I wish to express my appreciation for the inspiring article on my late father, Carlos da Cruz. I also have to point out here that the third child was named after Nehru's mother, Swarup and the fourth after Lenin. I the sixth child have been named "Indio", which according to Portuguese grammar, is the masculine of "India".

In the last para, A. Veronica Fernandes thanks Valmiki Faleiro for writing on Goa's Freedom Fighter, Carmo, while the concerned article refers to my late father, Carlos da Cruz. Please clarify if it is a typographical error or it actually refers to Carmo and not Carlos.
Further, the third child was named after Nehru's mother, Swarup and the fourth after Lenin. Incidentally, I the sixth child was named "Indio" which is the masculine for "India".

GULF GOANS CUP 2010 IN DUBAI.
FINAL COUNTDOWN FOR ‘’GULF GOANS CUP 2010 IN DUBAI. U.A.E
AVC – Kuwait in association with Festa Entertainments Dubai are proud to announce the first ever ‘’ GULF GOANS CUP 2010 ‘’ Football tournament to be held in Dubai on 10th September 2010. The tournament will be held on a 7 a side format starting at 9 am in the morning and the matches will take place at the famous Iranian Stadium in Karama Dubai.
24 Goan teams from all over the Middle East will participate in the day long tournament and will be covered live on internet and local newspapers.
The draw will be held on 3rd September 2010 in Dubai and the same will be published on the local newspapers besides internet forums. The countdown of this event is being promoted on Dubai’s famous Goan FM channel Radio Goa.
Watch out shortly on this forum the names of the teams taking part in this event as the final countdown begins.
