I wholeheartedly welcome the release from the House Arrest for the last 7 years of Burmese political activist Aung San Suu Kyi. It was very encouraging scene to see her walking freely and openly along with her supporters after her release. Condemning to live in solitary confinement for the last so many lengthy years, I thought she would lose her sanityand self confidence. But no, she looked perfectly well and upright. I admire her for not talking ill of the regime that sentenced her to thissolitary confinement. Instead of talking ill she talked of the language of reconciliation with the regime, truly in Ghandian way and as followed by Nelson Mandela when he was released from the prison in Soth Africa. Eye for an eye and tooth for tooth is not the proper way to solve the problem. It is only thru goodwill she can earn better dividends for her fight for introduction of genuine democracy in Burma.............
