Seen in the photo is the late Joe FernandesI, Fidelis Fernandes from Colva along with my wife and children express my deep regret over the sudden and shocking death of our friend and colleague Joe Fernades yesterday at Mangalore while undergoing an operation for Bypass surgery.
Joe Fernandes and myself we together shared best of moments during many of our activities for the cause of Goa, Goan community, cultural and sporting programmes and also during the fund collection campaign for the construction of Colva Church Hall in Goa. Joe Fernandes was sincere and dedicated in his decisions to help social and charitable causes especially for the causes of Colva villagers in Kuwait and in Goa since a long time now. In his sudden death we lost a good colleague and a friend, Goan community lost a dedicated lover of Goan causes, sports world lost a great sports lover especially the soccer and Colvakars in Kuwait and in Goa lost one of the strong activists.
May the soul of Joe Fernades Rest In Peace and may the Heavenly God give courage to his wife and both the daughters to bear this colossal loss.
