NEW SONG IN U TUBE BY DOMNICK FERNANDES - KUWAIT.

 

One of the all time best songs in the solo category is the one I just listenened in the UTube today “Face Bookar write-up” by the very good composer and singer Domnick Fernandes from Raia Salcette but based in Kuwait now since last so many years.  Currently he is  involved in doing lot of social work and Church work in Kuwait’s Holy Family Cathedral, Kuwait Church. 

The solo is revolvewd around the pride and arrogance of the individual who is boastful of his expertise in doing so many different things with excellent finishing but  sufferening from pride complex in boasting of his skill and degrading those who cannot come up to his level.

The song Domnick composed very beautifully with his bright mind like a seasoned Tuatrist and composer.  I am surprised at this young age he achieved the great excellence in composing and singing great songs.

The musical score was very beautifuly provided by the musicians.

Well done Bab Domnick Fernandes, keep going higher and higher and keep composing such beautiful songs of which type very few Tiatrists are caablle to compose and to sing as well.

CONGRESS PARTY LEADERSHIP CRISIS.

 

The front page headline story in  Heraldo dated 23.07.21 with a photograph of all India stature Congrress leader Rahul Gandhi along with all the useless Congress leaders from Goa, I strongly oppose the decision of the leaders of Congress Party in demanding the relieving of the current Goa’s Congress leader Girish  on the ground that he is not fit to lead the Congress Party to victory in the coming election.  Let me come directly saying that Girish is the real face of Congress Party in Goa because he carries  on his  shoulders the aspirations of all the proletarians of Goa because he being from the same category he knows better the problems of such lower strata people of our society.  Who is in better position than Girish to woo all those proletarinas to wards Conngress? 

 

I have no faith in scoundrels in Congress like Sardinha who joined hands with BJP’s Parricar to bring BJP to power so too Digambar Kamat the first class traitor who deserted BJP to  form the Congress Ministry under his leadership, that means these stupid people are moving towards power grabbing only, they have no ideology, their ideology is only to capture power and remain in the ruling segment.  Can anyone rely on Luizinho Faleiro to do justice?  He is become totally redundant and lost all his earlier inborn ambitions. Now, who is remaining from that confusionalist gang from the Congress Party?  Yes,the man who enjoyed all the benefits of the Government as a Minister first as a Law Minister in the Dayananda Bandodcar Ministry and later on as the longest serving CM of  Goa but still not thinking of retiring  from the public life.  Being the most sirud politician by standing on the other side of the fence he must be I am sure, making arrangement to jump into the BJP with his son eagerly awaiting his father to make a gang of father and son to confer Cief Ministership on Jr. Rane. Though I may sound a bit ridiculpous but in Goa democracy is become a big a joke because we in Goa do not know the quality of Democracy and for which we did not fight a fierce battle, in fact Democracy was imposed on us.

OUR LOCAL  SPORTS ASSOCIATION.

Our Candolim Sports Club came into existence unofficialyy about 100 years back where Foot-ball was the main important item, first time I saw Candolim Football team playing against Portuguese  Military team of Pakle stationed at Aguada about  65 years back, this match was played at Murodd Candolim, near the road going to Nerul, just before the Bridge bridging betwee Candolim and Nerul, on Canolim side where the ground was prepared in the field and as such it was meant to play seasonal soccer from March – April – May, it was here I saw the great Candolim players of that generation who organised themselves into  an official outfit of Candolim representing the Village Team of Candolim, some of them were namely My father, my maternal Uncle Dioginho Vaz of whose caliber Candolim is yet to produce another, Manuel Caetano Cardoso - Eugeno Cardoso’s Father (Saipem), Domingo Conceisaum Cardoso from Orda who later on became a Referee, Manuelin Rodrigues from Pintos(Kavli) who as the best disciplined footballer on the field and for whom once Fr. Mendponca of Arpora School Paid rih tributes for his good discipline, Mighty defender and the tallest player in the team Luciano from Dando, Luis (Papa) Vaddi, Krishna Naik Vaddi and some  others whose track I lost.  That was the first generation of organised Candolim foot-ball team representing Candolim Village officially which was in existence for many years earlier. Those players were physically very strong for this reaon this team was called a “Pelvan Team”.      Before this game the foot-ball team of Candolim was in existence.  Then the next generation came with the players who were more refined and more sophisticated and more skillfull players comprising my elder brother the late Cheddo who was the main backbone of Goa Police just as that of Candolim and the only Goan to play for Goa Police along with all the Pakle and Khapri Portuguese players , after him Goa Police football team has not till now produced another Cheddo in their front line powerful shooter followed by my another other brother the late Jose Marie ex Sesa Goa Captain, he was the                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         most talented to score goals thru header from the corner kicks, Andrew Machado (earlier Captain of Sesa Goa) and his brother Babazinho of whose type of dribbler I did not see another not only in Candolim but anywhere in Goa (both from Orda St. Cruz), the late Paklo Jose and his late brother John (both From Orda St. Sebatian), Baba Naik (Escrivao Vaddo), Ladru Simer and his late bother Kabul, Lawrence Nascimento all (Ximer), all the three brothers:- Kamal – Madhu- Shatchut (Vaddi), John Mendkar (Bamon Vaddo), Bhushan (Vaddi) and others then came my generation players. I started first time to play for Candolim “A” team when I was just 14 and that too with those earlier giants of second generation like my both the elder brothers as indicated above, Andrew Machado, Ladru etc.

 

However, the official recognition for Candolim Foot-ball Team was arranged by the late Dr. Gustavo Monteiro who was the great lover of Foot-ball.  He got Candolim Foot-ball team recognised at the Goa Foot-ball Association and by spending his precious time after the Candolim Foot-ball Team even guiding the players how to play by physically ineracting with the foot-ballers. After Candolim Club Dr. Gustavo spent lot of his personal money even though he had one associate with him who was helping Dr. Monteiro, he is Mr. D’Silva from Candolim itself.  In fact I saw him how D’Silva from his mining business he was utilising his Mining Truck to transport Candolim foot-ballers to Panjm and to other far places to play Candolim’s scheduled games.  I saw how the players sitting in the Truck without Seats. Then from the “ Segundo Divisao” Dr. Gustavo Monteiro  managed with distinction to have his Candolim Foot-ball team promoted into the “Primeiro Divisao” where there were top teams like Salgaocar, Vasco, Goa Police, Bemfica from Mapusa, St. Inez, MCC Margao (all these teams were manned by Pakles and Kahpris from Portugal and African Portuguese Colonies and as such they were a force to reckon with), Lube from Siolim, Ferroviarius, Bicholim comprising more Pakle and some more. To fortify further, Dr. Gustavo arraned for Candolim team 4 Portuguese best Pakle players from Aguada Millitary citadel. The contribution of Dr. Gustavo Monteiro and his family in the promotion and development  of Candolim Sports in general and Soccer in particular was second to none, first by Dr. Gustavo Monteiro followed by his priest brother Pe. Chico Monteiro.  The strong foundation laid by Dr. Gustavo Monteiro for the Candolim Foot-ball Club has gained lot of benefits for   the village of Candolim.                                                                                                                                                          

 About my family’s contribution in the development and proromotion of the  Candolim Sports in general and football in particular and physical assistance  in saving the village and villagers from the jaws of our wild  opponents   was extremely high.  We being 4 brothers the last one was too young then but we all three immediately stood high and erect not only to play and win the game with our opponents but also to provide physical assistance not because we were Dadas, no, surely not but we enjoyed good rapport and cooperation with  all our neighbours and opponents since we were having good character and very good discipline on  and off the field.. There was a time the greatness of Candolim football team surrounded on all the  three players of our family – Cheddo – Jose Marie -   Anton and only their play can win the match for Candolim. Such magnificent players all the three brothers never played for Candolim  nor will easily play in the future.

 

Eugeno Cardoso’s family is the greatest family in Candolim in Sports in general having produced one International Athlete, Steffi – Eugeno’s daughter, winning innumerable medals at national and international Meets  whils his son Ricardo an all India soccer custodian playing for India in the Lusofonia tournament when it was held in Goa and Eugen Cardoso himself a gigantic goalkeeper of Goa  representing Dempo Soccer team for almost a decade and winning most of the All India Tournaments. He was declared as the all time best goalkeeper of Dempo during the last 50 years.

 

When Candolim had such a fabulous past, why Candolim cannot produce a soccer team now that can create an impact ?   Who is running the affairs of Candolim Club or soccer team now?  Are they Candoicars or outsiders settled in Candolim and whoever they may be, what was their past  in soccer and what they contributed to promote  Candolim soccer in the past?   Are they really  contributing something or they are Titular heads of the Club?   The ground gifted by Dr. Gustavo Monteiro  for Panchayat is become like a fotress closed on all sides without free access for anyone to come  at any convenient time and play and practice there.  When it was arranged for Candolim boys it was not to make money making venture but now it looks different, the free flow of boys on the ground is restricted and nobody it looks knows who is handling the   affairs of this ground.  Why nobody from the village seems to take interest in this matter?  Where are all  the former stalwarts of  Candolim soccer gone now?  Who is    running the Club and who got them elected and when? Is GFA still recognizes Candolim Club?   Are Panchayat members involved in running the soccer show of Candolim soccer? If yes, on what basis?    Are all those who are running the soccer activities know anything of soccer and secondly are they really  Candoicars? It is my request to all “Nizache” Candoicar to come forward to revive soccer in Candolim and for Candoicars.

         When GRD Tata came to Goa for the first time somewhere in 1973/74 to visit his newly constructed Taj Hotel at Sinquerim, I was on the forefront with my Candolim friend Alex Pinto, to challenge TATA by stopping his Car at Sinquerim main Road and informing him of total dissatisfaction over the Sinquerim Taj management that instead of employing the locals, as earlier promised by the Taj, the Taj management  employed non-Goans more and that to on key posts when our locals were available.         Then immediately locals were recruited more in the Sinquerim Hotel but in their Register as I was informed by their internal sources, the Taj Management kept written in bold capital letters that NOT only ME i.e. Antonio Veronica Fernandes BUT not even any of my blood  relatives should be employed at Taj. Then after making thorough enquiry of my temparement, Taj management thought that I will always be a source of headache for them, so best thing they decided is to get rid of me from Candolim and Goa without opening their real, intention with the excuse of sending me to UK for further studies  in Hotel Management however the same offer I declined politely. Then  in my locality within  I hour after JRD Tata was stopped, I became a hero, so much so, the top politicians started approaching me even MGP Gen. Secretary Pankar from Mapusa but I maintained my distance from them knowing their selfish culture and also knowing majority of them they are such rascals.  That they are so third class you come to know the  way they are  defecting from one party to the other. And how worst are those who like Pimps initiate the process of defection as if they are doing a Holy job?  They don’t even have shame to arrange these defections games. I see their end is nearing because they are hurting innocent Goans too much.  From my past  experience I have noticed that those defectors and also the originators and initiators of such defections are facing worst punishment from God such as they get deadly deseases and sicknesses, their wives leave them, their children desert them and they become the subjects of Satan because “Ghaddis” they keep by paying them enormous amount of money by hiring them from North India  become masters of them and they in turn become slaves of Ghaddis and their end is decided by the Ghaddis only. During the last e;;lection for the Goa Legislattive Assembly, our Hero brought one Ghaddi to our area where Ghantees are plenty.  This man is having no shame and that he was instrumental in piloting the Defection of the entire Team of bastardised Con. Legislators to the rascalised ruling party is the talk of the town.  On top of it this same man roaming with his Collar up, not even ashamed  to confess with pleasure that he was the architecht of the biggest ever defection.  He thinks he did some extra ordinary job.  Hello my friend I pity you, you have not seen the world properly yet. You are still a "bach'ya, dont think money and illicit money you made you will survive to enjoy it, it is first of all not yours and for that matter nothing in this world is yours.  Dayananda Bandodcar was telling that "there is nobody greater above his head in Goa and nobody is capable to shake him an inch out from his CM'ship, Hardly a few hours finished after he spoke those prideful words, while playing the game of TING TONG no sorry it  was the game of Ping Pong at Campal, he collapsed and never recovered. Your era is coming to an end.  Punishment of God is coming  Lamefooted but surely it is coming. Coming back to Taj, among those who were later on recruited thanked me for creating opportunities for their employment in the TAJ at Sinquerim.   It was given to undertand later on that this was the first protest by the locals against the Multinationals in Goa.       

 

Gradually in many places in Goa people who are not fit to be decent and upright  human beings started to occupy the responsible positions meant for responsible people.  But unfortunately there were no upright people left in Goa  as we had earlier.  These new figures were totally corrupt, totally Indianised and not Goanised, they learnt in their schools   and with their Indian colleagues in Schools and Colleges all the dirty tricks and habbits,  what habbits?  How to rob, how to create disorder and confusion, how to disrespect the elders, how to amass wealth from others and in one word how to become selfish. These people with their worst habit of selfishness started getting opportunities to rule in our local Organisations namely Panchayats, Sports Clubs local, our Purvonzache Mandd, our Church related committees and many such other organisations.  These people went on organizing themselves into new groups to wield physical power in their hands acting like Goondas spreading threats in their localities. In my village itself power physical and political went into the hands of some of such people and the first thing they started doing was to build their financial empire built on money illicitly collected thru illicit means.  In every village almost these bloody  rascals young boys and young men started dominating our Panchayats occupying the positions of Sarpanches and without having any shame started extorting money from the locals as bribe money for the work done in the Panchayats, the work such as getting Licences to construct new Houses, to repair old houses and many such works.  The major share was going to the biggest “Ghauncho Chor” the Sarpanch and the rest of the Panchas includimng the Peon also started getting some percentage of bribe money. 

 

 

Furthermore, in their localities they started  acting like  Lords  roaming in big Limousines or top luxurious cars – to buy money from where? Surely from the bribe in lakhs of rupees or gifted from the top business maganets.  It said in my locality that one of such semi lords got a luxury car as a gift from one of the top Inddian business tycoons when that semi lord issued in his capacity as local leader the licence for  the luxurious construction of  that Indian businessman.  These rascals after dominating the Panchayats and having acquired their goals of building their financial empires, they then go in search of still more greener pastures to the Legislative Assembly, to do what? Nothing good but only to rob more and more and to accumulate more and more illicit wealth for which they have all the know how.  I have seen in my locality how some of this type of crooks are acting and the worst part of all this “Tamasha” was this that their wives are not even telling their crook and corrupt husbands not to commit such Sins. Some of these people are become Dadas in some of our local associations which the current heads and presidents are acting as if these village based associations are their own properties to manage the way they want and sad thing is this   that nobody in the localities and villages are questioning them.  Even our Purvonzache Mandd are taken over by such third rated stupid new  crop of Goan leaders whose only job is to pounce on the money accumulated thru the hard work by all the earlier “Kaxttikar” members.

THE  ILL EFFECTS OF MIGRATION OF GOANS TO OUTSIDE GOA/INDIA.i.

The migration of Goans to outside India was started about over 200 years ago first migrating to  India namely Bombay, Delhi, Calcutta, Dakka, Rangoon, Colombo, Karachi and to some other places and later on in the Middle East and  Africa. Then after the last Arab - Israeli War in the Middle East where Arabs suffered just like in all the previous wars, a most humiliating defeat from the tiny nation Israel which came into being on 14^th May in 1948  while the entire Arab World comprising innumerable independent States came into existence hundreds of years back.  In that last War fought between the Arabs and Israel in 1972 /73, Israel with the strong support of USA in men-materials and Logistics, totally annihilated the Arabs.  Feeling their ego was hurt, the Arabs decided to increase the Oil Prices tremendously to teach a very good  lesson to USA and other Western countries that were part of the Axis with USA against Arabs.  When the Oil prices were increased, the money power of Arab Countries especially the Oil Rich reached to the sky and in order to utilize this excess of money  power into the hands of Arabs, they went for further industrialization of their countries for which what the manpower they needed, the Arabs started hiring in greater number from   India, of course in addition from other Asian countries too.

 

Taking advantage of this situation many of the young men from Goa some of them doing lucrative jobs and getting good salaries as per the Goan standard, they were lured for the new jobs in the Gulf Countries for very good salaries.  Gradually within the mid/end of seventies and in the early eighties our Goan young men who  in their localities  were doing very good activities  for the protection of Goan culture, tradition, language, system, Goan discipline, Goan Folksongs, Folk Tales, Goan Food and many other attributes of their localities, Goa and Goans were not only  totally uprooted from their villages and Vaddos but also from Goa as a whole and they went abroad for greener pastures.  When these Goans left from Goa there appeared a vacuum created by their going abroad, in their localities, Vilages, Vaddos and in Goa as a whole  having no link whatsoever between those who already left from their localities, Villages, Vaddos and Goa and those who filled the vacuum created by those who already migrated to the Gulf and elsewhere without creating the legacy between the old and the new stalwarts most of them lacked most of the Goan attributes, they were more or less like non-Goans lacking in genuine Goanness.  The continuity between the new and the old was lost.  For example in my village before going to Kuwait I was playing a leading role in everyfield in the village, dominating almost every segment fighting against the arrogant, chors, bamtte and Rostad and in the bargain I gained lot of respect and allegiance of course with some enemies too who were like toys for me.  So too my other brothers and in fact one of them Jose MARIE was the most dynamic in our locality.  It is on record in one election (only one (PANCHAYAT)election he contested which was forcibly imposed on him by the voters) he got elected  without even he doing any campaigning personally nor door to door canvassing.  Voters elected him on their own freewill).  Such  VAST pull he had over the village and villagers. We were simple and ordinary people but had very good respect in the locality because of our character, good deeds, good discipline and topmost Sports calibre in general and football in particular brought us into strong limelight and directly into the hearts of the people and we made good use of this limelight and goodwill for the cause of society.

ANIL PEDNEKAR’S NEW SONG – PALKACHO MOG.

ANIL PEDNEKAR’S NEW SONG – PALKACHO MOG.                         

Recorded on U-Tube and released on 16^th of this month, it was a beautiful song “PALKACHO MOG” by the well-known Tiatrist Anil Pednekar.  It was nicely worded to indicate  his appreciation for the Tiatrists, Playwrights and Directors who helped Anil Pednekar to reach where he is reached now on Konkani Stage, that is a very high level of Writer, Director, Composer and Singer doing justice to every segment.

In his brief speech in the beginning itself, before starting his song, he describes all details of his reaching to this high level of Konkani Stage. Then he takes the names of all who gave him their helping hands for Anil to become one of the topmost writers – directors – composers & singers .

From start till end he sings the song very nicely with nice pace which gave very good clarity and for which an appropriate musical score gave a good booster.  It is worth listening and admiring this beautiful song.

As a matter of fact, Anil Pednekar is a very good character actor and he can play any character role, his two photos playing such roles are attached herewith. As a human being, he is very kind hearted person ready to go to   any length within his capacity to help the needy.

IS INDIA REALLY A SECULAR COUNTRY?

 

This  is regarding the demolition of the Little Flower Church in Delhi by the demonic type of people of this planet who are the worst enemies of India and whose only motto in life is to see India is splitted into innumerable pieces.  With this demolition can we the minority Christian community trust any more the India’s ruling political party the BJP to give a feeling of meting out justice to the Christians in particular and minorities in general?  I feel ashamed to be a citizen of this  communal country which otherwise is so great, so long and broad and having produced great intellectuals and sages who have not only dazzled the world by their sheer intelligence and excellent oratory in support of India’s stand on Secularism and yet  with the silent nod of the higher ups trouble the minorities.

 

 

For example, when Swami Vivekananda went to America representing India and Hinduism and addressing the  Parliament of the World Religions attended by  7000 highly sophisticated and brainy attendees at Chicago in 1893, said he “I come from the country that build Temples, Masjids and Churches” proving the existence of secularism in India and also co-existece among all the religious communities”. While Dr. Francisco Luis Gomes a Portuguese Parliamentarian elected from the South Goa Constituency to represent and to protect the interest of Goans in Goa, stopping over in Europe while attending the Portuguese Parliamentary session, addressed to  those highly intelligent Europeans detaiing our grieances. This was much before any Ghandis and Nehrus could be born and for that matter any Indian from Bharati land could do as our Dr. Gomes did. Dr. Gomes addressing to the Europeans said – “I come from the land that produced the great Epics Ramayana and Mahabaratha and produced the game of Chess.”.  Going a bit further added Dr. Gomes by saying “I have come here in Europe not only to ask freedom for my land Goa but also to demand full freedom to my country which is suffering too much under the colonialism of  Europe. In his statement Swami Vivekananda praised Indian secularism while the other my Goan brother, Dr. Francisco Luis Gomes praised India and Indians as a whole without naming any  particular community. 

 

 

Now after knowing the Christian Church in Delhi is demolished, I ask this question, are we worthy of  the compliments by Swami and by the Doctor? Are we really secular or still communal ?  When the case of the construction of this Church is still lying in the court, why those fanatics took law into their own hands to demolish it?       

Good that it  was Church only  but  if  it was a Masjid, I am sure situation will go the Babri Masjid way. As a Chief Minister could not Kejriwal do something  to avoid this situation? What guts he has to ask us to vote for AAP in Goa? It looks BJP and AAP are same, both are communal.  I think Goencho  Avaaz is the only  solution for us because what I observed in this party is this that there is not a single mmber of dual character like Dr. Jaxkeyl and Mr. Hyde and it is headed by the most upright man ex-Captain in the indiian Navy,  Capt. Viriato Fernandes.

COMING ELECTION WILL BE FIERCELY CONTESTED,

 

According to my assessment, the coming  election for the Goa State     Legislative  Assembly will be fought very fiercely because almost every MLA will do everything to retain his seat by doing anything within his capacity even by committing worst of crimes because when one tastes the power  he does not leave it easily. Our current MLA’s have already tasted the power by  way of different means either legally or illegally but even then that they lacked advanced social contacts is certainly correct. Also they have tasted the power which they used for amassing  illicit wealth and also illicit sex that evaded them earlier because they are so “Burro” that  at least some of them undergone their internship in sex with the real Donkeys only.   

During their earlier part many of them were nowhere in the midst of society. Having tasted the power and show of MLA and Ministership in the current term they are aware of the importance of being in the Legislative Assembly which gives them full illegal authority to loot and even to kill anybody who comes on their way and yet this misdeed will go untraced and untracked as that of Fr. Bismarque inspite of the fact that we are having fully equipped with all the facilities the department to trace and track such calamities.  Our Security personnel are fit to catch “easy to catch” wrong doers like those who rob because they are hungry.  For such robbers we don’t call robbers but instead we call  those who are responsible to catch the hungry as double robbers.  It is wrong on the part of those who arrest them and also those who sentence them instead of owning their responsibilities by being party to the society we all belong including the hungry robbers.  We have to own the resonsibilties of thier robberies bccause we failed in our mission to provide them suitable job avenues.

In this coming election Money will flow like water from any “Donsou” river water but they will tell it is very sweet and spiritual in nature and voters will believe these lies like idiots and idiots only will vote for them. Further I forecast that some of the contestants will even  kidnap their opponents and even their family members especially the ladies and children demanding the ransom in crores of rupees because they are aware that only the “crorepotis” can afford to contest the elections. There will be besides, total chaos and disorder in Goa, there will be total law and order breakdown situation and law enforcing machinery  will be shying away from performing their responsibilities conscientiously because they will be in a dilemmatic situation to chose between the good and the bad because when the results of the election are out who will be the superior and inferior of whom. 

Almost all the contestants in the forthcoming election will be hard core corrupt and once they are elected there will  be nothing good in Goa but all round de facto corruption leading to the running of parallel economy.  Voters will find it extremely difficult to get any single candidate good.  For this reason I have decided like that ancient Greek philosopher Diogenes roaming in the ancient city of Athens with a lighted Lantern in his hand during the day time in search of good  person so too myself do the similar exercise  in search of good candidate.

NEW SONG BY PLGA ON HER MOTHER'S DEATH.

   The beauty of the song is based not only  on its lyrics but also on the way it is rendered.  When one sings a song with his/her beautiful voice the degree of its beauty goes up giving very good satisfaction to the listeners. Not only this even the singers way of singing and modulating of his face is also very much counted.  From the time of the staging of the first Tiatro over 150 years ago, the first known song on 

the dead person,  namely the late Minguel Rod was rendered by the late legendary Young Menezes who was otherwise a jet speed singer known in the history of Konkani songs the singer of longest jet-speed song comprising 500 words.  While singing this song Young Menezes was so exhausted that at one particular point he was holding his own hand to his stomach as a support because due to total exhaustion he was unable to stand erect and sing that song.  At moment it ;looked he was collapsing on the Stage In the history of such songs, this song rendered by Young Menezes will remain as the best, commented  yet another great Tiatrist/singerAlexinho de Candolim the next day, Young Menezes rendered this song in the Tiatro held at the Mattou erected next to the house of Alexinho de Candolim.of whose calibre we are yet to see another like him. As a matter of fact Minguel Rod when he died in 1954 this was the most sorrowful song that was rendered with the exrremely sorrowful Tune of Motetic type.  That this song on Minguel Rod was so powerfully sorrowful that the audience came to know the moment the musicians started to play the introductory music when the singer the late Young Menees who on the musical steps based on the music played by the musical troupe t headed by that great Maestro Violonist Alex.

 

                     Yesterday on Tube I listened to a beautiful sorrowful  song by  the highly political singer  Olga on her  recently expired mother at GMC where as per this song the hospital authorities mishandled her case that it looks  led to her death. Normally Olga is known to sing political songs with her fiery words criticising the ill deeds of the  government but in this particular song on her mother she is totally changed. Olga even though she pinches here and there some` doctors and HM for not being serious and playing with the life of the patients.

                        In this song Olga  indicates how smart she is even  in singing such sorrowful songs with her serene and touchy  voice and touchy way of singing with a slow pace thereby  winning the hearts of the listeners.     It is worth listening and nobody should miss this song she rendered with her eyes all wet.

UNFORTUNATE DEATH OF FR.STAN SWAMY. II.

 Regarding the death of Fr. Stan Swamy, I feel there is a foul play in his death by the government.  Who monitored his daily medical intake? Can’t it be like what has happened to Jayprakah Narayan when as indicated by the renowned Journalist Kuldip Nayar in his masterpiece “The Judgement”, on the instruction of Indira Ghandi, special dose of medicine was given to him to detoriorate his Kidney problem so that he dies soon? 

He was arrested under very harsch law which equates him to worst people which is not correct.  He as an 84 year old respectable person and reputed priest belonging to Jesuit, how he can commit such offences at this age?  It was very bad decision to deny him bail for such a long time and treat him like a third grade prisoner where he was denied so many  facilities.  How right it would not have been if  all those who made a big noise of his imprisonment after his death had to do the same when he was alive in prison?  What is this country and its harsch laws some of them needing changes being archaic?  The image of Bharat is  now very much damaged since this issue has hit internationally and people in India itself are become suspicious of these laws.

MIGRATION DUE TO UNEMPLOYMENT.

 The Herald’s issue of 06.07.21 on 2 topics under “Herald Insighs” column, were very interesting, the first one   reminded us of how  Rane Sr. felt so low seeing in UK our young boys doing the dirty jobs of washing and cleaning  the Bathrooms and Toilets at the Airport.  Rane Sr., please note that if we the real sons and daughters of Goa are suffering in our own land it is only because of our Goa ruled for longer period by the traitors  Maharastrwadi oriented anti-Goans like you.  And on top of it all, you are  hurling a sort of accusation on young and energetic Goan boys coming to do the menial jobs in the UK? You being a holder of topmost post of CM of Goa failed to create job avenues to jobless then I say “to hell with you” stupid man because you are the most irresponsible CM of Goa in the Goan history and whose inclinations towards Maharastrawadis from the day one you joined the anti-Goan MGP are the same.

 

  Pratsphsingh Rane as a Minister starting first in the Minstry of Dyanandna Bandodcar as a Law Minister and then mainly as the CM lived with all the CM’s luxuries for you and for your  family including your son who got all the life amenities and luxuries ready  made.  If it was not like this may be your son or any son of any of the fathers would do the same type of job in  UK.  Now because of his bright stars he got all the benefits and luxuries of  life.

 

Mr. Rane you have I am sure not even cast your cursory glance and never even bothered to find out the position of all those whose names were registered on the Register in the        Employment Exchange and then to make your own assessment how to create the jobs for them. You felt in UK at the Airport our boys are doing the dirty job but you stupid man, there is no dirty or clean job, a job is a job and it has to be to the liking of one who does it. Besides, one must have dignity of the labour.  However, leaving Goa and migrating to UK for the job itself is a dirty exercise for which all the Ranes who were on the forefront to rule Goa must be held responsible in failing to create jobs for the unemployed youth in Goa.   

 

Somewhere in 1958/59, seeing the huge number of Goans employed in the Gulf, the Portuguese Governador of Goa, Vassalo e Silva issued a circular to Goans abroad who were willing to return and work in  Goa, Governador volunteered to provide them with  suitable jobs.  Respondng to this Circular at least as I know, 3 Goans employed at lucrative Oil sectors in Kuwait and at least 4 from Qatar applied to the Governador’s Office in Goa and after proper scrutiny of their Applications they were employed in Goa in the government and Mining sectors.
