INDIAN GOALKEEPER SUBRATA PAL DISGRACED INDIA.

Indian Goakeeper Subrata Pal

Within a period of 5 minutes, 2 penalties with 2 Red Cards were awarded against India during the soccer match between India and UAE played in Abu Dhabi on 24th of this month. It was a qualifying round match for the next World Cup. With the current irresponsibly lethargic rate of development of soccer in India, I can confidently say that India will never qualify for the World Cup Tournament, especially when we prepare and field a team such as we fielded this time against UAE under the irresponsible Goan Team Manager Armando Colaco. The first penalty awarded against India by the Qatari Referee was appropriate but surely not the Red Card given to the Indian deep defender. It was too much for a too simple infringement in too early time after starting the game.

However the second penalty awarded within 5 minutes was absolutely deserving and more than that the Red Card given to Indian keeper Subrata Pal who was not doing the job of goalkeeping but that of a criminal. He is the killer of Dempo’s Brazilian Christiano Junior 6 years back in the Federation Cup tournament played in Bangalore and the same thing he wanted to do again for the UAE forward when he holding the ball in his hands went charging the UAE forward with his folded knee. Good that the knee did not exactly hit the private part of UAE forward otherwise there would have been 2nd murder committed by this Indian murderer goalkeeper Subrata Pal after the first murder of Dempo’s Brazilian Christiano.Junior.

After receiving the Red Card, Subrata Pal with his aggressive body language was reluctant to leave the field like a "Dada" and during these few moments of his Tamasha doing, his body gestures and facial appearance depicted his image that of a ruffian and criminal. This man and his likes got dirty habit in Calcutta to act and play rough. What ruffianism they do in India they want to repeat outside India as well. But outside Indian soccer is controlled by international umpires and officials. UAE is not Calcutta and not India. By this rude and rough behaviour in Abu Dhabi against the local players, Subrata Pal created a very bad image of India and Indians in UAE where thousands and thousands Indians are earning their sustenance. To work there peacefully they require strong goodwill of the locals which is going to be surely affected due to the misbehaviour of one Indian ruffian Subrata Pal the disgraceful keeper of Indian national team. He forgot that he was also an Ambassador of India on the field and instead acted like a murderer.

In Nineteen Thirties in Australia due to the attrocious Bodyline Bowling by the visiting English player Larwood created havoc with the top players of the host country, its ugly result apeared outside the stadium for a long time when English people were hated by the Australians everywhere in Australia.

After the match between India & UAE one UAE national I met and he asked me "Are you Indians so rude?" I replied we Goans are totally different from these hardcore Bharatis telling him further how Subrata Pal killed our own Goa registered Brazilian player playing for Goan outfit Dempo.

Armando Colaco the team manager of India must own the responsibility of the entire fiasco that took place during this match and "get out" from his post. He failed to discipline his team especially the criminal Subrata Pal who first of all deserve no place in Indian squad after killing Goan player Christiano Junior. By the way is Armando Colaco really fit to be the manager of Indian squad and if yes on what basis? What was his soccer qualification as a coach? It is not enough to have long experience as Dempo’s coach. Dempo is local outfit and can such kindergarten man run the show of India? Armando Colaco is not Backenbeur nor Indian Naeemuddin. Armando Colaco proved to be a big failure by applying Goan butler’s management which is ok for Dempo. Because of his weak and indiscipline management Indian squad failed not only the Indian soccer team but more than that India and Indians in UAE who are now scorned by the locals.

The great Brazilian footballer Rivelino of 1970 -74 Brazilian squad besides being a very fine player was also a very aggressive hard tackler and retaliation was his forte. But with the heavy warning from his Team Manager against retaliation even for faulty hard tackle against him, he was firmly controlled and because of this strict disciplinary check on his retaliatory attitude not only he dished out attractive soccer but he also helped Brazil to dish out most attractive soccer thus gaining enormous goodwill for Brazil from all around the globe. This happened only because of the super skill of Manager to control the temper of his player. While our Armando Colaco failed and he failed miserably. As a Goan, I am ashamed of his failed managership.

Finally, according to the latest news circulating, with the blessing of Armando Colaco, Dempo is trying to seek the services for their team of that criminal Subrata Pal. If it happens, then the Goans not only the supporters of Dempo but all Goans should boycott Dempo. We don’t want on our soil a criminal who killed our Goan player. Goans must join together and revolt against Armando Colaco and Dempo Sports Club.
