konknnivadis mainly the Romivadis. In this bloody battle so many precious martyrs sacrificed their Konkani blood. Congress Party has not done a favour on us by granting official status to Konkani. We fought for it and snatched from the Congress party.

Congress party is the party of “Chors”, “Bamttes” and rapists who are plundering Goa. They neither have love for Konkani nor for Romi Konkani. Up to now they have not spoken a single word in support of Romi Konkani. Loutolim Congress candidate Aleixo Sequeira when questioned said nothing on Romi Konkani. Luizin and Sardinha are still dumb. Mauwin is not making any positive statement, he is making all efforts to get elected and then he will show his “Konko” to Romi Konkani. A master crook, he knows how to play his game in a purely Congress style. Mickey Pacheco in Benaulim and Babush Monsurate in Taleigao are not speaking their minds on the issue of Romi Konkani. Margareth Alva is totally keeping her mouth shut.

Romi Konkani Front and other activitsts must immediately meet her and ask her opinion and accordingly give a call to the Romi Konkani voters. No delay should be done to implement our plans. Romi Konkani activists looks very silent. What is wrong with them? Other Congressmen are equally dumb. What they deserve now from the supporters of Romi Konkani especially from Salcette? Nothing but a Royal Kick. Tiatrists Wilmix the convenor of Romi front and his colleagues must start now a “zuz”. If the tiatrists are really supporters of Romi Konkani then they will not become the purchasable commodities from the hands of Ministers, MLA’s and Candidates belonging to Congress, BJP, MGP and all others who are not supporting Romi Konkani issue. I see some of the politicians especially from Congress Party sponsoring Tiatro advertisements. Is it to gain cheap publicity at the cost of Tiatros and Tiatrists which is a prt of Romi Konkani?

MEETING IN KUWAIT ON GOA ELECTION

GOA ELECTION MEETING IN KUWAIT.

Kuwait Goans are always on forefront amongst all the expatriate Goans to show their concern for Goa and the events taking place in Goa. In view of this and as usual, maintaining their tradition, in Kuwait city on Friday 25th of this month, A. Veronica Fernandes convened a meeting of like minded Goans who are equally concerned of the forthcoming election in Goa on 2nd June 2007. It was a very good discussion held and some of the speakers spoke openly and boldly so also loudly on the candidates and their parties and their demands. Tiatrist Rosary Ferns in his speech said Tiatrists in Goa can do a lot to force the candidates to promise to get the Romi Konkani Bill passed but do our Tiatrists have a genuine will to do so? I doubt, he said, because on the eve of the poll candidates will pour money and make some of the otherwise vocal Tiatrists dumb. He further said some of the Tiatrists are become purchasable commodities. Their love for Roman Script Konkani is very shallow. Otherwise, they must all join together and in one voice they must ask their candidates in every constituency that they will support Romi Konkani. Further Rosary said, Mickey Pacheco should be asked by the voters from Colva and other villages of Benaulim constituency that Pacheco should remain faithful to his party, give top priority for Romi Konkani issue and work for the upliftment of Goan causes. Rosary also said that of course dejectingly that Konkani issue is not important for the MLAs and candidates because it does not fetch them any remuneration. It is only a good slogan as an election gimmick. Then he added, our Romi Konkani issue will remain unresolved like Kashmir issue between India and Pakistan because Congress Party and its candidates and MLAs and Ministers are not faithful to it. We so much relied on Congress but it does not support our issue of Romi Konkani.

Luis Cardoso in his normally witty argument said that why priest don’t contest election instead of openly supporting this candidate and that candidate? The Church of Goa is not under one principle because of this unprincipled stand of the Church, one priest is supporting Luizin Faleiro by blessing his campaign openly while in the same constituency another priest giving his blessing for Churchill Alemao of Save Goa Front. Fr. Conceicao is saying support Congress because it is the only secular party while the other priest from the same Goa Church saying support Save Goa Front because it is a party of upright Goans. Then which priest is giving the right guidance to the faithfuls? Which priest is giving instructions to the faithfuls as per the policy of the Church and by the way what is the policy of Goa Church? Is Patriarch sleeping at Altino?

Supporting Luis stand, Elvino Rodrigues argued that recently in Philippines one T - Shirt priest contested election and got elected. Why our priests cannot do the same instead of openly supporting their favourite candidates sometimes for their own selfish benefits? Some years back 5 priests were the members of the Ministry formed in one the Countries in South America and they had the approval of the Vatican to do this. Further Elvino argued that the work done by the current MLAs and Ministers is of minor importance and whatever they did it was not a favour on the people. They are elected to do this job only and not to bark like dogs saying “I did this road, that electrical jobs etc”. He further said Dayananda Narvenkars projects such as IT Park will never fetch jobs for Goans. As in other cases, the jobs there will go for non-Goans only for a price. Aldona constituency voters should be very careful of Narvenkar and if possible now only they must get an undertaking from Narvenkar that he would not proceed further on his pet projects against the wishes of the local Goans otherwise, voters there should reject him and priests from Aldona Constituency Churches must awaken the people there against the menace of Narvenkar’s projects including the Cricket Stadium which is not favoured by the locals. Elvino also said with regards to Romi Konkani that priests must openly campaign for this cause because the proceedings oral and written conducted in the Church are organized in Roman script Konkani only otherwise "Novo Korar" and other liturgical works of the Church in Roman script “ghal Igorjechea Dobean”.

Manuel Goes and Alex de Consua said in no way Mathanay Saldanha should be voted back to power in Cortalim because he is a traitor and revengeful man. In order to take his revenge against Congress, Mathanay Saldanha supported communal and anti-Christian BJP when he was elected on anti-BJP platform. They also said Mauwin is a number of cunning and anti-Goan because of this anti-Goan attitude of his he naturalized all the Ghanttis at Birlanagar and created a vote Bank for him. Raymond D’Sa may be an ideal candidate and electing a new man like Raymond D’Sa may help. Helping a non-Goan to get elected in Cortalim as Sarpanch by Mauwin Godinho was condemned by all.

Everybody agreed that to create a vote Bank for certain candidates, especial Housing colonies are created in many places in Goa. But on whose plots? On Government plots where non-Goans are given priorities. Are these MLA’s and Montris fit to serve Goans? It was in one voice everybody agreed that we should not vote for BJP because they are communal, anti-Christian, anti-Konkani like MGP and anti-Romi Konkani. Though BJP men are not as “Chors” and as “Bamtte” as Congressmen are.

Everybody agreed that Churchill Alemao is much better than Luizin Faleiro and all the Navelimkar attending the meet agreed to advise their nearest and dearest back home to vote for Churchill Alemao because he declared his support for Romi-Konkani while Luizin Faleiro like a cunning fox and a political crook is keeping his total silence on this issue. One thing Navelkars must agree that Churchill must not defect to any other party because in the coming election no single party will get majority. The result of election will be “Torre de Babel”. It was unanimously agreed by all the attendees to tell their family members back home in Goa not to vote for Congress party back to power because including the number one fraud Margareth Alva, most of the Congressmen are Chor and anti-Romi Konkani.

It was also agreed by all to request the Taleigao voters to get a firm undertaking from Babush Monsurate that he will support Romi-Konkani, he will not any more indulge in Town and Country Planning bill nor in Regional Plan for Goa neither he will defect to any other party. All the speakers in one voice loudly said “Not To Vote for UGDP” which is a big joke because they are selling their MLAs like “Bangdde”. UGDP has no control over its MLAs. The whole tamasha of election in Goa is made by UGDP. It was also agreed that if Congress gets a chance to form Ministry, in no way Rane should be made Chief Minister again because he lost his brain cells. Rane is a traitor for this reason thru chickanery he is inducting his son into Assembly thru side door. And while Rane is playing his tricks to get his son into the Assembly making the whole Congress a “chutiya”, Volkott Margareth Alva is silently watching the whole tamasha, of course nodding her shameless head to Rane. Alva finally will tear Congress in Goa into pieces and disappear into oblivion. She was rejected in Mangalore by Mangaloreans. We in Goa get only the rejected “Kolgim” to suck Goa.

While concluding the meet, everyone wished Goans in Goa all the best to elect all the best candidates.

OPEN LETTER TO TIATRISTS.

OPEN LETTER TO TIATRISTS.

Hello Tiatrists,

History salutes you because many of the yesteryears Tiatrists have done wonderful job in our Goan society. Since the inception of Tiatro over a hundred years back, Tiatro and Tiatrists played a leading role in our society to change the thinking and acting of society for the betterment of Goans. If Goan society has made such a vast development it is partly if not mainly due to the tremendous efforts made by the Tiatrists to change our society from bad to good in different fields. The “dadagiri” of “Bamonshahi” and “Bhattkarshahi” was shattered by the Tiatrists. One example: Alexinho de Candolim in one of his Tiatros “Amchea Xetachi Panvddi” in one of the statements said referring to Bamon Bhattkar: “Adim Ami Tumkam Mhonttalet Bab Pun Atam Tumkam Ami Mhonttat Dukor”.Through such inflammatory statement Alexinho de Candolim inculcates a sense of fearlessness into the minds and hearts of ordinary Mundkars because during those days Bhattkar means worst than a Hitler or a “Devchar”.

Minguel Rod for example destroyed the curses of Dowry and Caste System and its implications on our society. Being himself a victim of Caste system due to which he was denied the privilege of getting married to a beautiful and nice girl from Saipem – Candolim who was a very good friend of my mother, Minguel Rod composed and rendered many songs against the promotion of Caste system and also he wrote many Tiatros which depicted the curse of Caste system in our society. The early Tiatrists especially those who acted in Tiatros before the liberation of Goa worked extremely well in support of egalitarian society in Goa and eradication of caste system.

The Tiatrists of post liberation Goa educated the Goan society of the political defects in our political system and how Bharati Raj has spoiled the beauty, peace and serenity of Goa. Tiatrists from the stage disclosed how due to the introduction of Bharati Raj in Goa corruption has penetrated in each and every segment of our society. Because of the heavy campaign from the stage in support of Goa for Goans and Konkani for Goa and not Marathi, Tiatrists from 1962 helped save Goa from the clutches of Maharastra and Marathi. For any issue of public interest for the benefit of Goan and Konkani causes, Tiatrists always rose to the occasion and helped Goa in right direction. Though every Tiatrists was not a party to this campaign but overwhelming majority were and are.

Now it is a turn of Tiatrists once again to change their style of campaign for the cause of Goa and Konkani not from the stage but beyond the stage. Tiatrists are celebrities and they have mass following. Taking advantage of this, they must now go to every meeting, either in groups or individually, of the election where local candidates of any political party is to address the meeting. During the meeting they must first pose this question to the candidate: “WILL YOU SUPPORT THE CAUSE OF ROMI KONKANI ONCE YOU ARE ELECTED OR NOT? IF THE ANSWER IS NO, then tell the candidate then and there that WE WILL NOT VOTE FOR YOU. Let us see how strong the candidate is to say NO. We don’t want to listen from the candidate simple “Xemaicheo Kannio” that “yes, I will see to this topic after I am elected”. Don’t listen to this lie. After the election they will not even bother to look at our faces because they are “ROSTAD” POLITICIANS and these Rostad politicians will rule Goa during the next five years and convert Goa into a ROSTAD place.

The above questions should be posed more strongly and more openly to Luizin Faleiro who during the last full tenure never did anything for the cause of Romi Konkani. They are fit only to talk and make money for their personal benefits. This pertinent question also should be posed forcefully to Mickey Pacheco by the Benaulim Tiatrists. Benaulim has the unique distinction of producing more Tiatrists in Goa. They are all supporters and promoters of Romi Konkani. It is now their turn to get a firm assurance from Mickey Pacheco that he will definitely work for the cause of the elevation of Romi Konkani on par with Nagri script once he is elected. In the same manner Sardinha should be attacked because he is become hardened politician now like Luizin Faleiro. In Cortalim F.X. Pereira and other prominent Tiatrists should pose this same question to Mauwin Godinho and get his assurance that he will support the cause of Romi Konkani once he is elected. Similarly this question should go to Mathanay Saldanha and Raymond D'Sa who are also aspiring for the seat in Cortalim. F. X. Pereira is a great Tiatrists and in this capacity he has helped a lot for the Konkani cause from Kuwait during his so many years of work in Kuwait. I have tasted his taste and love for Konkani. I hope he will play a dominant role in Cortalim in this direction.

Come on Goan Tiatrists, wake up now because this is the only opportunity for you to get your and our demands fulfilled. Don’t be the victim of bribes and lollipops if your candidates dole you to silence your mouths. This is the last chance for us to make our wish for Romi Konkani fulfilled.

Oh Romi Konkani promoters in Goa, you have your organization and Tomazinho Cardoso and Cyriaco Dias both the residents of Calangute constituency must be told strongly to get similar assurance from all the candidates contesting the election from Calangute constituency. Can Tomazinho Cardoso take up this challenge and question the Calangute candidates on this topic? Or Tomazinho Cardoso feel backward because his own contribution as a MLA and Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly is Nil on this topic? Romi Konkani.lovers and promoters and supporters must take this as the only opportunity to get our demands fulfilled. Otherwise there is no point in having meetings for the cause of Romi Konkani at TB Cunha Hall in Panjim and promote Tomazinho Cardoso as a hero of Romi Konkani. Otherwise it is no use for Tiatrists to shout from the stage and at right time that is now, do nothing.

Veronica Fernandes,

SUPPORT FOR ROMI KONKANI.

SUPPORT FOR ROMI KONKANI.

CONGRESS has released its election manifesto, so also BJP. In Congress manifesto there was no mention of any help for the official recognition of Romi Konkani. Neither in BJP manifesto there is any sop for Romi Konkani. Moreover, BJP has not mentioned anything about their decision that they will not harass Christians in Goa. Hence, it is to be concluded that BJP will pursue its same old communal policy, that is, hatred for Christians very vigorously under the leadership of Parrikar irrespective of positive assurance given by its big man Advani to the special Catholic delegation that met him in Goa recently. Parrikar is such a hard core communal, an anti-Christian man that people in Goa should not trust him any more nor his fake smile. Once elected to power he will do what he feels the best irrespective of what Advani said. And by the way, how one can trust Advani when he himself was the core communal involved even in the demolition of Babri Masjid? What Advani said in Goa in favour of Catholics is just a trick to win the election. People in Goa must question BJP now only that they will not accept Parrikar as the next Chief Minister of Goa IN ANY EVENT. To say this one need not be the follower of BJP only, it is enough one to be a just voter in Goa.

Being an offshoot of Maharastrawadi Gomantak Party in Goa, BJP will never support the cause of Konkani, moreover, MGP laid its foundation on the basis of hatred for Konkani especially for Romi Konkani because it is followed by Christians in Goa. MGP came into being to liquidate Christians and Christian influence in Goa. Since BJP swallowed MGP in its stomach acquiring all the past attributes of MGP, how then can BJP support Romi Konkani? Hence, it is a clue for all the Romi Konkani supporters to reject each and every candidate of BJP. Our present hot issue dearest to our hearts is recognition for Romi script Konkani also on par with Nagri script. Since BJP is silent over this issue, there is no point in affiliating with BJP. Treat BJP as anti-Romi.

What about Congress manifesto on Romi Konkani? Like BJP, Congress manifesto also silent on the elevation of Romi Konkani on par with Nagri Konkani. So how we can elect Congress candidates and Congress party to power? Saxttikar and Ilhaskar have done tremendous sacrifices for the cause of Konkani and amongst them overwhelming majority are the followers of Romi script Konkani. So why now they remain silent? Speak out loudly my friends and colleagues. Ask openly and loudly your candidates namely Luizin Faleiro in Navelim, Francisco Sardinha in Cortalim, Digambar Kamat in Margao, Mickey Pacheco in Beanulim, Philipe Neri in Velim, Alexio in Loutolim and Karl Vaz and all other Congress candidates from wherever they may be contesting the election, this question especially when they come for campaigning in your localities and constituencies: “WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON RAISING THE STATUS OF ROMI KONKANI? IF ELECTED, WILL YOU SUPPORT IN THE ASSEMBLY THE CAUSE OF ROMI KONKANI OR YOU WILL REMAIN DUMB IN THE ASSEMBLY ON THIS TOPIC? IF ELECTED, WILL YOU INTRODUCE THE BILL IN THE ASSEMBLY ON THIS TOPIC OR SUPPORT BLINDLY FOR THIS BILL IF INTRODUCED BY ANY OTHER MEMBER? OR YOU WILL BE AFRAID OF THE HIGH COMMAND AND LOCAL PRO MARATHI COMMAND WHIP? Based on their answers, voters must make their decision. Do not be afraid of your candidates. Make them bow down to your wishes and not vice-versa and if you voters remain firm in your stance, they will surely bend to your wishes because they want to get themselves elected which can come only thru your precious votes.

The issue of Romi Konkani elevation is NOW OR NEVER. Tiatrists in Goa who are now shouting so loudly must move fast, take up this issue and follow their candidates wherever they go for election campaign and openly ask them what will be their decisions once they are elected. I know Tiatrists can do lot but many of them can do only on the Stage. Hence, Wilmix Mazarello, Prince Jacob and others must now gear up their campaign and prowl on every Congress candidate especially in Salcette and get sure assurance from them that they will support the issue of Romi Konkani in the Assembly irrespective of their party manifestoes. Democracy is now coming into the lap of every voter. It is the golden opportunity for every voter to show his or her power now. DEMOS KRATIA – Peoples Power – must rule supreme. Come on tiatrists mainly from Salcette. Take up your guts and wisdom and question your candidates on this topic loudly and openly otherwise dump them all into the gutter.

MEANTIME, ASK FR. CONCEICAO WHO IS A STRONG SUPPORTER OF ROMI KONKANI THIS QUESTION: HELLO FR. CONCEICAO!! YOU ASK PEOPLE TO SUPPORT MAUWIN GODINHO IN THE COMING ELECTION. WILL YOUR MAUWIN GODINHO IF ELECTED, SUPPORT THE CAUSE OF ROMI KONKANI IN THE ASSEMBLY IRRESPECTIVE OF WHAT HIS OTHER COLLEAGUES AND HIGH COMMAND AND LOW COMMAND OF CONGRESS TELLS HIM? Hello Fr. Conceicao!! YOU ARE TELLING THE VOTERS TO ELECT CONGRESS TO POWER. IF ELECTED, WILL YOUR CONGRESS OF CHORS, BAMTTE, CHIKANER, RAPIST AND LOOTERS SUPPORT THE ISSUE OF ROMI KONKANI? Otherwise, Fr. Conceicao, tum ani tuzo Retir gelo dobean BECAUSE YOUR SUPPORT FOR MORALLY CORRUPT PEOPLE WILL BE AN ACT OF ANTI-CHRSITIANITY. CHRSITIANITY DOES NOT PREACH THE GOSPEL OF SUPPORTING CHEATS AND IMMORAL. IF YOU DO THAT THEN YOUR "PADRIPON GAL DOBEAN". BY USING YOUR "PADRIPON" DONT MISGUIDE THE INNOCENT CHRISTIANS.

REQUIEM MASS FOR CAROL ON 24.05.07 THUR.

REQUIEM MASS FOR THE SOUL OF
THE LATE CAROL COELHO.

Tomorrow Thursday 24th May 2007, at 7.15 P.M., at Holy Family Cathedral, Kuwait City, there will be a Requiem Mass for the soul of the late Carol Coelho who died in a tragic car accident on 21st of this month, in Kuwait.

On behalf of myself I send my deepest sympathies to Carol’s husband and my friend Cosme Coelho and their two beloved children Crystal and Creighton.

First time I met Carol was 2 ½ years back and then and there I realized that she was a kind hearted person. My colleague John Santano Fernandes was attending that time Goa Day Function at Funaitees. When Carol and Cosme without knowing John brought him and his wife and daughter into their car, John on the way suddenly got a massive heart attack. Having no option, they drove him to Adnan Hospital where Carol with the assistance of her husband Cosme completed all the hospital formalities and got my colleague John admitted into the hospital. It was something unimaginable for an ordinary person to fathom Carol’s and Cosme’s kindness towards a person whom they never knew and yet they volunteered to help him. Carol proved to be a real “Bom Samaritan” along with her equally kind hearted husband Cosme. It is a pity such people die so early. God alone knows the sacred of such deaths.

Tomorrow 24th of May 2007, Carol and Cosme were to celebrate their 25th Wedding Anniversary in one of the Star Hotels in Kuwait. Preparations were already in progress and she was waiting for the big day tomorrow. But, unfortunately the much awaited TOMORROW NEVER CAME. This great Tomorrow abruptly disappeared from this planet on the day before yesterday only leaving behind Cosme wifeless and both their children motherless. Will they get Carol back again? Never!!

According to the information available from the family circle, Carol body will be flown to Mumbai for the funeral.

May heavenly God give Carol eternal peace in His Kingdom and may the same eternal God give courage to Cosme and both the children to bear this colossal loss.

A. Veronica Fernandes,
Kuwait.

CONDOLENCES

We deeply mourn the sad and tragic demise of Mrs. Carol Coelho and convey our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to her husband Mr. Cosme Coelho, children Crystal and Creighton and all the family members.

Another Year, Another Season, Where are we...?

Another Year, Another Season, Where are we...?
-by gasper crasto
Watching India beat Kuwait convincingly in straight sets at the last Asian Games Volleyball games and see the well-built Arabs look like school kids in front of our Indians began to resurge my thoughts again and with assertion – India can do this in football too. But why can’t the football administrators think like me...!

In recent years, we have all seen Indian football struggling to refurbish a team that can beat Japan, Iran, Saudi, China and Korea, or face any Asian team with confidence. Yet nothing has really worked out. Administrators come and go; they make newspaper headlines and have a good time. But, none has really succeeded in revamping the sullying rating of team India in football. The demand for the game too seems to be fading after every season.

Efforts to improve practice grounds, stadiums, live telecast and commentary by professional commentators, etc, has not really captivated interest of spectators at the stadiums. Only the semi-final and final encounters may draw standby crowds. Moreover, the whole system seems to be slowly crashing – top teams (Mahindra) have no home crowd; home crowd has no teams (Kerala); and top footballing states have no strong clubs (Manipur).

Much hope was pinned on the National Football League (NFL) teams to boost the game. But half the NFL teams seem to be playing just to exist in the League. Many of them bring ‘foreign’ players only for NFL – either to help get results or defend from being relegated. But then, foreign recruits, although playing attractive and pleasing football, turn out to be dreadfully expensive – an added burden on clubs who try to minimize costs and even think of closing down clubs.

Compared to foreign recruits, our National ‘hopes’ of a World Cup are paid peanuts. And whenever some clubs want to pay a handsome amount, others get jealous, or fellow players feel cheated. Inadvertently, it has all affected the game and ultimately our Indian football.

Players too have become shrewd nowadays, perhaps due to continued insecurity as they grow older by another season. What will I do if the club sacks me? Would I be able to get a similar package in another club? Would I be able to prove myself in a lower club? Would I be able to live up to my ‘living’ standards earning a paltry sum with another (poor) club? Wouldn’t it be a shame to play in lower divisions? Questions such as these continuously haunt established players.

Then there are personal problems of girlfriends and wives and traumatic disputes of family life and friends which distract players from giving their absolute commitment and concentration.
Younger players are far cleverer. They think more of how much they would save at the end of a season and how much they’d be able to sign in the next. Footballers in India usually never retire till they get injured or are forced out. Everyone wants to make some buck before they are axed – and kick football out of their sight -- forever.

Very few are actively involved or inducted in the game after the end of their career. Whereas some are lucky enough to find a job with the club they played, or initiate some business, others have rotted on their past glory, and many fly abroad to pursue a better life. Very few are reckoned as coaches or administrators, or recommended to support the game. Half of those employed in the sport either lack appropriate educational expertise or are ignorant on contemporary competence even though they may show utter enthusiasm, dedication and discipline.

Everything in Indian football functions like an ideal professional set-up except when it comes to paying a player. It is said that football is a team sport. Yet there is a concealed discrimination in players’ remuneration – some are paid Rs. 2 lakhs per month while others in the first eleven are not even paid twenty thousand for the entire season. Will this system encourage lower salaried players to play better than others in the team and fight their way into the first eleven? Or will they be perpetually given a ‘spares’ value? The ‘stars’, however, get credit for all the victories and upcoming players are blamed for defeats.

The more our administrators try to boost competition and revolutionalize the game, we find more established clubs reducing annual budgets to cut down expenses, and so, few new stars capable of competing at the Asian level are seen emerging. If this continues, it won’t be long before we ‘eventually’ see find Ranji-d spectators and Cooperage-d stadiums.

Like any federation, the AIFF has relied upon clubs to produce world class players. But we just can’t keep pouring money on foreigners without having them to influence our players and our game.

Mandatory efforts to force clubs to assemble Under-19 teams and hold state-level leagues for youngsters have not really proved productive as far as the National level is concerned. The clubs give little importance to the younger teams which are seen more of an anguish forced on them by the federation.

End result. We cannot rely upon National clubs to raise our standard.

National clubs are more interested in competing with each other than guide players or help encourage youngsters to better themselves. Top clubs are not interested in wasting time in teaching ‘basics’; they all look for professional players.

Worst part of most State level federations is the selection criteria. Players are selected with ‘Indian bikes made for Indian roads’ way of thinking. Upcoming youngsters are as diminutive as dwarfs and as weak as mice. They may be very skilful but should we go for circus material?

There are very few Brahmanands, Sudip Chatterjees, Savio Medeiras, V.P. Satyans, Parminder Singhs, Joe Paul Ancheris, Anthony Rebellos, etc, seen in Indian football nowadays. Why? Because the selectors fail to persuade and induct strongly built players.

Have a look at the present Indian National Volleyball team. Rewind back on the small Ivory Coast football team that played in World Cup 2006 -- one of the best, new teams to impress. Look at all the European teams – especially the German National team. The lads have a built of heavy weight boxers and they are tall and strong. Average weight, now, of world class footballers is 83 kilos and 6 feet tall. And they can cover 100 meters in less than 15 seconds.

Football has become a physical game more than ever; there is no room for wax bones, ‘turtle’ runners and chicken hearts.

Year in and year out we talk about strengthening our clubs, our game and the National team. Of course it is difficult to find hugely built, tall players, and who are skillful. But then, we should weigh up to groom players based on their physique rather than milking bulls.

International football has no place anymore for pocket-sized ‘ball jugglers’. We should have players who can shield the ball with three opponents on their heels, who can sprint -- not just run, who can bulldoze their way not just dash, and who can kick with both feet equally and with accuracy. That should be able to give us a strong advantage over our opponents whenever we step up on to the field. This will mean that the game is already won psychologically before it has started.

THROW OUT ANTI-GOAN MAUWIN GODINHO.

THROW OUT ANTI-GOAN MAUWIN GODINHO.

As per the latest news appearing in the media, the beautiful village of Sancoale which is going to be devoured by Birlas has finally elected its Sarpanch one migrant Ms Sharda Rathode. This non-Goan Sharda is a nominee of Cortalim constituency Congress candidate Mauwin Godinho. She got elected as Sarpanch thru the backing and initiative of Mauwin Godinho. It is now proved beyond doubt that Mauwin Godinho is the supporter and promoter of non-Goans and hence he is the opponent of Goans. In view of this, is it advisable to elect Mauwin Godinho in Cortalim constituency on Congress symbol? I feel all Goan voters in Cortalim constituency should cast their votes against Mauwin Godinho and defeat him in the coming election. It is very risky to elect Mauwin Godinho because he will sell Goa, not only Sancoale village, if he is elected.

Voters from Cortalim constituency must unite as one solid block against Mauwin Godinho and defeat him by all means. Where is Fr. Conceicao De Silva gone now? Hello Fr. Conceicao!!Recently you have inaugurated the election office of Mauwin Godinho and blessed him and his campaign. But, now, can you Fr. Conceicao tell us that what Mauwin Godinho has done in supporting non-Goan in Sancoale Panchayat is correct as if there was no compatible Goan availble for this post there? I am sure, with Mauwin Godinho, Fr. Conceicao will also get a defeat from the hearts of the Catholics and this will harm even the sanctity of his Mandur Retreat. People must oppose all who are supporting non-Goans, including Fr. Conceicao and his Retreat which is losing its sanctity because its leader Fr. Conceicao is associating with disgraceful politicians.

Reacting on this election of non-Goan Sarpanch in Sancoale, ex Kuwaitkar and current Sancoalekar Simon Carvalho said “it is a shame for all those who chose to support an incompetent migrant woman in place of better local (Goan) candidates”. Mauwin Godinho is fully responsible for this and Goan voters from Cortalim constituency must not forgive him for this anti-Goan act of his.

It is a pity that we are witnessing the real Congress culture in Goa. Congress culture is so dirty and so selfish that for their personal benefits Congressmen will do anything, they will even sell their wives for a price. Mauwin Godinho was rejected in the last election by the Cortalim voters because he was found to be corrupt. He was found in power scam. He was the greatest traitor, he betrayed Congress Party and the then India’s premier Rajiv Gandhi when Rajiv Gandhi was so close to him. Without any shame, he defected from Congress Party and joined Churchill Alemao’s PDF Government in 1990 and minted money thru illicit means by taking advantage of his ministerial position in PDF Government. Can any one trust this man any more? Only Cortalim constituents can save Goa by rejecting Mauwin Godinho otherwise he will loot and destroy Goa because he is the most corrupt politician in Goa. During last 5 years by being out of power he has learnt the real lesson of being non-entity. Now, he is trying his luck again on Congress ticket. It is time now for all true Goans to join together and defeat him in the coming election. Defeat him and boycott Mandur Retreat of Fr. Conceicao who is supporting and promoting anti-Goan and chor and bamtto.

If Cortalim constituency voters are real sons and real daughters of their real Goan fathers then they will reject Mauwin Godinho who is the promoter of non-Goans. If real Goans will not act like real Goans then they will be the products of Ghanttis. Now will be the time of real Goans to test their genuine Goanness.

Meantime, thru our campaign in Kuwait, we have managed to convince many of the Cortalim constituency residents to advise their nearest and dearest back home in Goa not to vote for Mauwin Godinho. People in Kuwait has already started speaking against Mauwin Godinho and the echo of their talk will surely reverberate in Cortalim constituency.

THROW COMMUNAL BJP OUT.

THROW COMMUNAL BJP OUT.

When I say “throw COMMUNAL BJP out” I don’t mean that other parties are any better. We are in India as Indians. We must support genuine Indians. BJP by declaring its affiliation towards pro-Hindu leanings is proving itself how anti-India this party is. The very foundation of India is SECULARISM and India is founded on the principle of SECULARISM. Those who do not subscribe to this principle are enemies of India, they are anti-Indians. India does not belong to Hindus only and all Hindus do not subscribe to this view otherwise due to their strong majority in India they would have converted India into a Theocratic State like Pakistan. But it is not so. Those who claim that India belongs to any one particular religion are anti-Indians and as such candidates of such parties do not deserve any vote. Goan voters on 2nd June election must take note of this and should bury the party that proclaims India belongs to Hindus only. India is not the “Bapaicho Fath” of BJP only. Christians, Muslims and intelligent secular Hindus must oppose BJP even if any of its candidates is good because ultimately he will lean towards his party BJP only because party affiliations are more powerful and more demanding. In party supported election individual’s decisions are not counted.

BJP candidates will during the electioneering give lot of assurances but do not believe them. BJP men no doubt are not as corrupt and as looters as “chor” Congressmen are but surely they are communal and because of their being fanatic communal they will make the living of non-Hindus miserable in Goa the way in some places in Pakistan Muslim fanatics are doing for Christians. Electing BJP to power absolutely or partially, directly or indirectly is a danger to Christians and Muslims in Goa. That they are so fanatically communal was proved by their anti-Christian hatred under Parrikar Ministry. Do not allow Parrikar to become another Modi of Gujrat. Let Parrikar and his party apologise for the sins they have committed against minority community in Goa when they were ruling Goa with the backing of Rostad Christian MLA’s. Oh Christian voters! Do not forgive Parrikar and BJP for what they have done for non-Hindus and Christians.

I am not a communal but I am only alerting of the danger of communal BJP. I am not a communal but I am only advising the minority communities in Goa not to support communal BJP because BJP in Goa under Parrikar is all out to eliminate Christians and Muslims. We as Christians we want to live in Goa peacefully without any harm for us for being Christians. Will BJP give security for us? I STRONGLY SAY NO. OTHERWISE, LET PARRIKAR OPENLY DECLARE HIS REAL INTENTIONS. Even on the job front, BJP preferred its own persons and supporters. The formation of BJP Government or any BJP led Government under Parrikar means: HATRED FOR CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS, NO GOVERNMENT JOBS FOR CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS, HARASSMENT FOR CHRSITIANS AND MUSLIMS, SECOND AND THIRD CLASS TREATMENT FOR CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS. We as Christians we want to live in Goa as full fledged citizens on equal footing with any citizen of Goa. And we Christians are genuine Goans and not the ones migrated to Goa from Ghanttar many years back and settled down in Parra and elsewhere and Goanised as artificial Goans.

People from Mapusa constituency must think very hard before voting for BJP candidate Francis D’Souza. He should not only be rejected by the Christian voters but he should be even excommunicated for supporting anti-Christian BJP. Mapxenkar Christians must take note of this. Normally Mapxenkar are considered to be secular and intelligent and this time they should vote only for the secular candidates. The Mapusa Church and priests must also start educating the Christians from the Church premises the danger lying for their security if Francis D’Souza is elected. I have no trust in Francis D’Souza’s integrity that he will support us as Christians because in the past he already proved how weak and selfish he was when the matter of opposing Parrikar came when Parrikar introduced anti-Christian VCD. I feel ashamed that he graduated from the same College as I a little earlier than him. Incidentally some of the worst politicians of Goa were the students of St. Xaviers College, Mapusa. It is time now not only for Mapusa Church but also the entire Goan Church to oppose BJP openly because by opposing BJP we will oppose the enemies of Christians and Christianity. Because of our being Christians we will have to suffer if BJP comes to power. By opposing communal BJP we will be doing justice for our Indiannesss. Our true Indian origin will lie only on our being secular and not communal like BJP. Hence, we must in the coming election defeat D’Souza from Mapusa constituency and also we must refuse our votes to every BJP candidate and also those backed by BJP.

Meantime, our campaign in Kuwait is going extremely well of advising our families, relatives, dependents and friends in Goa not to vote for BJP.

POWER OF SPORTS & SPORTSPERSONS

Power of Sports & Sportspersons.

Well done Australia for calling off its forthcoming ODI cricket series in Zimbabwe against the high handedness and dictatorial regime of Robert Mugabe who was even accused of human rights abuses which are more intolerable. Sports are one of the major weapons that can be used to expose and to punish the misdeeds of any leader and country for acting arrogant against his people or neighbours. The apartheid regime of South Africa would still be surviving if it was not for the stringent sporting weapons applied against the white regime of South Africa. To raise his objection against the arrogant Brasilian regime, the 1982 World Cup skipper of Brazilian national team Dr. Socrates wore a head-band declaring his slogan for democracy which brought the attention of billions of people around the globe on what was happening in Brazil that time. Socrates was the great admirer and follower of the teachings of the great French democratic writer Voltaire.

The great world heavy weight boxing genius Cassius Clay turned Mohammed Ali by defying to fight for the US in Vietnam war not only opposed American involvement in Vietnam but thru his defiance and opposition even to the extent of forfeiting his World heavyweight Boxing title, he exposed the folly of US involvement in Vietnam. It is he as a sportsman more than anyone else who exposed US blunders in Vietnam war. When great nations, great leaders and even great human celebrities and personalities like the great Philosopher cum Mathematician Bertrand Russell failed to expose misdeeds of US in Vietnam and stop its involvement there, finally it was left to sportsman and boxer Mohd. Ali to expose US and make this issue more laud. Prof. B. Russell along with peers like him even conducted a Nuremburg type of trial of American involvement in Vietnam and they came to the conclusion that this war was the most horrible in the history of humanity where US was using and testing weapons of most inhuman in nature and hence it has to be stopped. But who listened to these great scientists and intellectuals?

However, when Mohd. Ali made a noise, the world listened to him more clearly and hence the phone call to Mohd. Ali from the other side of the continent by B. Russell which reads as detailed by Mohd. Ali in his masterpiece “The Greatest” as: “I picked up the Telephone Receiver and said hello. Immediately a totally different voice appeared on the phone saying I am Bertrand Russell speaking from the other side of the continent. When I heard this name, I jumped into joy because I know the magnitude of this man. Then I said, yes Professor, what can I do? Then Professor replied – I support your campaign against US and its involvement in Vietnam. In the history of humanity there was not a single war which was more barbaric than this Vietnam War. Please carry on with your fight. I support you”. When Mohd. Ali raised his voice against this war the whole world came to know the mischief US was doing in Vietnam and then the public opinion raised not only in US but also all around the world against American involvement in Vietna and then the history.

When Russia entered Afghanistan, it was again sportsman Mohd Ali who campaigned hard against Russia to force them to withdraw from Afghanistan. Jimmy Carter as president was ruling US at that time. Mohd. Ali was in Bombay attending a reception at Braboune Stadium where he was doing live exhibition of his punches in front of hundreds of attendees. Suddenly his aid comes and informs him that a call is come from US president to solicit your help. Jimmy Carter wants you to return back immediately and go on tour to all the Islamic countries on behalf of US Government to explain the folly of Soviet Russia in entering Afghanistan. Why Jimmy Carter utilised the services of a sportsman Mohd. Ali? It was because his celebrity status can attract better attention than that of any political or Foreign Service figure. Besides, to reprimand further to force Soviets to withdraw from Afghanistan, US led Olympic boycott was conducted against Olympic Games organized in Moscow that year and made mockery of this Olympic Games. Because of these factors the image of Soviet Russia was totally got tarnished and world has isolated Soviet Russia from the comity of civilized nations. This is the power of Sports and sportspersons which is unique in nature.

The next Olympic Games are going to be held in China at Beijing. Because of its crude human rights abuses the world is making a big noise but Chinese dictators are giving a deaf hearing to the world claims. China has committed yet another big blunder by stripping Dalai Lama and his people of the privilege of their homeland. To deny one of the right to have his own homeland is denying one of his birth rights. Dalai Lama is a great spiritual and political figure and also a Nobel Prize winner for Peace. He deserves all the privileges and facilities along with his peaceful people to have his homeland which China denied by using its brute might and political clout in the comity of nations.

How about boycotting Beijing Olympics against Chinese autocratic rule and human rights abuses? Can US lead a movement the way it did against Soviet Russia? Or can Kuwait come forward or least intellectual Kuwaitis can raise their voices in unified tone because they know better the misery of having no homeland because they themselves were subjected to the stripping them of their homeland when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait?

BEWARE OF UGDP & BABUSH

Beware of UGDP & Babush.

Finally all the candidates for the forthcoming election have filed their nomination papers. They will now promise to the voters not only sky but even Heaven. Dump them all into the Hell and let them burn there till eternity. The most complicated candidate is Babush Monsurate from Taleigao. He is now a wounded Lion and if he is allowed to get re-elected he will come out with fury and vengence and reintroduce his earlier projects for his personal gains. Babush will reintroduce his much opposed projects by the public, namely Town and Country Planning Ordinance and Regional Plan for Goa. Both these plans are destruction for Goa. T & C Planning ordinance was opposed by the public thru the leadership of Mummy Victoria Fernandes from St. Cruz and Regional Plan was vehemently opposed under the leadership of Dr. Rebello.

When the entire public was opposing these two projects of Babush, the Congress Government of Goa under Rane was showing less interest in the opposition of the entire public. This shows the power and might of Babush. He has shown his real nature that when he decides to do something, he is at it arrogantly, come what may, he will not care for any opposition. His ways are Salazarist. It is a pity that even after so many years of the exit of Portuguese from Goa, Salazarist blood is still flowing in Goa. And for that matter who said Goa is liberated from Salazarist regime? Taleigao Church and priests must try to convert him to a better path so that he uses his power for the good of the people. By side tracking very intelligently Somnath Zuwarkar from contesting on Congress Symbol, Babush made his way clear to get re-elected because there is no opposition for him that can shake him. And once he is elected from UGDP, like last time he will make mockery of UGDP by jumping into any party that gives him better dividends.

For this reason, everyone interested in Goa must now only warn Congress, MGP, BJP, Save Goa Front and others to take note of this danger of Babush. No party forming the next ministry in Goa should allow Babush to dictate his terms. Babush has destroyed the peace of Goa by introducing T & C Country Planning ordinance and Regional Plan for Goa. It is Babush who made people of Goa to come on to the streets in agitation for scrapping his two projects. If he is re-elected, he will do the same thing again because he does not care for anything. It is the responsibility of Taleigao voters now to save Goa and Goans from the sword of Babush. If Taleigao voters act sensibly then God will bless them otherwise they will be punished by the curse of innocent Goans who will have to suffer because of the sins of Babush.

No single party in Goa is capable to get the majority in the coming election because every party is sailing in the same boat. They are all birds of the same feathers, untrustworthy and impotents to rule Goa constructively. UGDP is the most unreliable party; they are fit only to issue Press Releases. It is this party that is making joke of its candidates first by allowing them to get elected and then by allowing the same candidates to go in the market of defection for a price. UGDP is like a Bazar of selling its MLA’s. Their past record is justifying my statement. It is better that the voters should boycott their candidates because the leadership of UGDP has no control over its MLA’s. Adv. Radharao Gracias is a big joke, his statements are nothing but full of jokes though he is very intelligent but not a serious man. His other colleagues in the party are not of any good.

UGDP is a disgrace on former United Goans Party. Goans should be careful while voting the candidates of UGDP otherwise voters must take a firm undertaking even thru legal means that once elected its MLA’s will not join nor defect to any other party. Is Radharao Gracias having marbles in his pants to vouch for his MLA’s? Is UGDP leadership got guts to assure the voters that none of its MLA’s will defect? Will all the candidates fighting the coming election on UGDP symbol give an undertaking that they will not defect to communal BJP like Babush and Mathanay Saldanha did last time and brought disgrace on their religion when Parrikar tried to defame and humiliate Christians? Oh Christian voters from Taleigao! Beware of Babush. He may join even the Lucifer to bring Jesus Christ from Heaven and spoil the gracefulness and holiness of Heaven. Goan voters and especially voters from Taleigao help Goa and Goans by taking care of Babush. Oh voters from Taleigao! Don’t become purchasable commodities. Money will come and money will go but thru this money received as bribes for votes will surely do heavy damage not only for Taleigao but for the entire Goa and for this posterity will hold you Taleigao voters responsible. You voters from Taleigao, you are now the saviours of Goa. Beware of Babush and beware of UGDP.

Just because we are away from our Goa it does not mean that we are careless for the cause of Goa. We are as careful for the well being of Goa as any of our resident Goan. Physically we may be away but our hearts and minds are totally in Goa. Bodily we may be in Kuwait but soully we are in Goa. We love Goa and Goan causes as no expatriate does anywhere in the world. Our past records and contributions for the cause of Goa will surely justify my point. We Kuwaitkars are much closer to Goa in mind and heart than any of the Goans settled anywhere in the world. Hence, on coming Thursday 23rd of this month we have decided to organize a meeting of like minded Goans to ascertain their views on the coming election in Goa and make our views open to Goa and Goans in Goa. At this crucial time for Goa we cannot be silent spectators. Surely this is going to be the last election of Goa where genuine Goans will have an upper hand but later on Goa’s fate will be decided in the elections to come by the non-Goans who will increase their number with the help of the MLA’s in the next Vidhan Sabah.

Navelim to clash with AVC in a challenging Final: Daswin Memorial

-by gasper crasto

Kuwait: Navelim Youth Centre sponsored by (Times - Weekly Newspaper, and City International Exchange Co.) will meet seasoned campaigners AVC Overseas Association in the finals of Daswin Memorial Football Tournament to be played at Sour Grounds on 18 May 2007.

Daswin Memorial is organized by Santos Football Club and is played under Kuwait Indian Football Federation (KIFF). All matches of the tournament are officiated by Indian Football Referees Association.

In the semi-finals played on Friday, Navelim thrashed Bombay Boys5-0 while AVC beat last years Semifinalists Kerala Challengers 2-0.

Kuwait India Football Federation (KIFF) Season Champions for 3 years at a stretch, the men in black, AVC-Kuwait proved their mental and physical strength to storm into the Finals of Daswin Memorial Football Tournament organized by Santos Football Club, edging out strong contenders Kerala Challengers by a brace. They will meet their arch rivals Navelim Youth Center-Kuwait who in thrashed Bombay Boys 5-0.

The match between AVC-Kuwait and Kerala Challengers rose to frantic heights as both teams tried to take control of the game. AVC-Kuwait with their traditional one touch football took the steam out of the Kerala players. Kerala mostly relied on long balls which were bottled up by the strong AVC defense led by Vincy Pereira and Joseph Quadros. AVC missed easy sitters in the first half. In the first quarter of play Kerala Challengers goalkeeper made a diving save to avoid Kevin’s volley entering the nets. The first half ended without either side scoring any goals.

The men in Black: AVC Overseas Association

The second half saw AVC-Kuwait take full control of the proceedings with their midfielders Edward & Luciano spraying precision passes to their forwards which resulted in the 1st goal. Malvy lurking around broke the Kerala Challengers off-side trap for once to intercept a diagonal ball from Edward and drove it past the onrushing goalkeeper. Kerala Challengers' supporters rushed to the referee and assistant referee appealing for a off-side.

The match was stopped for around 15 minutes but better sense prevailed and the Kerala Challengers continued with the game. Hats off to the Kerala players, committee and fans alike for their continuous fair play and disciplinary attitude shown on Sour grounds among the Indian expatriate community in Kuwait.

The second goal was copybook two touch football from AVC players with Liston providing Kevin with a neat pass on the edge of the 16 yard box. the latter put the ball in style across the far corner of the net thereby increasing his tally to 15 goals this season -- the highest among goalscorers.

The other semi-final between Navelim Youth Center & Bombay Boys was a one sided affair. Bombay Boys without most of their key players were a pack of novices on the field, succumbing as early as the 5th minute of the match to a 'straight volley' by Duarte Ferrao. After that it was Navelim all the way pumping in 5 goals at regular intervals.

The Finals to be played on Friday 18th May, 2007 between the two rivals is going to be a thriller. Without their key players Alvaro Dias (former Churchill Bros goalkeeper), Francis Senior (C), Vincy & Joseph , AVC will need to rely on their stand-in Captain Francis Jr. to guide and maneuver the young AVC brigade.

STOP NARVENKARISM IN THE ELECTION

STOP NARVEKARISM IN THE ELECTION

ONANISM is a sexual sin. It was committed first time by a Biblical man called Onan. He was made to have sex with his sister-in-law to produce a child because his brother could not. While Onan was having sex with his sister-in-law he was feeling guilty for not being able to be called the legal father of the child whom he was producing. By having illicit sex with his sister-in-law he was only helping his brother who ultimately would be the legal father of the child though Onan would be the biological father. Onan did not want to be nobody of the child that he was producing, he wanted to be the lagal father but circumstance did not allow him to be so. Hence, as a revenge, he was at the time of the emission of his Semen into the Sex organ of his sister-in-law, he used to remove his sex organ from his sister-in-law and throw his Semen out – which was a Sin, just like Masturbation is a sin where you destroy your Sperm. Religious codes forbid the unnecessary wastage of one’s Semen. It is only for the purpose of reproduction. Later on this type of sexual act of Onan was called as the sin of ONANISM. Then mankind started using this method called Onanism as one of the safe methods of birth control.

Narvenkarism is also a very grave sexual sin named after its initiator. The initiator of this sin has created lot of sexual scandals in Goa and he is not even ashamed of committing this type of sins on regular basis. Making use of his official position he seduces the females of his liking as if the females are toys and very many poor females are falling prey to his lust, of course against their wishes. Even Portuguese Pakles with all the powers at their disposal did not indulge in such sex orgies. His method is simple ”I will do your job surely but you will have to do my job first, that is you will have to have sex with me". He is direct in his proposal, he does not care for any shame because he is shameless. Even for asking bribe for any job, he is direct and his circle is full of pimps and bribe takers. This is the culture of Congremen which is promoted by “volkott” Goans and supported by some “Rostad” priests. His associates also come out openly with a proposal like this: “Sir hasim ek ratik nidh and tujem kam korun ghe”. This is the stage where our Goa has reached now. I dont know who made these Ministers Sirs. I dont know which Queen Elizabeth Kinghted them to call them Sirs. To call such rascals as Sirs is like disgracing the integrity of Kinghthood.

We call our Goa as “Udentichem Roma”. Is it so? Roma is a holy place but is our Goa still a holy land? Are our church leaders holy priests? Yesterday I saw in the Herald Fr. Conceicao D’Silva of Mndur Retreat fame with all his holiness was inaugurating the office of Congress candidate Mauwin Godinho. Is Godinho a good man or a corrupt politician who was accused in scams? Is Godinho an upright man or a corrupt politician? Is it right on the part of Fr. Conceicao to bless Godinho and associate with him? What lesson Fr. Conceicao gives to others – that we must support the corrupt candidates? Is Patriarch of Goa aware of what his priests are doing? By associating with Mauwin Godinho, Fr. Conceicao disgraced the Godliness of Jesus Christ. By associating with Mauwin Godinho, Fr. Conceicao equated Jesus Christ with Lucifer. Because of this people would have dislike for Fr. Conceicao and they may even boycott his retreat for being an associate of “Devchar” like Mauwin Godinho. By associating with corrupt politicians Fr. Conceicao will surely lose all his grace and in such a situation how he will cure the spiritual and physical sicknesses of the faithfuls when he himself is possessed by the political Devchar?

In the constituency where Narvenlar is contesting people should oppose him with all their might. Because of the sin of Narvenkarism the image of our females especially of Christians is shattered. The priests from all the Churches in Aldona and Tivim constituencies must raise their voices loudly and forcefully to defeat Navenkar who is all out to destroy Goa and its good image. He is become very arrogant and acting like a dictator even against the wishes of the people who got him elected. His actions are worst than that of Salazar. Church leaders must start preaching in the Churches on every Sunday and every day not to support corrupt politicians. It is the duty of Church and priests to educate the faithfuls to follow the right path. By making use of his position in the Church hierarchy, Cardinal Sin in Phillipines demolished the dictatorship and arrogance of the then president Ferdinand Marcus. By using the Pulpit in his State, Martin Luther King opposed and attacked the sin of Apartheid in USA. Fr. Torres in South America by discarding his Cassock and taking Gun on his shoulders attacked those who harassed his Christian work. Christianity is not only to preach sermons on charity and humility and beg for doles. Christianity is also to make the faithfuls to fight against the injustice. In Goa now what is going on is total injustice perpetrated by our politicians who deserve nothing but total annihilation otherwise they will annihilate innocent and poor Goans. As per the teachings of the Christ, Church and priests must stand by the weak. Otherwise, to hell with this Church that is afraid of politicians.

While writing these lines, Rane's son has resigned from the Congress Party because he was denied ticket by the High Command. Where is the affiliation to Congress by the very persons and office bearers of Congress party? Biswajeet Rane as a child was brought up with Congress feudality and the high prestige Congress party gave him thru his father. Is he grateful to what he got from Congress party for the last so many years? Congressmen are not real lovers of Congress, they are crooks and they want Congress only to get them elected on Congress Party symbol and to get them opportunities to rob, to loot and to rape Goa.

Congressmen in Goa thru illicit means amassed huge wealth from Panchayat level to Vidhan Sabaha to Ministerial level. They are become so corrupt that Sex is become their forte and what Sex? Not with their wives but with their concubines and mistresses. Almost every Congressmen is having his private apartments where he goes for recreation of illicit sex. It is these Congressmen who brought bad name for Goan females. It is these Congressmen who degraded moral fabric of Goan females and demoted the fair image of Goan females to the level of whores. Best of females are in the hands of Congressmen and they can supply you at the spur of the moment. The Congress culture is such even High Command when asks with low Command for a Briefcase of Lakhs of rupees, it instructs the low Command to send that Briefcase thru the beautiful wife of any of the Ministers, preferably the wife of Chief Minister or his daughter or daughter-in-law. And incidentally low Command agrees for this otherwise the Ministry is changed. Morgorid Mana will know this art very well. In view of this, it is imperative now for the Church leaders and priests to mount heavy onslaught on the Congressmen and especially on all the politicians who disgrace the fair image of our females. All our Goan priests are aware who is committing the sin of Narvenkarism and who initiated this sin. The Sunita incident is still fresh.

While concluding, after the Sin of Onanism and Narvekarism, we have in Kuwait yet another sin of sex called SIN OF WILSONISM which was initiated by its initiator. It is yet another method of indulging in illicit sex thru the proposal “I will help your daughter to get a job but she must allow me to have sex with her”. “Volkottan aple bailek baddeak daddlea Canadak ani hangasor rostad ostoream laguim miroita. It goes without saying that “Tache borobor astat ani taka tenko ditat titlei tachech basen Rostaduch, tei apleam bhailank baddeak laitat toslech”, however much they may deny this. This is just a tip of an iceberg. I am only alerting the innocent Goans not to fall prey to the Sins of Onanism, Narvenkarism and Wilsonism.

DHIRIO KUMPAR - KUMPARICHEO

DHIRIO KUMPAR - KUMPARICHEO.

Navelim is a renowned place that gave birth to two greatest sons of Goa. It is not Goa alone proud of these two sons but also the entire India. One was parliamentarian Dr. Francis Luis Gomes who when went to Portugal as a representative of Goa in Portuguese Parliament he made it known to the entire Europe that “ I have come from the land that produced the great epic Ramayana and Mahabaratha and also the land that created the game of Chess. Dr. Gomes was the first Indian to raise the voice of independence not only for Goa but also for the entire India from the European soil. What voice he raised for freedom was later on echoed thru the mouths of Ghandis and Nehrus. I am proud that Dr. Gomes staunchly fought for democracy and liberation for Goa. The second renowned son of Navelim was Cardinal Gracias who also as a democratic minded and freedom loving person brought glory to Indian Catholicism. He truly worked for the upliftment of poor. In the name of poor he did not fill his personal pockets like the present day politicians. By making use of political clout he had in India even with Nehru, he could have amassed so much of personal wealth which could have been helpful for him not only to buy prime properties in Goa and build one Hotel at Kesarwal but hundreds of such hotels.

In the forthcoming election for Goa Legislative Assembly, both the Kumpars – Kumpar Churchill and Kumpar Luizin are vying for the victory in the polls in Navelim. Kumpar Churchill in his normal ferocity issues lot of statements against Kumpar Luizin who as a shrewd politician keeps total silence, of course diplomatically, over the harsh remarks against him. Kumpar Churchill is hell-bent to dethrone Kumpar Luizin from Navelim and taking shelter in the newly formed political outfit “Save Goa Front”, Churchill is going ahead against Kumpar Luizin. Poor “Filhad” must be crying seeing his Papa making an attempt to demolish his Padrin. My question now is this: “Save Goa from whom?” From Ullas Buyao’s legacy of supporting BJP thru his Konkani audio Cassette “Udentichem Komoll?” What is the real agenda of Save Goa Front under the son of the late Ullas Buyao, the president of SGF Sidhanath Buyao? Is the son Buyao going to support BJP like the late father Buyao? Is SGF really a secular party or a communal party, like BJP, having its own hidden communal agenda to be opened out after the election results are declared? I am advising all Kuwaitkars in particular and Gulfakar in general to tell their dependents and family members in Goa not to vote for SGF party candidates unless the party clarifies its stand on its support or alignment with BJP either before the election or after the election. SGF has to clarify its stand openly without any prejudice or anger before the election. Otherwise, I am sure SGF will go the way Goa Congress of Dr. Willy had gone in the election – meaning total disaster. Because, to build a party you require years of dedicated hard work and not just 2 months.

Churchill has promised to support the cause of Romi Konkani. Fine. I agree. But will Churchill give an assurance that once elected he will not change his stand on Romi Konkani? The Tiatrists under Wilson Mazarello have formed a front to fight for the cause of Romi Konkani. They must now unitedly join together and ask every candidate of every contesting party whether he/she will support the cause of Romi Konkani once he/she gets elected. There should be heavy pressure on Congress candidates especially on Luizin Faleiro who is cunningly keeping his silence over this issue. Navelim voters are overwhelmingly Romi Konkani supporters and their wish must be followed. If Navelim voters are real lovers of Romi Konkani then they will make Luizin Faleiro to give an open promise to his voters that he will support Romi Konkani cause irrespective of what the high command in Delhi and low command in Goa tells him to do. Let the Congress High Command go to hell. Let Luizin know that it is not the High Command in Delhi that is electing him but the Goan voters from Navelim for whom he has to listen first otherwise throw Luizin Faleiro out. If the voters from Navelim are the real sons and daughters of their real Romi Konkani fathers then they will extract a firm assurance from Luizin Faleiro that he will support the cause of Romi Konkani in the Assembly whether his party likes it or not. My Navelim friends from Kuwait must at this stage use their relationship and contact their relatives in Navelim Goa to force Luizin to take note of this. Navelkars in Kuwait are strong supporters of Romi Konkani so also of Luizin Faleiro. They are involved in many activities and from the time I have started Konkani movement in Kuwait they have always supported this cause. Now they must bring heavy pressure on Luizin Faleiro to declare his support for Romi Konkani. If not, later on Luizin Faleiro will say “Romi Konkani mar konkear”.

Luizin Faleiro is a very shrewd politician and also a very smart. He knows very well how to maneuver his way. His silence against Kumpar Churchill’s tirade is an act of shrewdness and cunningness too. By his silence he is trying to gain sympathy from the public and at the same time he is confusing the voters. Kumpar Churchill does not understand this type of polished diplomacy. Luizin joined politics not to serve the people more but to serve his interest more. Luizin is the one politician who minted lot of money by involving in politics. Luizin made money thru politics while his Kumpar Churchill was already a moneyed man before joining politics. Kumpar Churchill’s contribution for the cause of Konkani was genuine and more while that of Kumpar Luizin not but a political move and a cheap tamasha to woo the voters. Luizin Faleiro is controlled by his wife while his Kumpar Churchill not. One day some voters from Mandopa who elected and supported Luizin Faleiro in the last election went to Luizin’s place asking advertisement for their Souvenir. Luizin Faleiro’s wife from nowhere appeared on the scene and insulted the visitors saying “Danvddai tankam Mandopkarank. Tanni electiona velar amkam vote ghalunk na”. Hearing this comment, all were shocked because they truly worked for the victory of Luizin. One of the persons who went to Luizin’s place has already died, he was deeply shocked when he heard the insult of Luizin’s wife. Regretably, Luizin maintained a “baizon’s” silence like a “lolo” when his wife insulted his own supporter voters. Now can we accept this man to serve our land and our issue? Is Luizin fit to call himself the compatriot of Dr. Francis Luis Gomes and Cardinal Gracias? Voters from Navelim think twice. Elect a person in Navelim having majestic stature befitting the statures of Dr. Gomes and Cardinal Gracias. Men like Luizin and Churchill contesting election from Navelim are a shame on the prestige of Dr. Gomes and Cardinal Gracias who brought honour, pride and glory to Navelim.

I hope in the coming election Navelkars will not act like beggars accepting doles in the form of bribes from both the contestant Kumpars. Both of them are using public offices to get their personal revenge, both are contesting the election to teach each other a good lesson. At whose cost? At the cost of public who expect them to do something good for their cause and not to settle their personal score. In this election both the Kumpars will bring about splits in families and amongst friends. Because of their personal feud one Kumpar will split husband’s vote from wife’s, one Kumpar will create a split between parents and children and thru this method of splits lot of families and friends will face devide amongst them. And after all these splits both the Kumpars after the election will be seen sipping Beers at Leonoras. Both the Kumpars will make bloody fools of everyone in Navelim. If Navelim voters are intelligent then they will not allow them to take their votes for granted. It looks both the Kumpars are fighting the coming election not to serve the cause of people but their own causes. Navelkars should treat this as the wake up call. Voting Luizin Faleiro without obtaining a firm assurance publicly and openly from him that he will stand by Romi Konkani will be a curse on all those who are voting him to power.

Tiatr, Football, Dances, and Newton’s Third Law in Kuwait

Tiatr, Football, Dances, and Newton’s Third Law in Kuwait
-by gasper crasto

Goan Football, Tiatr, Tiatrists, Dances and Internet Goans are perhaps more popular in Kuwait than anywhere else abroad.

The fame and infamy of the Goan diaspora here is mainly due to Kuwait’s laissez-faire access of the internet made easy by relaxed charges even on ADSL lines.

When I first landed in ’99, there were few who could distinguish between an explorer and a browser, hotmail and email, homepage and a webpage, Search Engines and E-Greetings. Very few could be seen using computers in their homes other than offices. Now, even kids play around with sophisticated softwares and gadgets on the PCs. And ofcourse, using the Internet has become an ‘essential’ necessity to stay ‘connected’ -- with some people having more friends on the Internet than in real life.

People in Kuwait are ‘shockingly’ so advanced and bright, that, anyone who has access to internet thinks they can write as good as Salman Rushdie and with the same fire as Rajan Narayan. End result – every news item/posting on the net is seen debated and deliberated.

There are ‘views’ and ‘opinions’ from different individuals about anything that happens in Kuwait. People who otherwise wouldn't reply to an email of their own dear ones find ample time to write what they think are ‘intelligent’ and ‘ideological’ thoughts. It is only when their idiotic ideas are being pointed out by some of the world’s firebrand Goan brains that they wish they had never been on the net.

But then, the agitated souls sit quiet only for a while. Then they are back on their heads with their ‘aristocratic’ ideas which may not be linked to any ‘current’ news, subject or activity.

Some friends and newcomers in Kuwait who are regular readers of Goan scramblings on the net posed me some of the following questions. Perhaps the answers are quite juvenile considering the seriousness of some subjects, but then, the effort is just another ‘aimless shooting’ to force my way into a ‘pliable’ controversy. Everyone is free to correct, impugn, dispute, debate or add a few more answers.

Newton’s Law for social functions and dance Nites in Kuwait:

Q. I’ve heard that the sound system for dance Nites is more expensive in Kuwait than even the main bands?
A. Everyone knows that a band without a good sound is nothing but a reng-te-teng. Even for dramas, it is the sound that creates the ‘invigorating’ effect and sometimes ‘irritating-to-some-brains’ magic. This is a fact elsewhere in the world too. The real, non-electric music culture of Goa can be found only at ‘funeral’ bands now. That too might go ‘extinct’ once the old timers are ‘run-out’.

Q. Why are there dance contests at every dance nite?
A. Quite obvious -- everyone wants to compete and prove what great dancers they are; winning prizes is secondary, participation is a headline at home.

Q. What should be done about people who don’t dance, compete or even move their feet – the ones who sit-and-watch?
A. They should be denied entry. Or whenever you come across such folks give them a push to shake off their ‘inferior gravitational pull’ of Newton’s First Law on them. Newton’s First Law: Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.

Newton’s Law for dramas and tiatrs in Kuwait.

Q. Why are the best singers not so popular in Kuwait?
A. This is because they are never criticized ‘brusquely’ on the net?

Q. Why don’t you see non-acting tiatrists patronizing tiatrs?
A. They are scared the other tiatrist will shock them by singing about their life – that’s what every tiatrist does – sing about their mates – atleast one song of this type in every ‘other’ tiatr.

Q. Why are 'Super-hit Flop' shows hailed as super hits or never criticized as flops on the net?
A. Criticism is taken as ‘kurnatkai’ this part of the world. Kuwait tiatrist never believe in criticism, many think they are professionals. Those ‘days’ are not in Kuwait when an actor/director used to improve upon their flaws based purely on criticism.

Q. Why don’t the best stories win first prizes at one act play competitions?
A. Stories don’t matter much here. It’s the ‘other-side-of-the-story’ that ‘counts’ for judges who sit around calculating on complicated spreadsheets. Judges are too occupied ‘counting’ to pay attention to the storyline. Even a play with an Oscar winning story line may end up last if it doesn’t have a good stage setting, costumes & lighting to impress the judges; while a ‘meaningless’ play with super stage decor can walk away ‘Best Play’.

Q. They say the best Tiatrists are in Kuwait. Why is it then, that there are more crowds for shows of visiting troupes?
A. Haven’t you heard, ‘a saint is never hailed in his own land?’.., visiting troupes, however, is a whole other ‘issue’. Lets talk about them some other time. Talk Kuwait.

Q. What is this ‘To aslear hanv Nam’ phrase among Kuwait Tiatrist?
A. It’s a game played ‘between’ just one person at a time. Two individuals cannot play this game together like in boxing, they play independently – one at a time. The game is more popular with the spectators (audience & readers) rather than the actual players concerned. It is made increasingly popular by some espousing ‘Vectors’ either side of the players.

Q. What’s the duration of this game? Who won it last?
A. Nobody has won it actually. The players think they can win if they accelerate more during ‘plays’, unfortunately they don’t - they always end up losers. People who applause this game are the biggest losers. Watch out ! The game is catching up fast in other parts of the Konkani world as well.

Q. Who are the winners then?
A. No one. It is EQUAL so far, it will remain equal till the players realize how foolish they are to play a game that makes them lose their ‘noble worth’ and never can give a victory. The winners, however, are always the ones who read about this game, elsewhere other than in Kuwait. Funny, isn’t it? Anyway, the game will continue for a while till better sense prevails...

Q. Is there any law (rules) for this game?
A. This game follows just one law -- Newton’s Second Law that states: The relationship between an object's mass ‘m’, its acceleration ‘a’, and the applied force ‘F’ is F = ma. Acceleration and force are vectors. In this law the direction of the force vector is the same as the direction of the acceleration vector.

Newton’s Law for football and Internet.

Q. Why are blunders committed by referees in every other match?
A. Referees commit mistakes anywhere in the world but it is only in Kuwait these are seen as blunders – that too only by the losing teams. Check with any of the winners and get back to me.

Q. Why is Mr. X made the Chief Guest? Does he know football as much as me?
A. I bet they should make you the chief guest in future. But then, aren’t you broke every weekend? Our clubs run because of some of these guests. They are our main supporters, sponsors and well wishers. What are you? The organizers will have to send a car to fetch you from home first thing...and then... forget it..

Q. Why just one prize – a man of the match award given and rest all prizes kept for the organizers?
A. This is not very often though. But it is to make the players realize that the organizers are more important than the game. There won’t be no competition without the organizing clubs.

Q. Why are photos of the winning teams NOT published in the media?
A. Usually they are published. But it is not part of the tournament agreement with the clubs to publish their photos. Teams have no right to question.

Q. Why only trophies are given, why not cash prizes in football?
A. Cash prizes, ofcourse, are forbidden by the Islamic law (nothing related to Newton’s law though). Players, however, earn enough from their clubs with some clubs paying handsomely or providing return tickets even at the cost of more deserving club members; trophies remain as the necessary souvenirs. You must see the chaos created at some games for want of these trophies though; having cash prizes will require the games to be moved to Baghdad’s tight security ‘Green Zone’.

Q. Why are there no comments on the net by players and captains?
A. Isn’t that an awful question? Even Churchill can answer that. ‘There will be comments on the net only if the ball passes through the net.’ That happened for a record one time in Kuwait – ball passing between the goalpost and through the net was given a goal kick.

Q. Can anyone write anything on anyone on the net from Kuwait? If it was in Goa, these kind of ‘reprobates’ would be caught and tied to a coconut tree.
A. Well, there are no coconut trees here and nobody has guts to misuse the palm trees available, they are owned by the Sheikh.

Q. Why are petty happenings in Kuwait floundered on all other world forums? And then shamelessly debated and circulated? Can’t this be finished off with verbal confrontations within Kuwait?
A. Well, it is eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, kick for a kick, word for a word, dialogue for a dialogue, song for a song, and email for an email – the most followed policy here is Newton’s THIRD Law: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Cheers..!
