Last week among all the Konkani Albums displayed for sale in Kuwait City Video Cassette Shop, I found one VCD , “ALL THE BEST” by Socorro de St. Cruz is worth watching because it contains good Skit and interesting songs rendered by some of the prominent Konkani Stage Artistes, namely Sucorro de St.Cruz, Anicieto, Anthony San, Sabina and others.
The Skit was well done by all the artistes but the major credit must go to Sheikh Amir not in doing mimicry but by doing an excellent role of a “Bebdo”. It was he who brought more beauty to this Albun by acting like a real drunkard. In looks and in appearance he is just the late Jacinto Vaz but in performance he proved to be better than Jacinto Vaz with his flexible and acrobatic body.
Well done Bab Soorro de St. Cruz and your entire cast.
