IS EVERYTHING OK IN GOA IN MINISTRY FORMATION?

Is everything going ok in Goa with regards to the formation of the Ministry and the other aspects because I think important work is kept pending since the last 3 months when somewhere in January this year as per the system, the Code of Conduct was introduced. Is it allowed to delay for such a long time now after the results of the election was already declared? However when last time during those few turbulent days, only 2-3 days there was heavy demand on the Congress to submit its list to the Governor for the formation of Ministry. Compared to 2-3 days of last time now it is about 10 long days where the BJP is allowed to sleep over the list of its Ministry. I feel in view of this, such a long delay by the BJP, if it is fair as per the law, Congress should submit its list immediately with the acquisition of few more purchasable MLA's thru the ingenuity of my friend Micahel Lobo who is expert in this field. There was expectation in the Michael Lobo circle that due to his expertise he indicated 5 years back, Lobo will again do something similar and help his Congress Party to form the ministry. People in general and BJP's in particular are eagerly awaiting the formation of ministry. They too are fed-up of waiting for such a long period. Is this such a long delay in the formation of delay is constitutionally permissible? Or Governor who is the symphatiser of BJP is playing the dirty trick of using the delay to mame this delaying tactics work for the benefit of BJP? If this delaying tackitcs are unconstitutional then Governor should be heavily reprimanded. This can be a one more reason to facilitate the BJP to bring Goa under its total control. ELECTION RESULTS AS EXPECTED.

As expected the results of the election favouring BJP to form its Ministry is confirmed. However, I feel pity for the voters of Congress because most of them were sincere to the Congress but unfortunately Congress is not serious to protect the interest of its followers. Gone were the days when Congress Party was manned by the giants of those days but now sadly Congress Party is lacking not only in giants but even an ordinary office boy in its administration. After the last debacle 5 years back, Congress mysteriously accepted lying down the betrayal of its 10 defectors without creating the necessary uproar, both the headquarters of Congress at Delhi and Panjim were almost dumb thus sending the message to all the Congressmen and its supporters that this very same Congress party once was a giant killers is now turned into a pale shadow of its former glory. There is no point in taking pleasure in highlighting the greatness of its yesteryear leaders in whose absence there is not a single leader in it to revive its functioning. In view of this pathetic situation will I make a mistake if I say R.I.P. Congress at least in Goa? It is not enough for Congress Chief in Goa, Girish Chodoncar to accept the defeat and resign but more than anything else he should be castigated for continuously saying till the last minute that Congress is heading for the victory. Why this fooling or was he so ignorant not to read the writings on the walls? DAMIAO FROM CANDOLIM ORDA SPEAKS.

One of the popular persons from Candolim Bardez Goa is Damiao Telles a firebrand from the Orda St.Sebastiao Vaddo. He creates havoc during the Gram Sabah Meets organized by Candolim Panchyat being very vocal in pointing out mistakes of the village rulers. Because of his being vocal there he bares the weakness of the Panchayat body which it looks like manned by some of the weak persons who are elected there by some of the double weak voters. This Panchayat in their mischievous doings detrimental to the betterment of the village and villagers is exposing its misdeeds because Candolim is now inhabited by some of the stupid people otherwise Candolim is known to produce great people, this village of mine known as Caandolim is known to give birth to the greatest man of his type of this planet named Abe Faria and the Pintos’ Revolutionaries who created the Pintos Revolt against the Portuguese rule in Goa about 300 years back. Because of his fighting for jusice in the village, some miscreants even put fire to his house incurring him into heavy losses. Since sometime now, he is running his shop at the Candolim Beach Park area, some people are accusing him of not taking active part in the local affairs by being a bit silent as some people in the locality feels that by giving him the said Shop local Panchayat kept his mouth shut. But, Damiao flatly refused this accusation. There is no favour in allotting this Shop to Damiao because it is rightly given to him because this Shop was reserved for the handicapped and since Damiao falls in this category he was given rightly to him, this is as per my information. Meantime, Damiao said he will go on doing the same type of campaign against injustice meted to our villagers `without any fear or softness. ILLEGAL HILL CUTTING IN CANDOLIM.

In the picture going viral in the last fortnight where the Commentator explained with the piercing words how the one non- Goan, in connivance with the local Panchayat as it was said by the Commentator, goes on Hill cutting to erect constructions without any required legal documents as it was given to understand, at Orda St. Sebastiao Vaddo, Candolim, Bardez. Yet according to one more source, the local Panchayat instead of taking action on the culprit not only in this case but many other cases too is insisting that cases to be filed first and then the Panchayat proceed further. This is not correct, Panchayat can do nothing because according to the locals and as it is, the non-Goan has already purchased the authority concerned to allow him to do anything he wants. This is the trend almost all over Goa and when this is the case what good you can expect from these local leaders especially when their roots are outside Goa and they are naturalised citizens of Goa like the one we have one in our locality. According to the available information our village Panchayat is having 2 or 3 non Candoicar Panchas whose roots are outside our village and when this is the case such people do not normally work faithfully to their adopted village. Whether somebody files a complaint or not, the local Panchayat when once it comes to know that some major illegal work is going on then the local Panchayat should immediately swing into action because it is their duty to check what wrong is going on in their village. They are elected by the people to take care of their village property and other assets and not to take bribe from the locals for doing some jobs of the locals. The bribe taking by the Panchayats in Goa is going on with alarming rate and the elected members of the Panchayats are totally addicted to this vice and moreover these robbers are not even feeling guilty nor shy for that. The people in their localites must revolt against such people and the youth from the localities must rise up in revolt against all those in their villages acting for their own benefits. The youth of the locality must indicate their power of fighting for justice and those who show their dadagiri to the youth for fighting for the justice, the youth must not feel shy to give tit for tat. During my younger days when I was youthful, I never got afraid of Sarpanch nor to any of the Panchas because the locality was on my side lending me any type of support because they were convinced of my fights for the right cause of the locals. During the earlier days when Communidades were playing major role, its members would take immediate remedial steps because they were duty conscious and they were also erect in their discipline. They had best of character and education because they were coming from high calibre family backgrounId and they were genuine Goans and did not come to Goa from Ghanttar. Taking advantage of the coolness of Goans some non-locals are occupying positions in Goa in our localities and harassing us Goans. One of them is just around my shadow looting and making money, he is responsible for all the illegalities going on in his village, he is harassing the locals by applying rules to some and not to others. If he does not change himself, he may face lot of problems, the jobs of elected people in their village Panchayats are not for life, their turn is coming to give accountability of their assets they created for them when their financial empires worth much more than their income. All the eyes of the non-Goans are focussed on the Communinade Land and they want to capture by any means the Communidade Land, Hills and Mountains and Fields. Some non-Locals have already infiltraded in our Communinades also to facilitate this job of looting for them. Those Goans who are manning our Communidades should be on their toes to prevent this to happen. After talking to so many villagers every one feels that in the coming election the current team ruling in the village should be sent back home. If locals are serious then take up the preparatory work now only. It is a shame for me to know that my village leader is such an useless and stupid rot. I think people must force him to vacate his leadership if it is true that he is also the party to allow the Hill Cutting at Orda. BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARIO REBELLO.

Just three days back my friend and a colleague in every movement I initiated from Kuwait, Mario Rebello from Panjim celebrated his birthday. Though belatedly but rightly I wish him A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY and all the Heavenly blessings on him. While wishing him a very happy birthday, let me write something on one of the pillars of Goan community in Kuwait who has done lot of good work for the cause of Goans. He came to Kuwait and worked there for over 30 years where he was very successful on the job in a reputed Oil Company where he worked as a Purchasing Manager from where he voluntarily retired a few years back to settle down in Goa permanently. As one of the top Executives in one of the top oil companies he travelled many parts of the world including China. His greatest asset is his pristine Goan nature where faithfulness, sincerity and truthfulness were the attributes of his Goanness which are sadly lacking in nowadays at least in many of the Goans. After completing his studies in Mechanical Engineering and then landing in Kuwait, many persons approached him to join their social organisations since he was known in Goa before coming to Kuwait as a man of social causes but instead he did not join any. After observing carefully, he opted to join the KUWAIT KONKNNI KENDR where he performed the last task as the general secretary. He joined KKK and worked so hard to perform its activities that his contribution in KKK is worth admiring. A silent worker for the cause of Goa and Goans he helped many Goans in getting them the jobs at different places, he helped financially but silently persons suffering from financial problems, he brought honour for KKK by performing excellent work in the field of spread of Konkani. During the invasion of Kuwait he was of tremendous help for us Goans to form and promote the Goa – Kuwait Solidarity Centre Movement and his contribution in this movement was of immense help to us. After the liberation of Kuwait he also joined Goan Kuwait Goan Welfare Society where his contribution was laudable. However, his contribution for the cause of Konkani thru his long time association with KKK was of tremendous importance. Let me wish him all the best. A.Veronica Fernandes.

THE REVOLUTIONARY GOANS PARTY

Hello everybody, I was deeply impressed yesterday when three members namely Prakash K., Lawrenco and the Calangute Constituency candidate Francis Gonsalves of .the Revolutionary Goans Party came to our side entering every house in our locality to say THANK YOU to everyone for his/her unconditional love, support, blessings and prayers to the Revolutionary Goans Party in the just concluded election for the Goa Legislative Assembly. They said they were deeply touched by the support of the people and based on it the RGP contested the said election. Irrespective of the outcome of the counting on 10th of this month, they thr RGP said their revolution will be carried forward for which people will support them. In the beginning they did not carry the people’s backing for them in a big number but gradually with the strong power of the powerful oratory of their leader Manoj Parab, they changed their outlook in totality thereby creating an impression that Manoj Parab possessed the gift of Zulficar Ali Bhutto of Pakistan when he single handedly raised his Pakistan People Party. In fact Bhutto proved to be excellently powerful public speaker and by his sheer tongue of impressing the public he became the world famous public speaker. I mention his name to equate Manoj Parab because Manoj Parab is also a one man team of his party capable of lifting his party to the pedestal starting from zero level. What we need in Goa now is to change the corrupt system going on in Goa and for this change they (RGP) will do their best to bring about this change. First change we must bring in the LIBERATION OF GOA. On 19th December 1961 Goa was not liberated by the rubbish Bahrat, instead Goa on that day was INVADED by Nehru’s Congress and made us Goans as slaves in Bharat. Twice in Fifties Nehru told one in the Parliament and the other in Bombay during the public meeting organized for the Goans to make them known what will be the policy of Bharat towards Goa when once Portuguese is ousted from Goa. Said Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the Premier of India “ We in our Bahrat we do not covet Goa for us, we are not interested even on one inch of Goa, our Bharat is a vast country and your tiny Goa is like a small peck on the face of Bahrat. In our neighbourhood we do not want the presence of a foreign power which we want to uproot first. Once your Goa is rid of foreign power we will not bring you by using our force or tact towards us meaning Bahrat but we will give you all the freedom either to stay separately with all your attributes or you can join Bahrat”. Ultimately what has happened? Was our promised freedom given to us? No! Why No? because Nehru, India and Indian leaders are first class liars, Nehru fooled not only for us but he fooled the entire world for which he was humiliated by most of the then World leaders mainly by the US President John F. Kennedy. The Congress culture is the culture of Chor and invaders. Some of the Northern belt states of India plus other States were acquired by Bharat with harsh means, in India overwhelming majority of Indians don’t want to live under the Bharati banner. You must be knowing how Hyderabad was forcibly annexed by Bharat. So will we be able to acquire genuine Liberation for our Goa the way India got it to Bangladesh? India liberated East pakistan from West pakistan and handed over the sovereignity of East Pakistan to Bangladesh. Why in a simular manner Goa was not given in our hands? It is fake argument by Bharat of Nehru to say Goa is a part of Bahrat. Rubbish, Goa was never a part of rubbish Bahrat. Think over it carefully. A.Veroica Fernandes.
