DEFEAT "ALINA" IN CORTALIM BY-ELECTION.

With One Lollipop and Alina was captured by Parrikar. With the promise of the gift of ministerial Seat in the Goa Legislative Assembly, Alina totally forgot to fight to carry forward the legacy of her dead husband who was so opposed to Mopa Airport. She earlier said that to keep the memory of her husband alive we all should carry forward his work. One important work and mission of Mathanay Saldanha was to delete the Mopa Airport from the Goan soil. Like a dumb, Alina kept her total silence on this mission of her husband who was so vociferous in his opposition to the construction of Mopa Airport.

I had high hopes that Alina would openly show her opposition to Parrikar of Mopa Airport in tune with the wishes of her husband but finally she gave me an impression that she does not care to fulfil the mission of her husband. If she does not care to carry forward the work of her husband then how she can advise others to do so? In fact the late Mathanay displayed two selves of his life like Dr. Jackeyl and Mr. Hyde. The genuine self of his was before his marriage while after getting married to Alina he displayed his artificial self, that is second self. His non - genuine second self appeared when he joined BJP government and accepted all the legislations introduced by Parrikar against Christians and Goans. This he did only for the greed of power. Earlier he was not like this but only after getting married to Alina he lost his originality. It looks Alina had a great influencing power on her husband’s decisions. She looks more worldly and greedy for power and position for this reason she blindly acceded to Parrikar without showing her opposition to anti-Goan Mopa Airport, as per the wishes of her husband.

As per the law she will have six months to contest the by-election to fill the place of her husband in the Goa Legislative Assembly. This election may come at any time but opposition to her must be very strong possibly from one common candidate only supported by all other parties. This contest in Cortalim must come from one against the other. Cortalim is known to create a history to save Goa from disaster during the historic Opinion Poll. It was here the course of counting changed in support of Two Leave for the protection of Goa. Constituents of Cortalim changed the trend in favour of Goa then. And now during the coming by-election Cortalim voters must also show the same type of wisdom and political maturity to dump Alina of BJP into the Dustbin otherwise as a slave of Parrikar she would do anything against the interest of Goa and Goans. Her silence on Mopa Airport shows she does not care for the fulfilment of her husband’s wishes thereby displaying lack of her love for him.

The by-election in Cortalim should be fought only on the Mopa Airport issue, for and against Mopa, like how we fought Opinion Poll and won. There should be a strong opposition to Alina of BJP who should be thought a very good lesson of her widowed life, just as we thought a very good lesson to the Congress in the last election. She wants to convert her tears into pleasure by gaining sympathy due to the death of her husband. She would have been a model widow if she followed the path of her husband’s decision on Mopa Airport.

By defeating her in the by-election we will prove to Parrikar our opposition to Mopa Airport. Otherwise Parrikar will not come to his senses. He is acting like a  "BEBDO" drunk with power having absolute majority in the Assembly. This majority was given to him not to go against the wishes of the Goans but to act as per the wishes of Goans. Let our brothers and sisters in Cortalim in the coming by-election act as the spokespersons of entire Goa and all Goans who are opposing the Mopa Airport.

Meantime, all the opponents of Mopa Airport must escalate their campaign against Parrikar, BJP and Alina for their support for the construction of Mopa Airport.

AIRPORT MOPA – AMKAM NAKA.
BAI ALINA – TUKAM AMI VOTE GALINA.
MANOHAR PARRIKAR – TUM BOSLOI AMCHEA KONKEAR.
