Seen in the picture above are Mr. Wilfred D'Sa - Guest of Honour and Prof. Nelly J. Rodrigues - The Chief Guest for Tiatro "Advogad" to be staged on Friday 25th of this month at 3.30 PM at Da'iya Fencing Hall.
Seen in the picture above are Piedade Baptista and his wife Cecilia Baptista, both have already arrived in Kuwait to attend the Tiatro "Advogad" on Friday 25th of this month at 3.30, at Da'iya Fencing Hall, Kuwait.
Gate Passes are available at Limra Cargo Service, Opp. GPO Salhiya Tower, Basement, Shop No. 9. Mr. Tony Pereira. Tel. Nos. Mob: 99581491 or 97643536."I did not call Goans squealing pigs, I said, even in case of "developmental" projects our NGO's squeal, like pigs do, even when they are taken for other than killing" was the clarification made by our esteemed PWD Minister, he further says that if any can prove that he called Goans squealing pigs he would resign. Damage control at it's best, has any Ministers actually resigned for their follies in Goa before, even after all the scams ? Some of them who did, were forced to resign. By the way which NGO's is he talking about, which NGO is opposing the Raheja's "developmental" project, if our esteemed Minister say so ? Raheja's "developmental" project is opposed by the very residents headed by Orlando who is infact fighting against the illegalities in the project, I sure hope our esteemed Minister knows the difference between opposing "developmental" project and fighting against illegalities in a project. Just because he, a Minister, scribbles a note on his letter pad does not make illegalities legal. He should know better or does he think that the Law starts and ends with him in Goa ?
In India we all know how very easily evidence can be cooked up as well as be destroyed, it's been more than three weeks for the incident and he asks for a proof now ? On second thoughts he most probably did not say that the Raheja's "developmental" projects would create employment opportunities for Goans as "watchmen" too, it was just his opponent from Navelim who is trying to defame him and put him down in the eyes of Goans. All the problems he has had with building of his bridges, his developmental mega housing projects, his widening of the NH and may be even the MOPA project must be the handiwork of his opponent from Navelim. Is Churchill suffering for "the Navelim opponent" phobia or is he scared of his very own shadow ?
When will Churchill and his thirty nine rotten collogues understand that the Goan people who had elected them are opposing not the "developmental" projects but those projects that are illegal and those that are detrimental to the progress of Goa and Goans. All these mega projects have made the lives of Goans even more difficult, with the woes of the common men ever increasing. Water in the taps is a rare phenomena, electricity more often than not does the disappearing act, garbage is still a monstrous issue, sewage has always been an overflowing glitch, in a situation like this what does our esteemed Minister expects Goans to do ? Sit back and get ourselves run over by the wealthy non-Goans and the migrants ?
There is a new flagship that the Minister has started to revive his drooping image, it's called the BPL carrier, the vote bank accumulation scheme, I do ask the esteemed Minister to give us the statistics of how many Goans and how many migrants from his Navelim constituency have benefited from this scheme ?
Our esteemed Minister also said that his and his family's sacrifices for Konkanni are unmatched and that people will remember his good deeds only after his death. Does it mean we will have to wait for his "Beatification" or his "canonization" ? In life while he has been portraying himself well, as the man of the masses, he has been the one back-stabbing us Goans, for his own personal gains, he has been a thorn in the side of Goans ever since the Konkanni movement. If he has so much love for our mother tongue why are we still fighting for Romi Konkanni to be given equal status ? If he has done so much to stop MOPA and save Dabolim, why is MOPA still going ahead ? Goans are certainly not fools enough to be fooled all the time. Your time is up Mr Churchill Almeao and please don't even think of getting a ticket for your daughter, right now we Goans would rather have pigs on our menu than Alemao's for the next election.
