MALALA.
This is in connection with the teenage Pakistani girl Malala who was shot from close range by the Pakistani Taleban last week to prevent her from campaigning for the spread of the female education. She as per the available information is still in critical condition undergoing treatment in the hospital in Pakistan. I pray to God to save her life to allow her to carry on with her mission.
Malala is not only a female young girl but more than that Malala is an ideology, she is a movement based on great ideology. By shooting her and even killing her will not stop her movement because it is already on the move. Taleban and her adversaries may think with her eradication and liquidation her campaign may come to an end. On the contrary her campaign will be carried forward more vigorously by all her colleagues and followers who subscribe to Malala’s ideology. And in Pakistan there is no dearth of such followers. The entire Pakistan is behind her and her movement. This is very admirable.
A few moments before the final act, the great Greek Philosopher Socrates in ancient Greece holding the cup of Hemlock in his hand told the then Greek authority that “if you think by liquidating me from this planet you will be able to silence my voice? No! Never! Never you will be able to do that. After my death people in Greece will investigate why Socrates was killed! Then they will know the truth that Scrates was killed because he was speaking right and campaigning for the good cause of the society. And then these people will be fighting for the cause that Socrates was promoting in such a strong manner that you will not be able to stop them. They will campaign for my ideology more powerfully where you will be helpless to stop them”, then Socrates swallowed the Hemlock from that cup and died as per the verdict of the authority of his time.
This is exactly what will happen in Pakistan and signs of this happening are already visible everywhere. Since the shooting of Malala, Pakistan is gripped with Mala ideology. Every female student in Pakistan is become conscious of her right to education. So also every Pakistani citizen is become aware of mischief of Taleban who propagates that Western education is anti-Islam. Islam is not the religion of Easterners only, it is the religion of Westerners also and in the West there are innumerable Muslims propagating and following Islam, many of them more strongly than many of the Eastern Muslims. Precisely because of this, over a century back one Muslim Scholar, Imam Mohammed Abdo when he went to the West he remarked thus “I see Islam in the West but not Muslims while in the East I see Muslim but not Islam”.
Once again I reiterate my admiration for Islam which is a great religion having innumerable followers all over the world. I believe in Islam as I believe in all the great religions that preaches the doctrine of Love and Peace.
