REQUIEM MASS FOR THE SOUL OF
THE LATE CAROL COELHO.
Tomorrow Thursday 24th May 2007, at 7.15 P.M., at Holy Family Cathedral, Kuwait City, there will be a Requiem Mass for the soul of the late Carol Coelho who died in a tragic car accident on 21st of this month, in Kuwait.
On behalf of myself I send my deepest sympathies to Carol’s husband and my friend Cosme Coelho and their two beloved children Crystal and Creighton.
First time I met Carol was 2 ½ years back and then and there I realized that she was a kind hearted person. My colleague John Santano Fernandes was attending that time Goa Day Function at Funaitees. When Carol and Cosme without knowing John brought him and his wife and daughter into their car, John on the way suddenly got a massive heart attack. Having no option, they drove him to Adnan Hospital where Carol with the assistance of her husband Cosme completed all the hospital formalities and got my colleague John admitted into the hospital. It was something unimaginable for an ordinary person to fathom Carol’s and Cosme’s kindness towards a person whom they never knew and yet they volunteered to help him. Carol proved to be a real “Bom Samaritan” along with her equally kind hearted husband Cosme. It is a pity such people die so early. God alone knows the sacred of such deaths.
Tomorrow 24th of May 2007, Carol and Cosme were to celebrate their 25th Wedding Anniversary in one of the Star Hotels in Kuwait. Preparations were already in progress and she was waiting for the big day tomorrow. But, unfortunately the much awaited TOMORROW NEVER CAME. This great Tomorrow abruptly disappeared from this planet on the day before yesterday only leaving behind Cosme wifeless and both their children motherless. Will they get Carol back again? Never!!
According to the information available from the family circle, Carol body will be flown to Mumbai for the funeral.
May heavenly God give Carol eternal peace in His Kingdom and may the same eternal God give courage to Cosme and both the children to bear this colossal loss.
A. Veronica Fernandes,
Kuwait.
