According to the information, our country’s premier is likely to visit Goa very shortly for electioneering whence once again he will fool the Goans by telling nothing but unwanted lies in which he gained expertise. I am sorry if I am a bit hard but I don’t expect lies from our premier whom we revere so much because by virtue of being a premier, this reverence and respect automatically goes to him. Any Prime minister may be a donkey as we have so many in the world but once he occupies his top chair his respect and impression changes to 360 degrees to a positive side. Everybody expects him to be upright as per the status of his high post. His one word we must consider as gospel truth and it should be treated as “if comrade Napolean said yes, it must be yes” without having any doubt. This should be the credibility of our premier which is based on “Ceasar’s wife should not only be not suspected but she should be above suspicion”. But is our premier deserve this credit as far as his last Poll time promises are concerned? Surely not. Because of this negative answer, it is a shame for us to have such a Prime minister of such a mighty and lengthy country which we call as “Mera Desh Mahan!!”
He promised us last
time during his election speech this, “if you elect our party and both the
Lokhsabah candidates we will give you Special Status”. Is this promise fulfilled? No, with the
excuse that it is not possible. If it
was so, then why the hell did he promise us in the first place? Was he drunk on
that particular day when he gave us this promise? If yes, how can we trust the credibility and
security of our ancestral country Bahrat into the hands of this unreliable Prime
Minister? Does this discipline suit the
level of a premier? This type of cheap talk and hollow promises do not suit him
but they suit only to those who are brought up like urchins without proper
family base and tradition and not to the developed and civilized people like
us, Goans. We are a great people with
great past, great tradition, grear culture, great discipline, great behaviour,
great moral and spiritual history and great development under the 451 years of
pure Roman Catholic Church discipline inducted into Goa by the perfect
Portuguese Roman Catholicism. This is
the longest domination by any foreign power on any area in India because of
which it created a totally different moral discipline not only among the Goan
Catholics but also among the majority of Hindus and Muslims.
I have seen in outside
Goa and outside India, how the discipline and behavior of Hindus and Muslims are
different from our Hindus and Muslims. Our Hindus and Muslims are more refined,
docile, more cool temparementally, less agressive, morally much higher than
their counterparts in outside Goa. Our
Hindus and Muslims are more metropolitan and less narrow minded, they are more
God fearing and respecting their superiors more than others elsewhere. In one word our Hindus and Muslims are the
jewels of our land Goa purely because of the very good influence they had on
them from the Portuguese rule in Goa for 451 years. Because of this peaceful atmosphere there are no communal riots in Goa, there is more communal harmony and love among all the
three communities in Goa.
Sometime back I was
hospitalized in GMC for over a week where I came in contact with one decent and
intellectually advanced Hindu who was after his operation recuperating for a
few more days. When I questioned him the reason for taking treatment F.O.C. in
our Hospital, replied he within split of a second saying, “ It is not because
of F.O.C. facility but mainly because of the very good, very decent and humanely treatment we
get in Goa. Here in Goa, your Goan Nurses and Doctors are decent and God
fearing and thus they treat the patients decently with a humane touch”. When I
asked him such a treatment is not there in Maharastra”, replied he “definitely
no because India other than Goa was under the domination of only about 200
years and that too minus Catholicism”.
Then he went further “Goa is the only part of India which is blessed
more by God with the decent and civilised Western Power of Portugal and its
Catholicism. The 451 years of influence of Portugal and Catholicism has made Goa
a decent and peaceful place. And its influence even spread all over the Konkan region.
Second promise was to
bring back all the black money looted from India by millionaire looters and to
distribute it with Indians in India. This promise was also not fulfilled. Can a person of the stature of premier stoop
so low to lie his own people and lose their respect?
He also promised to put
an end to the mining crisis but it is now become worse. Mining problem was imposed by BJP under
Parricar when he in the opposition did all the groundwork to punish the
innocent people earning their livelihood. “To melo ani ghelo pun bhogtat babddo

and not on communal affiliation. The North Goans are inclining towards
communal lines that they must stop now and vote for a secular party. Do not allow BJP anymore chance to destroy Goa and finish it completely. In fact North Goa people are more responsible to vote for those who are anti-Goa, these are the same and shameless people who are crying now saying "amchem Goem atam bhaileani velem". Atam roddtat konank, were you not the same people including your elders who were giving on silver platter our Goa to Maharastra during the Opinion Poll? Good that we the Catholics remained firm by doing extremely high sacrifices to save from the jaw of Maharastra? The supporters of merger of Goa with Maharastra during the Opinion Poll wanted to merge Goa with Maharastra to teach Goan Christian a lesson but in the bargain they only were taught a lesson to such an extent that many of them lost their business as it was taken over by the "bhaile" and some of them even lost their daily bread. That they lost their daily bread does not make Christians happy on the contrary Christians are supporting them to regain their daily bread. One thing my brothers and sisters, especially the opponents of Christians ,please note that Christians will never get lost anywhere in the World, they may not get temporary luxuries of this world but definitely they will permanently get their daily bread because by virtue of being Christians they always pray to God day and night to provide them their DAILY BREAD" in the extremely high prayer that was taught to them by Jesus Christ Himself in 'OUR FATHER, WHO ART IN HEAVEN ……".
