On 8th of
this month, in Candolim at Saipem, at 8.30 PM instead of at 7.30 PM, I saw the Tiatro “TENSION” written and directed
by one of the best directors Pal Soares.
In fact this is an excellent Tiatro with excellent story played by excellent
artistes though all of them were not heavy weight. This is the 15th
Tiatro of Pal Soares.
Rarely such stories are
written but Pal Soares is also a rare director to select such a rare topic because of which many communal
disputes are arising. By seeing this Tiatro
we can get good lesson to maintain peace.
Because of shifting of a Cross from one location to other we need not
create dispute and tension leading to disaster, this is what Pal Soares
indicated in this Tiatro. Religious signs and symbols and places should help us
to create love and peace and not discord and hatred – this is what Pall Soare
also tells us in this Tiatro which was very beautifully enacted.
Full marks to seasoned
artiste and charming Jessica whose presence on the stage easily charms the
audience. She did justice to her role
and she was very ably supported as her mother by Ivon Fernandes who shouldered
heavy pressure of this Tiatro along with Jessica. Both these young ladies were like the
backbone of this Tiatro. Among others who
also did play their roles well were Hogle, Cruz Pinto, Joe and Riza.
The Side Show songs
though lacked the heavy punch yet the songs rendered by Pal Soares, Jessica &
Ivon, Camilo, Natasha and Joe deserve heavy compliments.
The one sorrowful Canto
rendered by Jessica was the most precious one, the composition was the best,
the tune was the best and style of singing was also the best. It was thru such Cantos, M. Boyer elevated Antonette
Mendes to the pedestal, so did Pal Soares to Jessica in this Tiatro.
Congratulations to Pal
Soares and to his entire troupe.
