Dear Anthony Veronica.
Nice for reminding of the sad n black day in kuwait, 2nd AUGUST 1990. When i heard this news my first thougth came in my mind that is, you ANTHONY VERONICA may be in problem in kuwait. Then immediately i tried to call you but there was no reply from your side. Really veronica i was so upset about the news n even i called Goa to find out about you n other my friends, what they are suffering in kuwait. I know you all suffered a lot but after seven months you n others returned to work in kuwait. I know during the invasion you Kuwait evacuees were mocked by many and especially by those who received your donations and help financial but God was with you and with Kuwait. Never forget Kuwait and its leadership. Because of Kuwait and Gulf we Goans made lot of developments. Pray for Kuwait's security.
You must be remembering veronica i composed a nice song on invasion, your donations to Goa and how you Kuwait Goans helped so many people and how they stabbed you when Iraq invaded Kuwait. This song I sang in Remmie J. Colaco's Tiatro in many parts of Goa and also in Rosary Ferns Tiatro and how people liked it. The title of the song KUWAITCHE GOENKAR. Even M. Boyer and Remmie hugged me tightly for this song while the rest of the artistes congratulated me.
Once again Veronica Bravo for your Socond Augaust article and keep on writing like this so that memory of this date is not erased.
Your writings have made goa.Kranti a force to reckon with.
Mog assundhi.
