ULLAS BUYAO MOURNED IN KUWAIT.
KUWAIT KONKNNI KENDR, in its extra ordinary meeting held yesterday in Kuwait City, expressed its deep sorrow over the sad and untimely demise of the late Ullas Buyao on Monday, the 16th of this month, in Goa. Ullas Buyao a noted Konkani lover and singer shot into limelight when he recorded his most beautiful song "Channeache Rati". This song finally became a houseld amongst Goans and Konkani speaking people.
His latest expression in support of Romi Konkani was something to be admired and appreciated. Being a Hindu he supported Romi Konkani and not Devanagri like the thieves Nagrivadis who robbed Romivadis of their due share. At this critical juncture of the fight for Romi Konkani, the presence of Ullas Buyao would have been very essential and his straight forwardness in this matter and daringly declaring his support for Romi Konkani would be missing a lot. His death will be a big loss for the Romivadis but a big victory for the Nagrivadis namely Kelekars, Bhembres, Naiks, Shivdases, Borkers, Mauzos and their ilk. In his death Konknnivadis in general and Romivadis in particular lost a great support. May his soul rest in peace.
