Fr. Bismark is no more,
his dead body is already found but as of now there is no concrete evidence to
prove the cause of his death though rumours said he was murdered by his enemies
for whom he was opposing for destroying the environment of Goa. If this is true then the life of activists in
Goa will be in danger. Hence, it is of
paramount importance that all the Goa lover Goans to come under one banner to
fight to get justice for this crime. We
cannot take things lying down. Sudeep
Dalvi and his band of energetic activists must spread its wings all over Goa
and create a mass awakening to get justice for Fr. Bismark.
By liquidating Fr.
Bismark if his enemies feel the voice of opposition is going to be silenced
thus clearing their path to destroy environment of Goa then these enemies of
Fr. Bismark are sadly mistaken. On the
contrary the enemies of Fr. Bismark will face opposition for their anti-Goan
activities with greater fury than what they faced from Fr. Bismark. Only the
time will give testimony to what I said and that time is not very far.
When the great Greek
philosopher Socrates of ancient Greece was forced to die by the rulers of that
time with the allegation that he was poisoning the minds of the youth, holding
the cup of Hemlock in his right hand, remarked Socrates thus: “if by
liquidating me you think you will have peace then you are sadly mistaken. The very youth whom you are going to protect
from following my philosophy will try to examine and probe the cause of my
death and when they find out that what I was propagating was right then they
will revolt against you with greater fury which you will never be able to
control. In view of this, what I could not achieve during my life time, the
youth will achieve after my death”
The same thing will happen
in Goa in the aftermath of Fr. Bismark death. The whole of Goa will probe the
cause of his death and once convinced they will release their anger on all those
who are responsible for his death; this anger of entire Goa will be uncontrollable.
When I met him for the
first time in Panjim during the musical protest on Tirakol, very humbly he
approached me to know who I was. Then I
met him many times during our protest meetings in Tirakol and elsewhere. He was
very affable and knowledgeable Goan whose absence we all Goa lover Goans will
feel. May his soul rest in peace.
