After the independence
of India, some Goan Freedom Fighters as per my information, went to Ghandiji
asking his help to liberate Goa from Portugal.
Ghandiji asked them: “You want liberation from Portugal? Why? Today you are ruled by the Portuguese but
tomorrow if you get liberation then I am afraid you may be ruled by the Delhi
Portuguese”. By reading the following
article reproduced from Face Book and written by a Mapusa based Young Goan activist
Sudeep Dalvi, you will get the confirmation of Ghandiji’s prophetic
statement.
The person who was acting like a dada with Goan Sudeep
Dalvi was from Delhi having lot of money.
The way he acted at Nerul, it looked that he owned not only the SOL DE GOA HOTEL but he also owned the village Nerul and entire
Goa.
We Goans have to take some
corrective steps to stop the dadagiri of these Delhites who are reminding me of the way Portuguese
people were acting so arrogantly with Goans then. It looked Goa is still ruled by the Salazar
dictatorship. Earlier Portuguese bossed over us and now Delhiites. Is this bossism acceptable? Surely not.
It is not only in Nerul
but also elsewhere in Goa such incidents are happening because Delhiites
are become too nasty. We will have to
form our Goan private troops to protect Goans and Goan interest. Big Hoteliers are not interested in anything
except in making money by any means, at moment even by doling female employees
to the rich customers.
Goans should stop patronizing
Hotels like SOL DE GOA.

Last Saturday night I
was present at a place called "SOL DE GOA" in Nerul along with a few
friends.
I happened to meet by chance Gautam Hari
Singhania, son of Vijaypat Singhania, the founder of JK group, who owns
Raymond, JK Tyres and Cement and Kamasutra condom brands.
Perhaps had the man not been an offspring of
his father, his introduction would not have been more than a yet another bum in
the marketplace.
When we reached the place, the moron was
completely drunk, perhaps also high on drugs, and was reaching all the guests
and warning them, "You have f**king five minutes to leave my place."
As he did the same with to our group, I left
the place and occupied the sofa in lobby, but the "Whodlya baapa chi
aulad" was destined to come all the way to me and ask me "Who are
you?"
Entire management, the team of bodyguards and
chamchas sorrounded me as if I were a criminal out to bring harm to the
scumbag, this when I had not even moved up from my seat.
"Let me reply to his question... It's his
legitimate right to get an answer from me."
The manager literally begged, "Sir help
us to handle the sit.....,
"What situation? I am an invited guest
here.."
By then, the burden on earth was carried away
by his entourage and I was left yelling at the managers and waiters. They
wanted to push me away from his sight into the office room, but stopped short
after hearing some konkani lyrics composed instantenously for them especially
for the occasion.
Later I came to know that the son of rich dad
had booked the entire hotel for himself. Apart from the incident that occurred
with me, many of the hotels female staff, bartenders and room attenders were
verbally and even physically, yes physically abused by him. They all were
herded and locked in the office by the petrified management to save them from
the wolf on the prowl.
That was the moment, standing out of the
"Sol de Goa" when I remembered the story of a young girl called
Jessica Lal from New Dehli who was shot in her forehead by one such whodlya
baapachi aulad, just for refusing him a drink in a pub after the closure of
bar.
Was I lucky that Gautam Singhania did not
carry a pistol when he confronted me, or was he lucky for not being alone that
moment?
After this, all the witnesses to the incident
declined to corraborate my account, and upon their failure to do so, the so
called mainstream print and electronic media too pulled behind it's legs, for
what reasons anyone can guess better.
Till today, no single word of regret has come
forward from the management of Sol de Goa.
High and mighty corporate tycoons of India,
welcome to Goa.
We are ready with our pants down to get
sodomized by you.
