Bravo anthony veronica,

Your excellent article on "great goan footballers of the ast".

Im referring to the cool and calm goan great footballer who was playing as forward named ANDREW DSOUZA. For the Rovers Cup in Bombay at Cooperage Football Ground, all Bombay football lovers, Goans and all other communities used to adore and admire him for his cool and calm football playing tricks. He was very tricky and accurate shooter, when the ball reached in the goal mouth.

He was always a scorer in the tournament all around in India and in Goa.. He started his carrer of playing for Vasco Club and retired also from the same club. Still people are talking about him in Goa and elewhere. I salute him for his beautiful and tricky game plans.

I also thank you good man for reminding us by writing this article Great Goan Footballers of Goa. You make our reading very interesting. We in Dubai anxiously waiting for your postings in goa.kranti which is a force to reckon with. Keep up the excellent work of writing excellently on excellent topics of which type no other Goan writer does.

Regards Joaquim,
Dubai - UAE.

Your death occurred so suddenly
We still can’t believe it’s true
But we try to live & accept
Such deaths are given to few.

A light from our household is gone
Your vacant place hurts us
With memories of you
It will take the rest of our lives
To forget the day we lost you

Requiem Mass for the soul of our beloved John Henry Noronha
will be offered at the Holy Family Cathedral, Kuwait City
on 30th March 2009 at 7.15pm.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.
And let Your Perpetual Light shine upon him.
May his soul rest in Peace.
