TIATRO “BOREM KORIT BOREM BOGIT” BY JOSE & IVON FERNANDES.
Written and directed by encouraging
Tiatrist Jose Fernands I saw the Tiatro “BOREM KORIT BOREM BOGIT” yesterday at Kala
Academy Hall, Panjim, starting at 7.00 PM.
This is the 4th competition organized by Kala Academy of
Group B.
The Tiatro was attended by more than 50% of
the capacity of the hall and since this was the first Tiatro of this
competition, every person attending this Tiatro was anxious to welcome every
artiste on the Stage which was well set by the director, especially the
erection of the Goan traditional Hut.
The story of the Tiatro is very simple but
with a moral lesson saying if you do good then you will enjoy the good. The play is concentrated on one single
artiste who is none other than Ivon the charismatic wife of the director Jose
Fernandes. She played the major role in
this Play as an aged woman who though a firm believer in God yet the most problematic
woman fighting with everyone namely her husband and neighbor. Ultimately in the
end she paid the price for what she did to others.
The other side of this play was the union
of a Chritian girl and a Hindu boy which was nicely narrated. The roles played by Jose, the Hindu man, his
son, his Christian girlfriend were worth admiring.
The Side Show songs were good but most of
them were centered on Religion.
Congratulations to the director and his
entire troop.
A.Veronica Fernandes.
