About 35 years back India’s capital Delhi was named by some social activists as the capital of Rape and not the capital of India. How prophetic this name is!! And how relevant now this name is even after 35 long years.!!
The incident of naming Delhi as India’s capital of Rape was the raping of Chopra daughter in Delhi by the two third grade men namely Ranga and Billa, both were thin in their body structure moving about in Delhi in Cycles. Both were number one robbers and goondas though both physically looked like TB patients.
On one fine morning they both spotted Chopra children – a boy and a girl – both looked attractive, the boy was handsome like Bollywood hero and the girl his sister looked beautiful like a Hollywood heroine, both having fair complexion. The boy was well built and capable of handling physically one man easily. They were students whose father was a retired Navy officer residing in Delhi having only these two children as a son and as a daughter.
As I remember the events, when Ranga and Billa tried to molest Chopra girl, her brother intervened and challenged both the goondas physically but the goondas Ranga and Billa were professional goondas knowing how to beat and kill their opponents and precisely this is what they did to the young Chopra boy. Then they both took the girl to a lonely spot and raped her mercilessly and then killed her also mercilessly.
Immediately this news flashed everywhere and within a short time both Ranga and Billa were caught and arrested by the Delhi Police. Then the judicial process started and the Delhi Court sentenced both of them Ranga and Billa for Hanging. Within short period with all the legal formalities both were hanged and justice was not only seemed to be done but actually justice was done to the relief of those who demanded such a justice.
Now the eyes of entire nation is focussed on the Indian judiciary and the entire nation is expecting the Delhi Court will pass the sentence on all the 6 rapists of Delhi girl similar to the sentence passed earlier on Ranga and Billa. In fact the atrocities committed on the Delhi girl by all the 6 rapists are worst than that committed by Ranga and Billa and as such all the 6 rapist killers of Delhi girl according to a layman like me deserve worst type of punishment. And this punishment should be meted out to all the 6 rapist killers immediately. Only such punishment will meet the end of justice.
These 6 rapist killers of Delhi girl are not full-fledged human beings but they all are beasts and such beasts have no place in society. Their presence on this planet should come into extinction immediately.
