Recently, a few days back, we heard the news that in Haryana, India there was a big trouble of labour unrest at the Maruti – Suzuki Car Manufacturing Plant leading to the burning alive of the HR Manager of the company after breaking his legs besides breaking of the limbs of 30 top officials and injuring of over a hundred. As given to understand because of the labour dispute started with the simple argument between a simple staff and the Labour Manager the matter reached to the highest boiling point. Who is right and who is wrong is not yet clear but one life was lost and huge loss for the company has been incurred. Because of the strong labour union the interest of organised labour in India is protected.
The strength of labour in India is such that the owners of the company, top management and top managers have to be very careful not to antagonise the manpower down below them. Otherwise Haryana type of incidents will occur in greater number. I don’t know the HR Manager really deserved such a ruthless punishment but to maim and kill somebody is wrong. But equally wrong is the habit of the managers to harass the employees and make their life miserable. There are civilised ways to sort out the grievances but excess freedom for labour sometimes leads to such incidents.
Compare the above Haryana incident with our Indian managers in Kuwait who are acting not only as authoritarians but actually many of them are acting like Saddam Husseins. Their only motto with the threat of termination of services and deportation is to create fear into the minds and hearts of the staff working under them. By taking advantage of the favourable Labour Law for them and to protect their interest of receiving unhindered and undeserved excess flow of remunerations for them by squeezing and sucking the blood of the staff working under them these managers create total tension for their staff. I have been a long timer in Kuwait and was working under some of the worst managers whom I cannot compare with civilised human beings but with barbarians. At an appropriate time I will expose them and their maltreatment to their staff. Currently the time is not ripe for this exposure.
Earlier one of my immediate managers was an Indian from South India. The way he was dealing with and treating his staff it looked that he was worst than Saddam Hussein, The only thing he did not have biological weapons at his disposal to burn alive his staff like Saddam Hussein used against Kurds in Iraq. But otherwise his tongue like that of a serpent was worse than the biological weapon inviting curses from his staff not only on him but also on his entire family, of course deservingly as per the natural law of compensation. In his department he created a feeling of a living Hell of course with the silence nod of his Nazi superior, till this South Indian Manager was disgracefully sacked on the spot by his new non-Nazi superior thereby giving peace to the staff. Never before in such a crude manner was an Indian manager unceremoniously dismissed from the job with the words “take your bag and go home immediately”. The South Indian manager for such long time acting like a big hero within a second became a BIG Zero. This is the power of God’s wrath which came slowly but certainly.
Shouting and insulting the staff with threats was his forte thereby creating an image of him of a Monster and a barbarian. A shouting manager is a Donkey manager. An efficient manager will never shout at his staff because he will employ only efficient staff in his department needing no excuse for shouting. By applying unnecessary difficult work methods he used to put fear into his staff minds and hearts so atrociously creating all round tension in them physically and mentally. And being unable to bear it some staff of his suffered from cardiac problems going for bypass surgeries, some suffering from paralytic stroke due to fluctuation in their blood sugar, few of them brain and kidney failure while others some other type of sicknesses. Every staff working under him suffered tension strokes and borne the same silently because of the need of the job since they had financial obligations to fulfil back at home.
This South Indian manager took advantage of his poor staff that they will not retaliate openly because of their poor job conditions. And taking advantage of this situation he treated his staff like goats in front of the knife wielding butcher thereby disgracing his Brahminical Hinduism. In Kuwait there came and gone many Indian Managers but never such a wild beast who harassed his staff for self-satisfaction like a sadist. His managership was a disgrace on India and its nationals in Kuwait. At moment he looked psychotic and mentally deranged because only such persons act in such manner. For this reason Labour Law must prescribe mandatory mental check-up for managerial class of people.
As an Indian it is my duty to expose in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS the misdeeds of such rascal managers because they do more harm to the people working under them thereby lowering the fair image of Indians in Kuwait. Also, it is the responsibility of Indian Embassy to monitor the activities of such cruel Indian managers and reprimand them accordingly, if necessary even by impounding their Passports. Time is not ripe for me to disclose the identity of this South Indian Manager but at an appropriate time it will be done and it will be done ruthlessly befitting his barbarity he committed against his poor staff. When this is done his wife, children and other relatives will have to put their heads down in shame for having such a dirty man in their midst.
God’s punishment comes lame footed and it will surely come and that time is not very far. God will never give this South Indian Hindu criminal manager an opportunity to go back to his home in India to enjoy the huge wealth he accumulated because he acquired this wealth by torturing the staff working under him and by sucking their innocent blood.
Such Managers when they occupy their managerial chairs they think that they are the Monarchs but sadly they fail to understand that they are the monarchs only of what they survey within the four walls of their offices and departments. Beyond this they are worse than Donkeys having no respect and dignity, they are unsocial and uncultured. For the sake of money they will even sell their wives.
He was harassing his staff to follow his work methods and because of this harassment his staff suffered so miserably while others even died. But he was dismissed on the spot because his top management found his method of work was WRONG. This means the staff whom he harassed was wrongly harassed. In this case who will compensate for all the losses his staff suffered under him for wrongly cracking their brans to follow his wrong methods? Even his method of evaluating the staff performance was fallacious and lopsided while giving increments to the staff. Undeserving staff would get more while others a pittance. And worst still many would not get only. He was never a judicious in this aspect. He would like a drunkard remunerate only a few fabulously while leaving the others as dry as if they are not working.
Would this South Indian manager as mentioned above dare to show his brute power in India even 1 per cent of what he showed in Kuwait? Never. For this reason this country Kuwait is good for him and of his likes to act as Saddam Hussein by taking advantage of the favourable Labour Law. In India such Monster Managers would be not only maimed but ROASTED ALIVE as it was done in Haryana.
It is a shame for his wife to have such a stone hearted husband and for his sons such a wicked father. And if his sons are his real sons then they will teach him a very good lesson for destroying the life and future of the staff working under him.
Generally speaking I found managerial class of people in Kuwait is a corrupt, selfish and looters. During the invasion period of Kuwait many of the companies were looted by their own expatriate managers. They were ungrateful to Kuwait from where they minted money undeservingly. If they had gratitude to Kuwait they would have publicly raised their voices in their countries against the invasion of Kuwait. I did it in Goa, India. It is recorded and documented.
