As per the available
information, Michael Lobo (MLA) during his speech at Sinquerim on 16th
of this month, for the inauguration of
children Park, said that he will work to appoint an enquiry commission to investigate the disproportionate asset accumulated
by some politicians and strongly reprimanded some elected Panchayat members who behave like Maharajas and Hitlers in Calangute. Some of these politicians are even known to
give ill-treatment to the locals when they come to the Panchayat office for any
official work, said Mr. Lobo. Michael Lobo with his humble background is,
inspite of reaching to such a high level, still the same having not lost
his originality. His simplicity and
accessibility even to his opponents has helped him to win the second term.
It is my request to Mr.
Lobo to apply this enquiry commission jurisdiction also to other villages including
mine too where Ladr-Pedru type of people are owning chain of Hotels and fleet of posh cars. We want to know from
where they acquired the money to accumulate this fat asset. Till yesterday these people had no proper
Cycle nor a decent house but by joining politics first at Panchayat level and
later on at upper level they acquired illicit wealth
beyond their imagination and this wealth makes them act like Maharajas and arrogant.
In my locality at least
2 “Ponch” Panch members are clearly indicating their wealthy assets by showing
their hotel/restaurant and other things they acquired thru the illicit wealth
they collected. They already got the taste of making money thru illicit
means. For this reason one of them is desperately
trying to get a slot for him to contest the election outside of his Ward
because his ward is gone into reserved ward.
The voters when they find such rogues contesting the election in your
ward, please kick them out because they are outsiders in your ward. Do not vote an outsider because these people
are like Ghattis who are interested only in their wellbeing.
Ths is the only
opportunity for the pople to show their anger on these Panchas who are rogues
and acting like Hitlers. Such Hitlers we
must send to the Gas Chambers otherwise they will send us to the Gas Chambers
if we allow them to win the coming election.
