INDIA’S CAMPAIGN AGAINST TERRORISM
Public opinion is the greatest weapon one can use to change society’s thinking and this public opinion according to Prof. Laski who was a great political scientist, “need not necessarily be the opinion of entire public, it can even be the opinion of one particular person provided it serves the cause of entire public”. Muslim terrorists of small theocratic country Pakistan have done great damage to the pride of big secular country India by terrorizing Mumbai of course as reported with the silent nod of Pakistani authorities and with the full consent of Pakistani militant organizations. India’s stand on accusing Pakistan is not wrong but to punish Pakistan for this wrong India need not go for a military war against Pakistan. While writing these lines we already got the news that Pakistani Government has already arrested few major elements involved in sending the 10 terrorists to Mumbai. This action Pakistan could have easily taken earlier itself instead of waiting for America and India and other European countries to press for it. The war India must wage against Pakistan should be the war of “public opinion” by campaigning all around the globe against Pakistani inaction and also its silence on the promotion of terrorism against India. This campaign should be internationalized with the main focus on Islamic countries some of which are blindly supporting Pakistan by virtue of being a colleague in OIC. Those Islamic countries blindly supporting Pakistan just because Pakistan is a Muslim country should be told in strong words that supporting terrorism is going against the teachings of Islam. This should be known to all the Muslim terrorists and their godfathers in a very louder voice and with regular intervals
In this respect, the top Muslim Hindi Film actors and directors must produce Hindi Films where the message should go clearly and loudly that killing of innocent people is against their religion of Islam. These Muslim terrorists should be educated on their own religion and its real teachings. Muslim Terrorists and Pakistani Muslim terrorists in particular are misguided in the name of their religion by their false religious leaders. Hindi Film industry is having a mass following not only in India but also in Pakistan, Bangladesh and other Muslim countries. Hindi Film industry Muslim giants like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and others must try to educate their fellow Muslims of the folly of their terrorist Muslims are committing in the name of their religion and thereby bringing bad name for their religion. It is now proved beyond doubt that all terrorists in our areas are Muslims. I pity these Muslim terrorists because they are misguided by their cunning Muslim leaders in their respective areas.
Indira Gandhi may be wrong in many aspects but she was a very clever political tactician. When General Yaha Khan of Pakistan let lose terror in East Pakistan, flood of refugees from East Pakistani entered India and created chaos in India. Before going for war which India wanted to avoid, as a preventive measure for war, Indira Gandhi sent as her emissary the then Foreign Minister of India, Sardar Swaran Singh to all the Islamic countries and many other European, American and Asian countries as well to explain the view point of India and the folly of Pakistan against East Pakistan because of which India was the victim. Muslim countries and major world powers were forced to tell Pakistan to behave well but yet Pakistan failed and when it failed to control itself, India went for all out war and then the history as we all know, with the birth of a new nation called Bangladesh.
Now it is time again for India to send its intelligent emissary to all around the globe especially to all the Islamic countries asking them to put pressure on Pakistan in silencing Islamic terrorists and their activities from Pakistani soil. Let all the brothers of Pakistan in religion know the consequences of encouraging terrorists in Pakistan. It is these terrorists and their violent form of terrorism that create a bad image of the otherwise great and peaceful religion of Islam. We must also understand one thing that some of the Muslim countries and societies by encouraging and supporting Muslim fundamentalists and Muslim terrorists finally themselves became victims of their own deeds. Pakistan is no exception. By encouraging Muslim militants Pakistan itself became the victim of its own deeds. It lost its own great leader and Prime Minister in making Benazir Bhutto thru the deadly weapons used by Pakistani Muslim militants only. The bombing of Marriot Hotel in Pakistan was an act of Pakistani Muslim Militancy. Besides, almost every other day we see so many Pakistani Muslims are killed by the bullets and bombs of Pakistani Muslim militants only. According to information, almost every segment of Pakistani society is infiltrated by local terrorists and militants. Nobody can say for sure where Pakistan is heading for. Will Pakistan survive as a civilized nation of Muslims for which it came into being or will it disintegrate into smaller pieces under terrorist leaders? Mohammed Ali Jinnah must be crying in his grave over the events taking place in his own Pakistan for which he did so much. His ambition was not to see Pakistan a breeding ground for terrorists. All those Muslims extremists and terrorists who are killing people in the name of their religion are going against the wishes of Jinnah who was a real secular minded man and not a Muslim fanatic though he supported Islam.
While putting pressure on Pakistan to follow our dictates we must also see the capability of Pakistan to do what exactly we want it to do. In some remote areas in Pakistan there are parallel Governments running. Islamabad Government has got very little or no power over these tribal areas. That in response to our and US demands Pakistan has acted swiftly is a great relief. It all happened because Pakistan currently is ruled by the decent, civilian and democratically elected Government. This government surely understands the language of decency thru public opinion created internationally. And in this respect, US has to put heavy pressure not only on current Government of Gilani and Zardari but more on the Pakistani Military which is on record to kill the democratically elected Governments in Pakistan because Pakistani Military has its own ulterior motive. Prominent Indians in US who got great clout over American administration must try to influence US Government in supporting the viewpoint of India. By using their clout, only 10% of American Jews succeeded in getting what they want in support of Israel otherwise Israel would have been wiped out of the Middle East by the Arabs and Muslims. Hence, the need of creation of public opinion in support of India’s requirement is imperative and thru it campaign against sheltering of terrorists in Pakistan.

Fr. Nevel will act in "KUWAIT SODDUN VETANA"
This is a well known priest in Goa, Fr. Nevel.He is propagating the word of God not only thru the Church platform but also thru the Konkani Stage. He writes Konkani Tiatros, directs and stages them all over Goa especially during the Lent season. He composes his own songs and render them on the stage just like any other top Tiatrist and singer. His Tiatros and songs are having religous significance and touches morality in one's life. Recently he released his DVD "Tim Soglim Ek Zaum" which is a wonderful one and it sold in Kuwait in greater number than any other, as per the information received.

His presence on the Stage in "Kuwait Soddun Vetana" along with other 6 topmost visiting artistes and also the best selected local artistes will surely have a dazzling effect. Dear Goans,
I happened to visit Dr. Anita Kamath Dudhane - MD Ph.D - Allergist & Immunologist, at her clinic at Kamat Complex, Caranzalem, for the reason of checking out my grandson for possible allergies. Dr. Anita is a U.S. return and is doing very well. Normally I do not open up to first time acquaintances, more specifically professionals like Dr. Anita, unless there is a cue to do so. In this case, I had quite an exchange with her as she was explaining the possible allergies sensitive youngsters like my 4 year old grandson could pick up in a place like Goa, with its untreated garbage lying everywhere and anywhere etc. As an opener, as soon as I entered her clinic, I spotted a plaque hanging on the wall with quite a bit of a write-up. Curiosity took me closer to it and I not only read it, but borrowed a paper from the assistant and copied it down. When I met the good Dr. Anita, I introduced myself to her and handed over to her my GSRP visiting card face down on which I had written thus: "I am taken up by the "Paradox of our Age" plaque hanging on your wall and I shall want to use it effectively". And then, when she turned the card, OH! she said. I know Goa Su-Raj and I know Dr. Dhume.
She tells me that she wanted to settle down in Goa, that she loves it like any other Goan will love Goa, that she wanted to give back to her country and to her motherland Goa. But she says that her husband has decided that there is no future for them in Goa, especially because they cannot see Goa's politics of destruction abating unless Goa is destroyed totally and completely and that he has given her 4 years before they return back lock stock and barrel to U.S. and Denver/Colorado. The interesting thing is that she tells me that she wanted to start a training centre at the GMC, immunology, as she practices it being a new subject and very effective. But she is facing a dead wall there as there is absolutely no co-operation given to her. Instead, she says she has started classes free of cost at GMC on her own and that it is the best thing that she can do.
When I told her that she should review her decision to leave Goa for Good, especially because there is GSRP which can and will turn Goa's governance around 180 degrees in a short span of time, she was very skeptical. I give it to you, she says, that you people are sincere, but once any political party comes to power, the power goes to its head. She gave me quiet an example of the BJP and Manohar Parrikar to shut me up venturing further. All I could tell her is that GSRP is built differently and have promised to give her the Party's Road Map for Goa and its Constitution to go through so that she understands that GSRP mean business with the Party always positioning itself between the people and its government, where the government will be the Party's driver to take it wherever it wants to go as according to the wishes of the people.
She smiled a sweet smile and said "we shall see"
btw: Dr. Anita tests for all of 22 allergies (Foods & funguses) on the forearms within a span of an hour. Her charges are, as expected, quite steep too. I have invested in Dr. Anita because of the proven results elsewhere in the family with chronic problems.

One, only one correction in this diatribe, please.
South Mumbai MP Milind Deora was constantly moving around the troubled areas. Not that I am a big fan of his or Congress for that matter, but you should appreciate the guts of that man. He got married just a month ago and could have jolly well hidden in the Ghaghra of his wife, but instead he was with his constituents through out this ordeal and I believe his vehicle was also shot at by the terrorists who had hijacked the police jeep. As long as we have such young fearless politicians among us there is still a flicker of hope for our political system.
It would be nice if you could let this fact be known to all your friends on your mailing list.

When 60 hours of firing and carnage was going on in Mumbai, regrettably not a single elected representative either from Mumbai or Delhi showed his presence near the places where this carnage was taking place though thousands of ordinary Mumbaikars bravely stood there without fearing for their life in solidarity with the hostages and fighting commandos and also to support them physically, in case of necessity. It was a pity during the 60 hours of agony in Mumbai none of the politicians from Mumbai either from the Government or from the Opposition appeared near the trouble spots and showed his solidarity with the hostages nor with our fighting Commandos and Police force. There was none during this entire period from BJP’s cadre who demolished Babri Masjid. There was none in Mumbai during those tragic 60 hours from Hindu fanatics who was on mad rampage to trouble and kill innocent peace loving Christians in the recent anti-Christian campaign. I am ashamed of Shiv Sena’s army of cowards headed by their shameless leaders who not only kept total silence during this carnage but also remained totally enveloped themselves in their residential places. Shiv Sena and its leaders the Thackarys are fit only to frighten the unarmed non-Maharastrians. They had no marbles in their pants and dhotis to brave the terrorists and their bullets. People in Mumbai and other parts of India should know who their real leaders are. Those leaders who during the time of crisis hide themselves under the “gagra” of their wives are not true leaders but traitors. These are the traitors who are ruling India and so long the country is in their hands India will always be the target of terrorists and Pakistanis.
