NEW CD "VISVAXI LEADER" RELEASED BY JERRY CAL.

                                   

As scheduled and in a well organized function compered beautifully by Salvador Silveira and attended by his close friends, colleagues and relatives, well known Konkani singer Jerry Cal from Calangute released his much awaited CD “VISVAXI LEADER” thru the hands of Fr. Gregory the Pe. Kopelaum of Our Lady of Piety, Khobravaddo, Calangute. Before the release of the CD, a small  prayer was conducted invoking the blessings on this CD and also on Jerry Cal  for the success of this CD in the market since Jerry Cal has spent a lot of money to arrange this wonderful CD.

To release such an excellent CD is not a joke, it costs lot of money and when immediately its songs go to the UTube thru the most disgraceful people who do the disservice to the intiator of this CD, then it becomes a burden to sell this CD. Once it is in UTube, those who want to buy this CD will not buy because they will get easy access to listen and see this CD thru UTube.  Because of this the one who produces this CD will go into heavy losses because of lack of sale for his CD.  In view of this,  the singers will not go for CD’s and Konkani  Albums.  The one who goes to UTube to upload this CD as if it is his father’s property, he commits a big mistake by taking liberty of the property of other person.  And if that rascal is a Christian then he commits a sacrilege in front of God. Such sinners should be sent not to the gallows but should be crucified.

This CD Visvaxi Leader is already in the market ans pieced at Rs.150/-.

It is hoped that greater number of Goans especially those who are involved in this fields such as of Tiatros, songs, music and Goan culture should be ready to purchase  this CD and not to wait for somebody to borrow from him or to expect like a beggar from the producer like a shameless “bikari” inspite of having  so  much of money. I have seen in the past so many the so called financially affluent third class Goenkar waiting for the free gift of such Albums.  They neither have shame nor dignity to lower themselves to the level of “KOCHRO” to commit such a beggary when they can afford.  In this way, how they will help the development and promotion of Konkani?

The releasing ceremony was organized at his Guest House “Jerrissa” at Khobravaddo Calangute.  After releasing the CD, his longtime friend and cousin brother of his wife, A.Veronica Fernandes, speaking to the gathering described Jerry’s background especially his youth when they both as students of St. Joseph’s High School, Arpora, Bardez, the first English High School of Goa where he laid the foundation stone of his Tiatrical art and then conquering the ambient villages as one of the best Tiatrists.  Veronica highlighted on the special skill of Jerry’s genius in composing songs on best of topics with marvelous contents and excellent rhymings.  Then Veronica further said that his friend Jerry Cal has reached to the pinnacle of arranging best of songs of which type very few professional Tiatrists can do, should utilise his God given talent  to produce more such CD’s because he still looks raw in body and mind.  Besides, the compeer Salvador Silveira who is also singing in this CD and moreover being one of the best composers of Konkani songs, assured his help in the next CD’s.  Others also requested Jerry Cal not to put an end to this chain of Konkani Albums which as on now reached to THREE.
