ON A. VERONICA'S SUPPORT TO FRANCIS DE TUEM.

I admire Francis de Tuem for his guts to speak out openly against the politicians.. & feel he should continue.

but I was shocked & surprised that he choose to target the children of Micky Pacheco... of course everyone knows the lifestyle of Micky & his past.... BBUUUTTT... why involve his children??? that was totally uncalled for!!!!!... a "below the belt" moment

as Micky himself said..."I don't mind him targeting me, but what has my children got to do with politics".. as per what you say about "dirty linen in public"... why should a 7/8 year old child be brought into the spotlight for the sins of their father????????.... can you imagine how that child of that age, would have felt when he/she heard such about his existence!!!!

& When you say that “public figure should not have dirty linen”... tell me which public figure does not have ... so why target him??????.......

I hope Francis continues with his song, but only hope he keeps the personal aspect out of it.. He is too talented to stoop to such low levels!!!!

Robert Martins It is really surprising to see that the Konkani artistes in Kuwait are remaining mum over the arrest of Francis de Tuem.    This very artistes brag about their contribution to konkani theatre and now suddenly they have fallen silent.   They misuse Kranti to promote themselves and their work but when the need for standing up for their colleague arose they put their tail in between legs and beat a hasty retreat. It is really disgusting to say the least.    As fellow artistes who have acted with Francis de Tuem in Kuwait and elsewhere, they should have expressed their solidarity.  But alas this crab mentality among Goans exists in every segment of the society. By keeping silent on this issue, these tiatrists in Kuwait have shown that they are rostads.    Keep up the good work Veronica. More power to you.
