By sentencing the 4 Rapists of Delhi girl, the
sentencing Judge proved to be upright in delivering the judicious
judgement. With this judgment one step
has been cleared for the gallows for all the four rapists. The next step to achieve real justice for the
victim and all the multitude of people not only from Delhi and in other parts of India
but also from all over the world, their sentence should be implemented. The real
justice will be fulfilled when the next Courts
– Appeal Court and even the Supreme Court approve the preliminary judgement
delivered recently by the Fast Track Court.
Meantime is there any real possibility for
these Rapists to go for an Appeal to the
Higher Court? And if yes, who will bear the heavy expenses
for the high profile Lawyers to fight for these Rapists?
All the 4 Rapists are poor financially and in such a situation who the
financiers coming forward to bear their expenses and for what benefits? This is
a big question for me to answer but it is very intriguing. It is not only for
these Rapists but even for others who commit worst crimes and worst robberies,
financiers immediately come forward to hire top Lawyers for the perpetrators of
crimes of different nature.
Coming back to the juvenile Rapist who
masterminded this rape from the point of coaxing the victim and her boyfriend
to travel in their Bus, deserved more severe punishment of the type Saudi Arabia
gives. It is very risky to allow this boy to move freely after his release in
another two years because he will go for another rape and more rapes which
satisfy his greed for forbidden fruit. He knows the taste of
such crimes and knowing this very well he will surely try for the more such
rapes.
These Rapists are sick in mind and precisely because of this sickness they indulge in rapes otherwise they would satisfy their sexual urge thru legal ways by going to the prostitutes who are plenty in Delhi's brothels.
In order to control juvenile's illicit sex crimes in future, I
strongly feel that while in the prison serving his sentence he should be
punished with “Chemical Castration” so
that he does not get the urge again for committing rapes on innocent girls. It is time
for the authorities concerned now to put a complete full stop for his sexual
urge otherwise there is every possibility for him to disturb the peace of
society. It is said that "when Lion
tastes blood of his prey he is restless for more and more". This is what will happen to the juvenile Rapist.
Secondly, as it is done in some advanced
Western countries, once this juvenile is released from the prison, his
residential area should be tracked and in that locality all the residents
should be made aware of this boy’s presence and residence there so that all are
alerted to take precaution of his presence in their locality.
It is very dangerous to leave him free to
do what he wants. He is a young boy
without any proper direction with full of anger and revenge which surely he will
release on any of his prey.
Finally, I request the Indian Human Rights
activists not to interrupt the sentencing judiciary saying the punishment allotted
to the 4 rapists is not correct. They
should not demand from the authorities to spare these rapists from going to the
gallows. I am sure if any of the female Human Right activists was raped, they
would ask for more severe punishment.
Human Rights are meant for human beings only and not for such wild animals. These rapists have no place in society and as such their punishment
should be upheld.
