CHURCHILL ALEMAO & NEXT ELECTION.

Finally the election date for Goa Legislative Assembly has been set on 2nd of next month. Every politician and every political party is trying to woo the voters with Himalayan promises when in the past they have failed miserably in delivering the goods. All are proved to be first class liars, first class cheats and first class crooks. Again the same first class liars, first class crooks and first class cheats are going to contest the coming election. BJP is trying to show its false secular image while Congress is trying to be sincere but both have failed the Goan voters. By capitalizing on the communal nature of BJP, Congress is trying to befriend us and in the bargain looting and destroying Goa as none of the political parties are doing. By uprooting Maharajas, Congressmen are become another Maharajas, they have taken over the roles of Maharajas and are forcing the people to accept them as such. Congressmen have taken over the feudal roles of the colonialists and themselves have colonized the minds of the common persons. What colonialists and Maharajas did not succeed to do are now Congressmen doing. These Congress rascals in the name of Mahatmah Gandhi are doing worst of crimes against the interest of common people. By invoking the name of Ghandiji they are degrading and disgracing the fair and immaculate image of Bapuji. They claimed Ghandiji was a member of Congress Party but they have no guts nor marbles in their pants to say that Ghandiji finally revolted and disowned Congressmen because of the crooked nature of Congressmen. The same crooked nature of yesteryears Congressmen are now emulated by our present fake Congressmen in Goa. These Congressmen want Ghandiji’s name to win the election and not to follow the foot-steps of Ghandiji. It is a shame on them to use and soil the fair image and spotless integrity of Ghandiji for personal and election gains.

BJP is again going to use its communal card because MGP has given them on silver platter this card to disgrace the political situation in Goa. No sensible Goan and no sensible person should vote for communal BJP. It is the turn of every voter especially the secular voter to teach a very good lesson to Parrikar and his party BJP in the coming election. Voters must exercise their rights now in the coming election to teach an appropriate lesson to Parrikar who is all out to convert Goa into another Gujarat of Modi. Christians and Muslims should be more lert because by electing BJP to power they are to lose and suffer. This does not mean Congress is a good party and an option to vote. However, it should be noted that in the garb of its fake secularism Congressmen in Goa are committing worst crimes against their own supporters, of course oepnly and in a deasguise manner.

This is the time for Goans to elect upright, sensible, secular and sincere persons. “Save Goa Front” is the newly established political party in Goa backed by Churchill Alemao. Mr. Alemao is a great lover of Goa and Konkani. One of the reasons for the success of Konkani movement in Goa in eighties leading to the recognition of Konkani as an official language of Goa and granting of statehood on Goa, was the laborious efforts of Alemao brothers especially Churchill. His efforts were so fruitful during those days that the Rane Government had no other option but to prowl on him and if possible to liquidate him. To prevent this finally Churchill Alemao had to go underground for about a month otherwise he would be killed by Rane’s police brought from Ghanttar exactly the way the first Konkani martyr Florian Vaz was killed by the Ghantti police of Rane at Cogol in Margao. I have great admiration for the contribution Churchill Alemao put in for the promotion of Konkani cause. And now I am very glad to know that he is going to take up the issue of Romi Konkani in the next Assembly after the coming election. His party "Save Goa Front" has already inscribed in its manifesto this as one of the clauses. No other political party so far declared its real intention vis-à-vis Romi Konkani issue.

Once elected, Churchill Alemao has got one bad habit of deceiving his voters and defecting to some other parties of his choice, that is, the parties that give him the Lollipop which consists of ministerial berth and portfolios of his choice. He did this bad act of defection against the wishes of his voters in 1990 when he spearheaded the defection from Congress to form PDF Government by aligning with the communal MGP the very party that worked against Christians and Konkani. Then he also joined UGDP and again jumped into Congress. Defecting and changing parties is like changing of shirts for him. The voters and people supporting his SGF now must ask Churchill Alemao in strongest terms this question: “CHURCHILL ALEMAO! ONCE YOU ARE ELECTED, WILL YOU BE SINCERE TO YOUR ELECTORS, YOUR PARTY AND ITS ELECTION MANIFESTO OR YOU WILL REPEAT THE HISTORY BY INSULTING AND IGNORING YOUR VOTERS BY DEFECTING TO SOME OTHER PARTIES TO GAIN PERSONAL BENEFITS FOR YOU? Answer now Churchill Alemao! At the time of the formation of PDF Government you went even to the Hindu Temple and swore on the Coconut purely in anti-Christian discipline. Now can you Churchill Alemao, in Christian discipline and as a Christian man, will you swear on the Cross that you will remain faithful to SGF and abide by its principles and promises? “.

I want Romi Konkani that is sure but surely I don’t want another defection from Churchill Alemao. All the Tiatrists and especially Wilson Mazarello the convenor of Romi Konkani Front must pose this CRUCIAL question to Churchill Alemao very forcefully and very openly because from past experience I have a feeling that if he gets what he wants, Churchill Alemao may even join anti-Konkani and anti-Romi front. After ascertaining these facts let Churchill Alemao be assured of the help of Romi Konkani supporters.

This is the time now for all of us to unite under one banner and show our strength. We Kuwaitkars in particular and Gulfakars in general have family members, relatives and lot of freinds in Goa. Their votes are in our hands and by instructing them we can sway the outcome of the next election. Do not underestimate us and do not misjudge us. We love Goa, we love Konkani, we love Romi Konkani and above all we love the well being of our dear Goa which so far was destroyed by the politicians of all shades for their personal benefits. We will work with our relatives and friends to assert our opinions.

MINI MARIOS TROUPE ARRIVED IN KUWAIT.

KITEAK HO BAZAR CHOLTA - Tiatro.

All the artistes from Goa participating in the Tiatro "Kiteak Ho Bazar Cholta" have already arrived in Kuwait, including evergreen Felcy who will play the leading role along with pony tailed Willy.

Today they will be joining the organisers in attending the Church service in Kuwait City at 8.00 AM and after that they will meet their friends and well wishers at Sour Ground.

On behalf of myself and all the like minded Tiatro lovers I wish the entire troupe of Mini Mario total success in their show today at 3.30 p.m., at Hawally A/C Hall.

I also wish all the local artistes participating in this Tiatro all the best.
