LET DELHI DECIDE WHAT IS TO BE DECIDED.

Yesterday’s (dated 02.04.20) Herald on its front page said that our CM advocates strong punishment for Markaz organisers, attendees, in Delhi. This was the large gathering gathered at their religious place a few days back without caring for the danger now looming over the heads of everybody in this world, the danger of Corona Virus. Attendees came as per the reports appearing even from abroad, a few of them even without proper documents and how they  escaped   from the eyes of security personnel is a big question mark.

When we in Goa struggling to get our daily bread properly, instead of looking after our affairs properly, our CM is after those  who did mischief in Delhii when in Delhi there are enough of people to look after this topic.  Secondly, where was the Delhi security and intelligence sleeping when the people gathered there in such a big number when there is curfew and even section 144?  We in Goa even curtailed our certain funeral rites to avoid gathering of Catholics during the funeral these days.  Our CM wants strong punishment for them to organize such a massive gathering but in Delhi they will go scot free because Delhi is Delhi and Goa is Goa.  Our CM must first of all just shut his mouth and look after the people of Goa. Delhi will take care of itself.  Delhi got its judiciary to mete out the proper punishment for the wrong doers there. Outsiders got no right to encroach in their area and system.

Now the major concern for us including to our CM is to find out whereabouts of some attendees in Delhi who afterward came to Goa?  They may carry the virus from Delhi gathering and thus they will spread it in Goa.  This is the major concnern for which we must all do our best to locate them. What type of people are they and what is the comment of the religious chief of that gathering? The government of India must tell them sternly not to take law into their own hands. India is not their fathers’ property to do what they want to do.

SUPPORT PAKISTANI AFRIDI'S FOUNDATION TO FIGHT AGAINST CORONA VIRUS.

This is in reference to the news item brought by Heraldo dadet 02.04.20  on “Indian Cricketers Face Backlash for supporting Pakistan Virus fund”., it should be clearly understood well that it is not the PAKISTAN virus fund but of one individual Pakistani cricketer initiated fund which was an initiative of one world renown cricketer who is the citizen of Pakistan.  Shahid Afridi as I observed him is a  gentleman without much traces of narrow parochialism. Also, I found him to be a broad minded metropolitan international thinker. However, that overwhelming majority of Indians are having in their blood “hate Pakistan – hate Pakistanis” attitude is proved once again how Indians reacted to the two Indian Cricketers support to the Pakistani Ex-Skipper Afridi’s Foundation which was established to create a fund for the Corona Virus.

I on my part, strongly support not only both the ex-renown Indian Cricketers Yuvraj Sing and Harbachan Singh for openly and boldly supporting the Afridi Foundation but I also openly support all the like minded Indians and any other citizen of any country in the world.  This is not the time to talk rubbish on sectarian terms nor it is time now to indicate our communalism.  Coruna Virus is an international issue without having any borders of its own legally, it is the humanitarian issue needing human heart to support it, it has no boundary of its own to confine itself within one’s own borders, it moves very speedily from one’s borders to the borders  of the others needing no border checks, you cannot monitor and check its movement from one country to the other country even though you may have best of supersonic surveillance Jet Planes to detect its movement but Corona Virus has  ultimately made a big joke  of all the most deadly and powerful weapons and instruments of detecting its passage from one country to the other. It does not perform its border formalities because it does not believe in documentations which are normally required for human beings at the  point of borders  crossing.  I find no reason why the Indians should not support the Foundation coming up to tackle this Virus and help humanity to overcome all the dangers looming over the entire  humanity,  out of fear emanating from its most deadly bite.
