CONTROVERSY OVER KAMAL HASAAN FILM.

Since time immemorial God sent into this world innumerable Prophets as per the need of the hour. God sent them as His messengers and while preaching the messages of God they faced lot of problems and opposition from this earthly creatures. Though the Prophets faced lot of difficulties in propagating the messages of God yet they refused to give up their mission of spreading the messages of God comprising Love, Peace, Compassion, Tolorance, Forgiveness and everything good.

The originators of two greatest religions Christianity and Islam while propagating the messages of God suffered a lot. But the followers of these religions for slight provocation tear the human beings into pieces instead of following the doctrines of the originators of their religions. Not only Islam and Christianity teach the doctrine of Love, Peace, Tolerance and forgiveness but for that matter all the religions teach the same. If human beings follow this doctrine this world created by God and where we live would be a blissful place for all.

From the time of first Prophet of God till now we also have earthly Devils too to create discord among us and thereby create disorder into this otherwise beautiful world. The job of these devils is to provoke peaceful people by hurting their sentiments by abusing their religions and the originators of their religions.

Last week we saw in India heavy row over the release of the Film "VISHWA ROOPAM" by Kamal Haasan. Our Muslim brothers have found some objectionable scenes in it which hurt their religious sentiments and hence they demanded in Tamil Nadu to halt its Tamil version release. There was a hue and cry all over India because of this Film, the producer Kamal Haasan himself even volunteering to go into self exile as a mark of protest against all those who are opposing his Film in a free and secular country India.

Islam is one and what is bad for Islam in Tamil Nadu should also be bad in other parts of India. however, surprisingly with the exception of Tamil version in Tamilnadu everywhere else this Film was released without any untoward incident where no Muslim objected to its release. Is it because in Tamilnadu Muslims are more vocal to air their grievances while elsewhere they are not? Or elsewhere they are afraid to raise their voices against this Film?

Secondly the Censor Board of India without any reservation passed this Film for the release all over the country. Delhi Censor Board's jurisdiction applies to every part of India including Tamil Nadu where its Chief Minister Jayalalitha easily surrendered to the demands of some Islamists who found some scenes in this film against Islam.  In view of this selective opposition to this Film in Tamil Nadu it looks some interested parties in Tamil Nadu in the name of their religious belief tried to create a Muslim vote bank for them during the next general election.

In India there are some provocative Non-Muslims who like to provoke Muslims and other minorities. Generally speaking Muslims are prone to get provoked in India. Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) was also provoked and abused but He never submitted to the the provocateurs.

There was once an incident where the neighbour of Prophet every morning was throwing Dirt at the entrance of the Prophet's house, this was routine for a few days. One day Prophet did not find this dirt and already knowing who was the culprit doing this dirty act Prophet went to his house and enquired why he did not throw the dirt today? At this humility of Prophet the culprit who was sick on that day and because of which he failed to perform his dirty act was ashamed and became a changed man. What an excellent patience and tolerance of the Prophet which worth emulation by all His followers?

There is one more incident which deserves highest respect for Prophet's tolerance and patience. It was at Taif in Saudi Arabia. When Prophet was preaching he was abused and insulted by the people around him, so much so, He was even pelted with Stones but Prophet never cursed them nor retaliated on the contrary He forgave them and asked God to forgive them as well.

These two incidents should be suffice for the Muslims to be tolerant instead of getting angry for slight provocation by the enemies of Islam who are waiting to create disorder in India by blaming Muslims for anything. The demolishers of Babri Masjid know the general election is coming very fast and for this election they want an issue to fight the election. My Muslim brothers and sisters in India must maintain their cool withou getting provoked for slight provocation.

Kamal Haasan and his Film are too small to shake such a mighty religion Islam. Islam is the powerful religion and no power on this earth can shake it nor create any dent to any part of it. It is a rising religion and not diminishing religion. The greatest achievement of this planet is not the sending of the men into the Moon but raising Islam to its highest peak as we see it today.
