Once again it is proved how disgusted people are become on some Tiatrists and directors and precisely because of this disgust consecutively people refused to patronize in good number earlier three Shows at Hawally A/C Hall. Last Friday on 26th of April the Tiatro of ace writer and director Roseferns turned out to be a flop attendance wise. Even performance wise according to many it was not up to the mark. Roseferns is a name and fame and for him to fail to attract the audience is something unimaginable. One of the reasons for the thin attendance was the refusal by the regular Tiatro goers as a mark of protest over Peter Roshan for his support for Parrikar in the Audio Album "Udentichem Komoll" released by the late Ullas Buyao. With this success of their protest, now many of the Tiatro goers have decided to boycott the Konkani Albums where Hortencio sings because along with Peter Roshan, Anil & Fatima, Hortencio also sings in that Album in praise of BJP. People in Kuwait especially the Tiatro goers are awakened now and they are showing their power as they did starting from Sonvstha's Show then coming to Simon Gonsalves to Anil Olga and Roseferns.
Our great enemy is BJP and in the next election we must tell all our friends, colleagues, relatives and family members not to vote for BJP candidates because BJP has already proved how anti-Christian they are. In one word we must dub BJP as anti-Christians because BJP is anti-Christian. We must know one thing that there is no greater enemy for us than BJP and those Tiatrists who support BJP are to be treated as worst enemies of Kuwait Goans who overwhelmingly are Christians. We have to protect our interest which some Tiatists are selling for the sake of financial gains. They are Judases because the way Judas sold Jesus for 30 Coins so these Tiatrists are selling the interest of Christians to BJP. Because of Peter Roshan induction in his recent Tiatro in Kuwait, the name and fame of Roseferns finally suffered. I don’t think Kuwait Goans henceforth will keep silence for the enemies of Christians and enemies of Goans.
Now it is left to Mini Mario’s “Kiteak Ho Bazar Cholta” on 11th May 2007 to revive the interest in audience to come in big number. I have full confidence that people will come in good number to watch this Tiatro on 11th May because as per the news coming out this Tiatro is worth seeing. And it was well acclaimed in Goa. From the current trend of the sale of tickets, as per the organizers, the attendance should be very good. Besides, this Tiatro is written and directed well and accepted by Goa Church and priests as educative. Even some of the pious priests recommended Catholics to see this Tiatro and learn something new which till now remained hidden from the views of the public and Catholics in particular. Earlier 25 years back John Claro created a sensation by staging his different type of Tiatro “Vinglli Nachpin” which people took it in a different sense but yet it gave some education to the Goan community when they saw on the Konkani stage what is Cabaret Dance. This was something new at that time on Konkani stage. Jean Pal Satre a world renowned novelist also give a different picture of such incidents in his novel “Respectable Prostitute” which was enacted in many countries as a drama. Mini Mario also creates something new on Konkani Stage thru “Ho Bazar Kiteak Cholta”. To attract the attention of the audience he appropriately selected the fitting roles to attractive ladies Felcy – Anna – Bushka.
Secondly I am confident that people will come in good number to watch this tiatro because the organizers of this Tiatro both Xavier from St. Cruz Goa and Manuel from Cortalim are reputed Goans without any social blot on their character. They are both married and living a decent life with their families. They are not drunkards nor womenisers but decent and because of their dignified character they are liked by the people. People are with them and that it is so they proved to everyone by attracting full house crowd to "Daddy" Tiatro a few months back. In Kuwait people come to watch Tiatro not only because of the director and other artistes but also because of the quality, calibre and character of the organizers. Taking this point into consideration, I feel confident that revival of Tiatro interest in Tiatro goers in Kuwait will be done jointly by Mini Mario, his artistes and the organizers Xavier and Manuel.
By the way, I am in no way party to the organizers but since they asked my help in providing publicity, I do it because I want the promotion of Tiatro and thru Tiatro the promotion of Konkani. And as a matter of interest whoever requests me for my assistance in this matter, I oblige.
