Gone were the days when India and every Indian political party produced gigantic leaders whose influence was not only confined to a particular region or area of India but touched to every part of India. They were born leaders for this reason they challenged the might of mighty British Empire in India. They were very wisdomatic people having devotion for their ideals and principles with hunger not for looting the country, not for making money for them and for their generations to come but they had hunger for the development of India and Indians especially of the downtrodden. For this reason masses followed them and kissed not only their feet but even their every word. Precisely because of this Indians listened to the voices of their leaders on Radio transmitted from one end to the other.
When Gandhiji was speaking from North people in the South were glued to the media to see with rapt attention what “guruji” was saying. When Rajaji was speaking from South, Indians from North were listening to him with admiration. When Nehru was speaking from Delhi Indians from entire South, East and West were listening to his every word on radio sets attentively. When Jay Prakash Narain was speaking from Patna people from all over India were following his command for the total revolution in India. And even when Indira Gandhi was speaking from Delhi the entire India was listening to her speeches with rapt attention.
Those were the leaders who never tried to loot the nation to fill their personal coffers. When Lal Bahadur Shastri died as a Prime Minister of India it was officially declared that in his Bank account there were only one hundred and some plus rupees. Because of this after his sudden death at Tashkent in Soviet Russia his wife Lalitha, the humble wife of the great, the late Premier of India lived a very simple life and for which she had no regret either since she and her husband they have both devoted their life for the nation building and not for nation looting for building their financial empire.
Now regretfully we don’t have in India patriotic leaders of national stature. We have all regional and domestic leaders who are big looters and crooks. Because they have mastered the science and art of fooling their regional people to amass wealth for them and for their generations they prefer to concentrate their political influence around their own domestic regions.
Currently our regional and domestic leaders are taking India towards regionalism and these same regional leaders one day will openly and forcefully demand independence from India for their own regions and States. Though constitutionally Center is strong in India yet the regional leaders are going to become assertive of their rights to be free from the domination of Delhi and entirely get rid of the Union either peacefully or forcefully the way Kashmiris are doing. For the Indian national leaders from Delhi to control such a vast and complex country India is very difficult. The current national leaders from Delhi cannot understand the genuine problems and desires of rural Indians and Indians from the States. Indians at States level are not happy with the Centre’s “Dadagiri” of dictating terms to the States and as such it looks the Centre has colonised the States.
There is not even federalism in India because India is not a Federation but Quasi Federation in which system States are made to surrender some of their important privileges to the Centre constitutionally and thus became slaves of the Centre. I think for States to enjoy better freedom India should be converted into Confederation of States now only before there is a revolt in all States for total independence just as Kashmiris are clamouring.
God forbid and it is not my wish either, but India will surely split into pieces either today or tomorrow or the day after tomorrow just as Soviet Russia and its communists block countries in Europe splitted in 1990 -1991. Who ever thought in 1991 Soviet Russia such a mighty super power having deadly Atomic and Hydrogen Arsenals in its possession will split into pieces paving the way to free the forcibly annexed States by Soviet Russia earlier? For about 80 years Soviet Russia with iron fist under its communism kept their people’s desires suppressed and finally people’s aspirations were realised. This is a lesson for the leaders to know that genuine aspirations of the people cannot be kept under bondage indefinitely.
India is a rich country but inhabited by poor people and these overwhelming majority of Indians kept poor by the few politicians who usurp the county’s wealth illegally for them only. Seeing this loot the young generation feel disgusted and disappointed. They are fed up of independent India for this reason they opt for European Passports to migrate to the West to earn more and to have a better life. They are convinced that in India by being straight in life they cannot come up in life, they are convinced that they can come up in life only be cheating and looting which is against their conscience for this reason they prefer to migrate to the West.
The young generation in India is very much disappointed to see the Indian leaders and their relatives are looting the nation’s wealth for themselves only, otherwise this huge wealth is meant for the distribution ad consumption of all the Indians. This is the reason why in India we have only a few rich and all others are poor even though India is a rich country having lot of wealth which unfortunately cornered by the very few politicians. These politicians are so corrupt that they don’t even want to amend the laws to arrest the looters and culprits. Congressmen are the worst looters and since independence they are looting the wealth of the country for them and for their generations. For this reason they are very happy that Gandiji was shot dead otherwise he will never allow them to loot the country.
To raise their voices against this corrupt system there is not a single leader in India and in the absence of this Congress Party brought in a political kid Rahul Gandhi who is still in the political Kindergarten. Just because he belongs to Nehru family he is hoisted on the Congress party and from there he will be hoisted on to the nation. India is not Congress Party and Rahul Gandhi is not the choice of Indians to rule India. He will fail the nation and the aspirations of all Indians. He is immature kid and those senior Congressmen who hoisted him on top of their shoulders are first class “Chamchas”. India is in the hands of wrong persons under Congress Party.
Congress is bad no doubt but BJP is worst and because it is so BJP is foisting on to the nation a communal Hitler from Gujarat, Narendra Modi who is unwanted in the civilised West because he committed crimes against Muslims in his State, these crimes were somewhat like extermination of Muslims from India just like what Hitler did for the Jews in Germany.
Both Rahul Ghandi and Narendra Modi belonging to the two major political parties will fail the nation and the aspirations of the millions in India. In view of this, who will lead India in the right direction?
