Subject: [Goanet] Builder Aboobakr Shaikh now targets Cansaulkars and Village Panchayat!
First it was Churchill Alemao supporting mega builders at Carmona and now it is Mauvin Godinho who is supporting a mega project at Cansaulim, both these politicians are working against the very people that elected them to power. Both have been using their political clout and their muscle power to intimidate the objecting locals. The motive behind these charades, in both cases is mighty obvious. It only goes to show how ungrateful these damn politicians are, it looks like they don’t mind taking on the locals, in their bid to support the illegalities of their benefactors, it sure as hell shows that they do not care for the locals and their votes, as both these politicians have been backstabbing the locals at every opportunity, it looks like Goan votes mean nothing to them, just as their chieftain Ali Baba had said that he doesn’t need our votes.
It’s a shame that we Goans keep on electing such renegade politicians, despite knowing fully well their inclination towards corruption and their inefficacies. Our politicians are out to destroy Goa, and do so unabated and with furry and we like jackasses allow them to do what they like, when they like and as they like. Is it not our moral responsibility to confront these ungrateful idiots ? If we have put them in power, we can also strip them of the power that we bestowed onto them. This stooge called Aboobakr Shaikh, how long has he been acting like he owns Cansaulim ? Scoundrels like him are certainly well protected by other like minded scoundrels, we all know that the birds of the same feathers flock together and they need each other for survival. Now it is up to us if we want to let these disgraceful buccaneers carry on their carefully cogitated sorties on the lives of the locals to reap in, rich dividends from their benefactors for themselves.
Our politicians drowned in the very din of corruption, do not hear the screams of Goans, it looks like we have no voice, our screams are silently, our whoops inaudibly, nobody is listening to the misery of the common man. The current realities have become overbearing and the agendas our corrupt politicians do not seem to be synonymous at all but infact contrary to the legitimate concerns and goals of Goa and Goans and yet our Government has the audacity to call itself the Government of the Aam Aadmi ! Is our Government deaf and blind not to see the misery that is mired around or hear the cries of the disgruntled and peeved people of Goa ? Why goons like Aboobakr Shaikh who is an outsider, are calling the shots in Goa today, intimidating and threatening local Goans ?
We should be ashamed of ourselves, for letting this happen in Goa. This reminds me of the story of the Arab in a tent and his camel, I am sure most of us have heard the story one time or the other, where the camel first asks the Arab to let it’s nose stay under the shade of the tent as it was very cold outside, then the camel asks the Arab to allow it’s head and neck and the Arab out of pity allows, when finally the whole camel itself takes over the tent and the Arab is pushed out in the cold and out of his own tent. We have certainly allowed these goons in our Goan tents and now they have taken over and we are being pushed out of our very own Goan tent. If things do not change, and change fast we will have to live in constant fear of these goons and their patrons, while our corrupt politicians with the help of their benefactors and their goons sell Goa to the highest bidder, making us and treating us like foreigners in our own land and as the saying goes we will be not of the house nor of the street, dangling in limbo.
Wake up Goans.
