MONTREANCHI SUBERBAI.
On 24th of last month I was at Dabolim Airport, standing at the entrance to return to Kuwait. While I was exchanging a few words with my friends who came to reach me to the Airport, suddenly I saw security personnel pushing the people from there rudely as if heaven was falling. Suddenly this attitude of Police caught my attention and I thought Police are driving away the people from there in order to save them from the jaws of the Monster. Then immediately I noticed a Pilot Car from where Prataph Singh Rauji Rane the Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly alighting from the vehicle. He was on that day flying somewhere and entering the Airport thru the same main door as I was entering. For this reason poor slave type of Goa Policemen were doing all the slavery for Rane.
I had one “Maeti” at Mapusa and when I was young I was going to stay there during my annual school holidays. During those days, Portuguse Schools used to grant us holidays after the final exam for about three months, from half March to half June. My “Maeti” used to tell me that on certain days and at certain times she used to close the main door of her house otherwise during the time of Portuguese rule in Goa many of us we never even used to lock our doors even at night time, leave aside just closing during the day time. She said she and even her other neighbours used to close their main doors only to avoid the “Ranes” coming and forcing them to pour pure coconut oil on the pure leather “Chappals” Ranes were wearing. If not, Ranes would threaten them with dire consequences which were very possible because that time Ranes were considered as most hated people because of their brutalities. History records them as brutal people, even in our folk tales their names are mentioned for everything worst. When they put coconut oil on their Chappals, while walking on the road the Chappals used to produce sound, like “chank – chank” which means a warning for the people around there that “be careful, Rano as many times people used to call Rane, is coming. According to further stories Ranes were even raping the ladies forcibly and blaming the innocent Portuguese Pakles. In one word, Ranes were having a very bad image in Mapusa and in other places.
In Mapusa near the Alankar Cinema Hall, there is one Chapel which is called as “Swissachem Kopel”. In the morning on the first day of the Carnival there used to be a parade there organized by the students from “Mocidade de Portuguesa” carrying guns as if they were going to fight a war. At the end of the session, the boys involved in the parade wearing “khaki” uniforms used to fire shots in the air and everyone used to say “Ranneank Marle” as if the parade was organized only to kill the Ranes. Why was it necessary to kill Ranes? Naturally, they must be having a history as very bad people, extortionists, rapists, “goondas & chors”, etc. For this reason, the society then used to label them as very bad people in Goa. In fact, history tells that originally Ranes were not from Goa, they were not from Satari either but they were from Gujarat and settled in Maharastra and finally one clan of theirs I think the clan of bad people settled in Goa, Satari being their citadel, Prataph Singh Rauji Rane may be one of the descendents of this clan of Rane. In the beginning they befriended Portuguese, got lot of benefits for them from the Portuguese and later on like Dayananda Bandodkar betrayed Portuguese with a Judas Kiss. And finally they called themselves Freedom Fighters for Goa to get cheap prominence from the cheap Bharat Serkar.
Ranes are not originally Goans for this reason Prataph Singh Rauji Rane’s affiliation goes to his anchestral place Maharastra. Even other political Ranes the same, for this reason they supported MGP and Marathi. Even Prataph Singh Rauji Rane opted for a non Goan girl to marry. They don’t like Goans but only the “Bastardised” Goans like them and they only support them. Genuine Goans will never support Ranes. Prataph Singh Rauji Rane is become like a “Dada” after being such a long period in the Goa Legislative Assembly holding top positions including that of CM for a longer period. By virtue of these top positions he is entitled for everything free for a long period and that too at the cost of tax payers' money. By being in such a preferential treatment position he has acquired the feeling that he is meant to rule only like a boss. Not only he, even his children are meant to inherit his way of life and positions for this reason he has passed the inheritance of political hierarchy to his son Viswajeet Rane who being such a small “potto” is creating havoc in Goa while Papa Rane is watching silently because Mama Rane is all for Baba Rane.
While as Montris, our Ministers act like Lords, nay, sorry; by dubbing them as Lords I am lowering the image of real Lords in UK. Real Lords are far better but not our artificial Lords who are acting like heavenly Lords. See now, when Luizinho Faleiro was the Chief Minister of Goa, there were so many Government vehicles at his disposal even for his servants to take them to Bazar. When he was going out one Police Jeep and plus two Pilot Cars with top security personnel were escorting his vehicle. Why all these artificial tamasha for his security? Why this artificial “dharbar”? Because Luizinho Faleiro or any of our Montris was on hit list? Now Luisinho Faleiro is no more in the Government and not even in the Goa Legislative Assembly and hence no security for him not only as provided earlier but not even a Gurkha guard is guarding him. Why nobody is killing him now? Why people will kill him? Who wants him? Not even a “KUDDO MUS” is interested in him for this reason nobody is touching him physically now. He is worthless creature now. In view of this, was it necessary for him to ask for such a top security at the cost of tax payers from Goa? People should ask this question. It is a shame for Navelkars to have such a person representing their constituency. Navelim is a place that gave birth to the great Parliamentarian Francis Luis Gomes who inspite of being Goa’s representative in Portuguese Parliament never opted for any security for him then. But Luizinho Faleiro’s security Dharbar blackens the image even of Dr. Gomes. You provide security only for people who are on wanted list for their ill deeds. Even Dayananda Bandodkar roamed all over Goa without any security. Today’s Montris are “chor” and “bamttes”, for this reason they are afraid of their lives. Today’s Montris are showy type because their ancestry lacked any importance in life. They want artificial importance. It is all feelings of psychological elevation.
When Tomazinho Cardoso was the Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly, he used to pass thru Candolim Tinto in his Pilot car as if he is the Lord without even looking at others. But who cares for him now and what is his poor status become now!! When he used to come for the Mass on Sundays to Candolim Church many of his “chamchas” used to flock around him before and after the mass but now even a ‘KUDDO MUS” does not look at him when he comes for the Mass. According to my latest information, once, one of his female neighbours came to meet him as she used to meet him earlier when he was a non-entity in Candolim. When he came to know of this female visitor, from inside his room he sent a word to her asking her whether she got an appointment for her to meet him. Oh my God!! What a pride it was? What a “suberbai”!! When I got the news of this pride I was surprised and this pride of his finally led him down from where there is no more chance for him to come up again. Even his involvement in Romi Konkani movement now is a big tamasha to regain his lost foothold in public life. When he was a Speaker he did nothing worthwhile for the cause of Romi Konkani and now what he is doing is only to fool his foolish supporters who got no guts to tell him “to get out now from Romi circle when you did nothing for Romi Konkani when you were in power”. These Montris and Sobapotis and other such officials want only show for them. Such a show was not even made by our former Portugueze rulers. We wanted freedom from Portuguese for what? To wear their robes and act more than what they acted? “Chorank and Bamtteank Goemchem freedom ekdom boreak poddlam and tech Goem kobar kortat. We want “kalcho chalto ani khalto Goykar” to come up in life but when he is on top we don’t want him to act like a Maharaja. We have to destroy these artificial Maharajas otherwise their “suberbai” will destroy us.
Today every politician and minister publicly adores Mahatmah Gandhi but none of the rascals imitate Ghandiji by leading a simple life without artificial pomp. All are rascals, Congressmen are the worst. These rascal Congressmen and Gongress montris are every minute disgracing the fair image of Bapuji by imitating colonialists, chors and bamttes. It is a shame that these "volkot" Congress montris have got elected on the Congress tickets, the Congress that was so much nourished and brought into prominence by Ghandiji thru his simple and truthful life.
Once as a small boy I was in a Ferry Boat coming from Panjim with my brother. In the same Ferry Boat suddenly Governador Vassalo e Silva’s civilian Jeep entered. I did not know whose jeep it was but when the Jeep was parked in the Ferry Boat, nicely Governador Vassalo alighted from his Seat. My brother pointed out to me that “see, he is the Governador of Goa”. I, at that very young age was looking very handsome having fair complexion. Governador came towards me, gave me a broad smile from his broad attractive face and just started moving in the moving Ferry Boat smiling people there. Compared to him, our current Ministers and Speakers are “bloody dirt” and yet the then Governador of Goa did not have Pilot Car nor a fleet of security vehicles like what the showmakers Luizinho Faleiro, Rane, Tomazinho and others had and still having. That day with Governador his security was only one Paklo wearing a short Pant and while Governador was roaming in the Ferry Boat, the security Paklo was still seated on his front seat. During those days Goa Governador and Patriarch of Goa had especial previlleges to travel alone in the Ferry Boat but even then Governador refused this previllege. If Tomazinho Cardoso and Luizinho Faleiro were there, they would act like Salazar because both of them were tasting power first time in their life time. And as a matter of fact, artificial power is very tasty and heady too. For this reason the acquirers of artificial power “Vollenui dhoronant ani Supanui dhoronant”.
Again, once the same Governador came to Candolim and stopped his Jeep at Tinto and alighted from his Jeep and waved at all the people around him. His security Paklo was with him but when one Hindu farmer wearing a Kaxtti whose name was Madhev with a Polio Hand, rushed to the Governador trying to wish him by shaking hand of the Governador, the Governador himself came sprinting to Kaxttikar Madhev and shook his hand very warmly. Would our current Ministers condescend and do the same way as Governador Vassalo did? Would the security personnel of our tin pot ministers allow a Kaxttikar to greet our ministers? People in Goa should know who is better. Colonialists or Freed ones. We wanted freedom for what? To imitate colonialists? No, our colonialists did not do the pride – “suberbai” - as our own brothers did and still doing. The security of our Ministers, their pompous show is nothing but a big tamasha and this tamasha must come to an end. When they are in power they act like big but once they are fallen not even a “kuddo Muss” looks at them and yet they have no shame because they are shameless and only shameless people are surrounding them since our Montris alone can do shameless acts for shameless people.
