POLITICIANS FROM CALANGUTE CONSTITUENCY.

According to the latest news, in Calangute constituency, both the former bitter foes Agnelo Fernandes ex MLA and Joseph Sequeira the leading Panch of Calangute have turned out to be friends once again.

In the last election for Goa Legislative Assembly both Joseph Sequeira and Agnelo Fernandes played a Tug Of War with their respective supporters for the  Calangute Constituency Seat and in the bargain with the help of Joseph Sequeira camp the soft spoken and humble man Michael Lobo won the Calangute Seat and Agnelo Fernandes lost the chance to retain his Seat thereby missing an opportunity to create a hat trick of wining this Seat for the third time.  While fighting their Tug of War, both Fernandes and Sequeira created enmity not only between both of them but also between their supporters as well.

Now as per the latest information they have patched up their differences and joined hands together to defeat the BJP candidate in the North in the coming Lokh Sabah Election.  Though not impossible to defeat BJP yet they must know that North Goa segment is not a Calangute constituency alone and moreover Calangute constituency is not Candolim and Calangute villages only, it is much beyond that over which the power of Sequeira and Fernandes is very limited.  In view of this they must not exaggerate their power. They must know as Shakespeare said that there are more things in Heaven than what they dreamt.

Besides, Michael Lobo hailing from Parra village which is a part of Calangute constituency is wielding lot of influence and goodwill even from his earlier adversaries because of the good work he is doing in his constituency even though some of his earlier colleagues now turned enemies are intentionally keeping blind to this fact. Moreover, he is not using vindictive tactics against his opponents as third class Panchas, Sarpanchas and MLA’s are doing in their localities and constituencies to harass the locals unnecessarily.

Though now Sequeira and Fernandes are become friends after a bitter tussle earlier to gain the supremacy of Calangute constituency, their respective supporters who unnecessarily and blindly also created enmity among them to support their masters are still on belligerent mood.  Who is responsible for this discord?  Are not both the masters who are using their supporters to get benefit for them? These supporters are now in a state of dilemma knowing not in what direction they will have to move. In this case the leaders became friends while their supporters are still remaining enemies. Both the leaders thought only of their personal interest without considering the interest of their supporters who according to one source have been cheated.

For sure we got the information that both Sequeira and Fernandes are become friends again but never heard the same has happened to their respective supporters.

Meantime, let us hope the friendship between Joseph and Fernandes lasts for longer period and not just a honeymoon period as normally happened in the past.

PADREAK NIB VONNACHEM.

“PADREAK NIB VONNACHEM”, says one Konkani proverb and this is what has happened to both the rejected heavyweight Congressmen Churchill Alemao and Francisco Sardinha, the former revolted when his demands were rejected. Both are ageing and as such they should both retire from active politics taking cue of what George Bernard Shaw has said , that is, “a man after 40 is a rascal and unable to think properly”.

I fail to digest the logic of Sardinha to remain in the Parliament till eternity, he should accept the fact that after completing a long inning as MP he should accept the verdict of his party and go out gracefully instead  of resisting and defying the party.  As a party member he should abide by the party decision. In fact he should be thankful to Congress Party for retaining him till now otherwise he should have been suspended from Congress when he was involved in the Marks scandal for his Subrinha and debarred from the Party when as a traitor he revolted and joined hands with Parrikar’s BJP to form his own government.  Now, clandestinely he pushed his son to contest the election to split the votes but his son beyond his own house compound wall is an unknown entity having only nuisance value.  Without father's blessing son would never go ahead in contesting election to split the Congress votes.  Congress Party without any delay should throw out Sardinha from the Congress otherwise from inside he will do more harm to Congress than from outside.

After the forcible annexation of Goa by Bharat, Dr. Gaitontde and Dr. Antonio Colaco were sent to the Parliament as nominated MP’s.  Immediately, Freedom Fighter Roque Santan Fernandes organized a Hunger Strike against the nomination of Dr. Colaco accusing him of Chmcha of Portuguese government.  Immediately Premier Nehru sent for Fernandes and when he met Nehru in Delhi, according to one source, Nehru told him “you deserve only one Seat but I gave you two and for these only two Seats you are making such a big nuisance?”

Both the two Parliamentary Seats of Goa are like a drop in the ocean but ironically because of both these two Seats whole of Goa is shaking as if 200 Seats are at stake. Both the MP’s are incapable of creating an extra ordinary impact in the Parliament as in the past; they will only enjoy the financial benefits, doles and other facilities for themselves and for their families. Very few people know how and where Sardinha and other MP's have spent the money allotted to them as MP's by the Central government.

Both the rejected persons are giving silly excuses accusing Congress High Command because they cannot accept to be nobody after enjoying the status of somebody. Both the Congressmen want to foist their kiddy children like many others, on Goa as if they are extraordinary politicians. These kids are nuisance in Goan politics.  In fact they are immature political babies deserving no seats even in the village Panchayat. There is no public demand for them in Salcette to contest the election because they are not President Roosevelt in  US producing extra ordinary economic "New Deal" which made the American public to force Roosevelt to contest the election for the third time by going against the two term precedent.

For both these Congress rebels Congress Party was good when their demands were accepted but bad when their demands were rejected. For this reason they give all the excuses to justify their revolt because it is said  “Padreak Nib Vonnachem”.

AILO CHURCHILL ANI GHELO CHURCHILL.

In early seventies, frequent defection was called as “Aya Ram and Gaya Ram” since one legislator in the North India, named as Ram made a mockery of the facility of changing his party and returning back with quick frequency.  This Ram reminds me of our Churchill Alemao who has created a record in changing parties as if changing of Shirts.  In Goa among prominent Congressmen only the late Purshottama Kakoddkar ex Congress President – Goa unit and a MP remained genuinely faithful to Congress party by not defecting to any other party with the exception of suddenly one fine morning disappearing from Goa and surfacing at Rishikeh.

Today in Goa if the Congress party is suffering for its survival and pristine dignity, it is only because most of the Congressmen are not faithful to the party as they are not genuine Congressmen.  They are in Congress party because they want to achieve their own personal goals of amassing wealth and power.  Prataph Sing Rane was not a true Congressman, originally he started his political career with MGP under Dayananda Bandodkar.  Francisco Sardinha responsible to give a footing to BJP to rule Goa was one of the worst Aya Rams and Gaya Rams, being a great political opportunist. Mauwin Godinho an expert in defection brought a disgrace on Congress Party when he betrayed Rajiv Gandhi with a Judas kiss by joining PDF and later on returning back to Congress fold.  Luizinho Faleiro and Tomazinho  Cardoso after flirting with Goa Congress of Dr. Willie for some time rejoined Congress Party shamelessly. And Digambar Kamat is no better than the other shameless defectors.

Regarding Churchill Alemao leaving Congress Party, I am fully confident from the past record that either today or tomorrow he will surely return to Congress Party which shamelessly like before will accept him back in its fold even though John Fernandes said none who leave the party will be reaccepted. This is a juvenile threat by John Fernandes who must know that Churchill Alemao and Congress Party are kiddy, neither has principles, their principles are self-interest. In the past the mighty Congress Party with a mighty history turned out to be a dwarf in front of physically mighty Churchill Alemao otherwise Alemaoisation of Goan politics would have ended long time back when PDF came to power thru Churchill Alemao piloted defection.  An expert in changing political parties Churchill Alemao will never change his habits of party changing and defecting which habit can be coined as "Ailo Churchill ani Ghelo Churchill" just like "Aya Ram and Gaya Ram".

APARTHEID IN GOA CHURCH.

While preaching his homily in his Baptist congregation Church in his home State at Montgomery in USA, the late civil rightist Martin Luther King told the Whites who as per the local preferential treatment for the Whites seated on the benches kept at right side and the Blacks at left side, that "if you cannot integrate with the Blacks then you will never integrate with Christ because Christ is come from the masses as Blacks". Then Martin Luther went further and said, discrimination in the Church and in the Church area is against the Christ’s teachings and as such it is an anti-Christian act.

Since time immemorial Goa Church has been practicing discrimination in the Churches and even in the Church compound just as it was done in the USA. Salcette was more notorious in practicing apartheid policy in the Churches and this apartheid was practiced on the basis of caste system. Unfortunately, according to me there was not a single priest in the history of Goa like Martin Luther King who forcefully fought against this Goan apartheid in Goa Churches.

When such a dirty practice was going on in our Churches, to my surprise I cannot imagine how both the Goan holy priests Fr. Agnelo and Fr. Jose Vaz failed to raise their voices as Martin Luther did against this Church promoted apartheid. Martin Luther felt the pinch of the apartheid because he was a Black and this pinch forced him to fight against apartheid. Similarly, both the Goan saintly priests were non-Brahmins and being so they must have felt the pinch of Goan apartheid more and inspite of this their silence on this speaks very low of them.

Recently, the Church authority below my nose has issued a circular indicating preferential treatment in the Church Parking area for the personal vehicles of the village Sarpanch, his Deputy, local MLA and even ex-MLA's. Minutely observing this circular one can easily notice there the Church promoted apartheid. Why such a preferential treatment even for the ex-MLA's who for being corrupt were rejected by the voters? This apartheid should be stopped by the order of the Bishop because such discriminations do not suit in Christianity. Abraham Lincoln called such discriminations as Church inflicted barbarity. It is a shame for all those politicians receiving the preferential treatment to accept the same as if they are feudal lords when during their electioneering they preached equality for all just as Priests do in the name of Christianity. Both are corrupt - politicians as well as priests. These politicians by not identifying themselves with the common people are expecting Maharaja's treatment. In the next election common people must teach these artificial Maharajas a very good lesson.

Giving preferential treatment to the politicians is like giving such treatment to the rogues who suck the blood of the people and in this exercise some local Pe. Vigars playing a leading role is a matter of shame. During the last general election for Goa Legislative Assembly the Goa Church advised the Catholics to reject the corrupt politicians and now some Pe. Vigars from the same Goa Church are doling the corrupt politicians with preferential treatment as the Pe. Vigar does below my nose. I would not be surprise gradually to see the same Pe. Vigar reserving special seats to these politicians in front of the Altar to celebrate the Holy Mass and special burial spots in the Cemetery. What good and equality one can expect from the Pe. Vigar who himself is guilty of practicing discriminatory policies on the basis of caste system within his own family circle? I hope Goa Bishop at Altinho Panjim will take note of this and take corrective steps now only before things go out of the way.

According to my latest observation, many of the village Panchayats headed by their Sarpanches are bribe prone and unless they take the bribe they do not approve any of your plans. The bribe money then the Sarpanches distribute to all the Panchas supporting them on descending order, highest share to the Sarpanchas and the lowest to the Panchayat Peons. One of the major shares of this loot also goes to the local Pe. Vigars and because of this the local Pe. Vigars in many localities are closing their eyes to the loot systematically conducted by our Panchayats manned by the Catholics. This is the main reason for many of our Pe. Vigars to own Limousines and other luxuries from the doles they receive by giving preferential treatment to the corrupt politicians not only in the Churches but also in the Church compounds. This preferential treatment sometimes goes not only to the corrupt politicians but also to their domestic servants, dogs and cats as well.

Now it is clear how the local politicians erect their financial empires within a short time. When they start their political career in their localities they start as beggars but within a short period after looting the locals thru extortions and by demanding bribes they become rich and on top of it they don't even feel shy to move in society with their head high. Normally such politicians belong to the "Rostad" family background having no shame for committing illicit acts. And on top of it they go to the Church and pretending to be saintly receiving holy communion also. And because priests are party to their loot they close their eyes otherwise some Pe. Vigars bark from the Altars if anyone breaches any commandment.

SENHOR BISHOP, WHERE THIS MONEY GOES?

Every Sunday and on every feast day in our Churches money collection is done and this collection comes to some thousands of rupees as per the weekly announcement in the Churches by the priests. Earlier it was not announced but since a few years back this is done and it is a nice habbit for which Goa Church should be applauded. However, to maintain the full tranparency of this collection, the Bishop House at Altinho Panaji should issue a notification to all the Churches in Goa to declare openly how and where this collected money is spent. Thru this open declaration the faithful will clearly know how their money they gave to the Church are utilised and also whether it was utilised for constructive purpose.

When faithful give their money to the Church they expect the priests to make good use of it and when the priests declare the utility of this collection in a proper manner then the faithful become happy. Moreover, the priests are duty bound to declare to the faithful the proper account of this collection otherwise unnecessary doubts are creeping into the minds of the faithful thereby making them lose their trust not only in the priests but also in the Church as a whole.

Recently I have returned for good from Kuwait where according to my information this type of collection comes to a very big amount which in many cases utilised for luxuries of the priests. Inspite of the instruction of the Pope to curtail the use of luxurious cars by the priests nobody listens to Pope's advice. The priests and Bishop there live in pompous manner and this trend has been increased since a few years back when the Kuwait Church administration was given into the hands of Capuchin Society who are like extortionists charging the faithful fees for every Church service. Earlier it was not like this when Kuwait Church was in the hands of Carmelites. This is required for the Sankistao, Deacon, Priests and the Bishop to live a luxurious life which is against the teachings of the Christ.

In Goa according to my information, on the strenght of the weekly collection money some of the priests are living a sinful life thereby bringing bad name not only for them but also for the Church as a whole. Some priests on the strenght of this money are travelling the globe not to study soething good but to indulge in sinful luxuries. Recently, one friend of mine while on tour to Manila, came accross one Goan priest roaming in the Red Light area and when he asked the priest "Fr., where are you here?", replied Fr. saying "I lost the way". If our Gurus lose their way in this manner then the Catholicsm will also lose its direction in Goa making the Believers and other such sects to create a strong dent in our midst.

One of the reasons for the mushrooming of non-Catholic Sects in Goa is the greed for money and sex by the priests. It is very difficult in Goa to get an upright priest.

In Goa, most of the priests are sex maniacs and they have concubines not in ones and in twos only but in dozens because too much money without too much efforts and in too short time is going into the hands of too many priests who are a disgrace on Christianity.

TIATRO "BAULELIM FULAM" BY LAWRY TRAVASSO.

Well done Lawry Travasso.  Your Tiatro Baulelim Fulam is excellent which I saw today at 10.30 AM at Kala Academy Hall, Panjim.  Since it was a house full much in advance, it started in time. Musical score was beautifully provided by Norman Cardoso and his troupe.

I know Lawry Travasso as a good composer and singer but this is the first time I observed him as a good writer and director also.  Earlier by interacting with him from close angle since on two occasions he stayed at my place in Kuwait when we brought him to Kuwait to participate in the Shows of the late Rosary Ferns, I noticed in him a lot of liking for intellectual and philosophical subjects.  Based on this liking he penned down this Tiatro the title of which is figurative in sense in which the children must reward their parents with good treatment and not with bad as Baulelim Fulam.  It is a must see for all the sons to know how to treat their parents and thus avoid the devine punishment.

A small role in the ending part of the Tiatro played by Lawry Tavasso was superb befitting the director’s status and it is worth admiring. Mario Menezes role as a priest was good.  Rosy Alvares played a nice role of a mother while Chari excelled in the role of an ungrateful son. Others played their roles well.

Comedy was very well performed by John D’Silva, Sally and Richard who showed lot of enthusiasm.  Given more opportunities he will be a good asset for Konkani Stage.

In the Side Sow songs, some songs were in line with the Holy season while others on different topics including politics.  Francis de Tuem rendered his songs well so also Xavier Gomes, Marcus Vaz, Lawry Travasso and a duet by Tony de Ribandar & Antonette de Maina.   Rosy Alvares rendered her solo very well and her sorrowful canto in one scene was very beautiful, by rendering beautifully she gave an extra colour to it.

This Tiatro is again to be staged at the same venue on 21st of this month at 7.45 pm.

Well enacted Tiatro by Lawry Travasso and his troupe.

TREAT NAGRIVADIS AS ENEMIES OF ROMIVADIS.

It was nice to be present for the “DALGADO  PUROSKAR 2013” prize distribution function  on 6th of this month at Kala Academy, Panjim.  Since its inception, Dalgado Konknni Academy and Kuwait Goans have a good link and this link was created thru Kuwait Konknni Kendr – Kuwait when KKK assisted DKA with a donation of about 25,000 Rupees and also by enrolling of KKK members as life members of DKA including this writer. Kuwait Konknni Kendr and Dalgado Academy are the strong protagonists and promoters of Romi Konkani that was denied its rightful place by our so called brothers in the Konkani movement that is Nagrivadis.  The movement in eighties for the cause of recognition of Konkani was spearheaded by overwhelming majority of Romi Konkani supporters.  In fact Konkani as a language is kept alive by the Romivadis with the strong backing of the Church. By organizing Church rites in Romi Konkani, Christians of Goa are brought closer to Konkani and it was this Goan Christian community as a whole that supported the Konkani movement in eighties by attending the public rallies and public meetings.

During this Konkani movement there were so many Nagri supporters in Kuwait in particular and in other parts of the Gulf in general but none participated in this movement whereas this writer a Romi Konkani protagonist especially came down to Goa and participated in the public rallies in Panjim, received Lathis from Rane’s Ghantti policemen and even remained on hunger strike at Azad Maidan in Panjim for this cause. Besides,  Kuwait based Romi Konknni supporters joined together and donated a huge sum of money to organize this movement and also of KPA.  The efforts of Romi Konknnivadis for the cause of Konkani movement cannot be downgraded.  If today Konkani is enjoying the official status then the major credit should go to the efforts made by the Romivadis. This fact cannot be eradicated from the history.

During the Dalgado Puroskar 2013 celebration, in his speech Fr. Conceicao D’Silva expressed his disgust over the denial of due recognition to Romi Konkani thru the chicanery of Nagri Konknni stalwarts spearheaded by Uday Bhembro.  Later on during the same function delivering his speech as a chief guest, Mr. Vinayak Naik, the editor of Goa’s prestigious monthly magazine Goa Today in his hard hitting attack said that the Konknni that is used by the Nagrivadis is not Konknni but half Marathi by quoting some words from Sunaprant.  Further he lamented the selfish attitude of Nagrivadis to deny Sahitya Academy Literary Awards to Romi writers. In one word he condemned the Nagrivadis for denying the Romivadis their due rights when they fought more gallantly for the cause of Konkani.  Besides Romivadis had unique distinction of producing Martyrs for the cause of Konkani.

Now, in view of above, I feel it is time now for all the Romivadis to severe their relationship with Nagrivadis who are responsible for denying Romi Konkani its due place.  Nagrivadis like Uday Bhembros should be boycotted from the midst of Romi circle.  Nagrivadis strengthened their position on the all  round support  provided to them by the Romivadis.

Very few Romivadis have interacted with Nagrivadis as this writer did during his deep involvement in Konkani movement from Kuwait for the last so many years and by observing their nature I found them to be like Zionists.  The way the Zionists feel superior among Arab Palestinians in the same way Nagrivadis feel they are superior and Romivadis inferior.  Nagriadis are traitors because they have betrayed the Romivadis with a Judas Kiss.  Nagrivadis are robbers because they have robbed the Romivadis of their due credit for which they should never be forgiven.

Meantime, we as Romivadis must carry on with our campaign with greater vigour to get Romi Konkani its due place.  Until then we must treat Nagrivadis as number One enemy of Romivadis. In this tussle, Romivadis stand to lose nothing but only the gains they stand to win.

MAHAN MHOZO DES - 2.

It is now 10.45 pm and I am just arriving home from Calangute where in the Church compound I saw the Musical Show "Mahan Mhozo Des-2" staged by Tomazinho Cardoso and Tiatr Academy Goa. Scheduled to start at 7.00 pm, it finally started at 7.45 pm.  It was a free show where a good number of audience seen attending. Though it was a show of short duration where only songs and small skits were performed yet finally it turned out to be a bit lengthy because of the Housie Game and a documentary film shown during the interval.  The organisers must know that people came there only to see the Musical Show by calculating their time and not to waste it.  Just because priests got more free time that does not mean they should think others are also having free time to spend unnecessarily.  If they cannot adhere timing properly, they should not organize such Shows.  Even in the Churches many priests especially Pe. Vigars waste precious time of the faithful by telling unwanted irrelevant stories.

The major pressure of this Show was shouldered by Tomazinho Cardoso and his smart singer wife Irene.  In fact Irene played a stellar role in beautifully singing all the songs in which she participated. Her voice is very melodious and she sings with ease and confidence as a matured and seasoned singer.  Tomazinho also sang very well.

The other singers who rendered their songs well were Anthony San and youngsters Akash and Queenie Fernandes both of them were Kingfisher award winners.

Sheikh Ameer performed beautiful mimicry in which he imitated Narendra Modi, Rajiv Gandhi and Anna Hazare.

Short Skits were also performed in which it was shown how  badly we treat our females and how badly we respect Mahatma Gandhi.

This Musical Show is worth watching and there is no Chamchagiri on the part of Tomazinho Cardozo to please the Bharat Serkar.

Musical score provided was well yet it was very loud where the words of the singers were shadowed by the loudness of the music.

THE LATE ANTONETTE DE CALANGUTE.

"LUTTINI LOKAN BHORON ANI GHOSKOSEANI DUKHAM VANVON", that was the scene for the funeral of Antonette de Calangute on Sunday the 9th inst., in the afternoon at Colva Church and Cemetry where she was interred. Antonette hailing from Calangute, as a young school going girl with pretty looks first started acting in the local Tiatros in her village and in surrounding areas as well with much enthusiasm. After creating a dent into the top ladder of the Tiatro where she made a mark for her as a Tiatrist, she met her life partner Bonny Pereira with whom she finally got married. Bonny was my good friend in Kuwait where he was doing a decent job and time permitting was also acting in Dramas. It was Epa de Utorda who first brought him on to the Konkani Stage in his Non-Stop Show at Kuwait Church Hall where Bonny played a lead role and captured the hearts of the audience with his wonderful talent display. He was then a handsome young boy just as Antonette was beautiful young girl.

As a family to family relationship, her family and our family were very close and she was always treated like a baby by our people especially by my mother and my elder brother. She was a good friend of my younger sister and a colleague to her during her schooling.

Though because of my being abroad I had less opportunities to watch her more in action on the stage yet what I saw her was enough for me to assess her performance and talent. In the history of Tiatro, Andrew was the most talented actor doing female role of tragedy. While doig such roles he was not only making the audience cry but himself also was crying. He was a member of legendary Minguel Rod troupe. Miss Julie another male actor doing female role was also known to perform the role of tragedy. Ophelia Cabral a member of C. Alvares was very good in doing tragedy roles and many of the Tiators of C. Alvares became hit because of her super excellence in performing such roles. Veteran artiste Jessy Dias also remain tall in performing tragedy roles and watching her from close angle doing such roles I can rightly say she is one of the best artistes deserving the title of Ttragedy Queen.

Antonette de Calangute is also known to perform the roles of tragedy where she excelled extremely well. Though she was good in such roles yet she was equally well in other roles as well especially of rich woman with her majestic personality and rich dress code.

In Kuwait she performed many times and at least on 4 occasions she stayed at my place where I noticed the real beauty of her kind heart and greatness in her discipline. At my place many female artistes stayed during their Shows organised by us and Antonette always treated me like her eldelr brother. She was very soft spoken woman and always submissive, never retaliating for any harm done to her and never demanding. Her nature was totally different from many other female artistes. She had calm and cool temparement and her mannerism was excellent.

In her death we lost a very good tiatrist and I lost a good friend.

May her soul rest in peace and may the heavenly God give courage to her husband and sons to bear this big loss.

IN REPLY TO VERONICA'S ARTICLE.

Two beautiful articles last week one after the other by A. Veronica Fernandes in this forum created lot of ripples not only among Goans but also among other nationalities. The first was on Kuwait’s Liberation day function in Panaji and the other on Bastardisation of Managership.

Regarding the first one, I must admire Veronica to organize such a great function of international standard, his individual efforts in organizing this function is commendable. I was present there for this function and I appreciate Veronica the way he spoke on international topic as this function. Besides Veronica I dont think any one else can handle such subjects.

The presence of a top Kuwaiti for this function coming all the way from Kuwait first time in the history of Kuwait Goans was an important happening. Normally Kuwaitis do not mix up with Indians but with Goans they do and this credit goes to Veronica alone who brought Kuwaitis closer to Goans. And the honouring of Veronica by Mubarak Al Hindal on behalf of Kuwait with a Muffler depicting Kuwaiti Flag and with a Plaque was very deserving.

My only regret was that those Goans who earned so much from Kuwait when they don’t deserve it remained absent from attending this function organized only to show our gratitude to Kuwait. Most of them are Christians and by not attending they showed their ingratitude to the country from where they earned their daily bread. This act of ingratitude is anti-Christian. I cannot imagine how Kuwait Goans have gone to such a low level. By working in Kuwait they accumulated so much of wealth, built Bungalows, acquired properties and married to affluent girls and built their families. This happened only because they happened to be in Kuwait otherwise it would not have been possible. God forgive them for their ingratitude. Ingratitude is common only with third class people and among Kuwait Goans there are plenty of them.  In his own village Candolim and in his own Vaddo Pintos most of the ex Kuwaitkars ignored this meet purely as third class people and they are third class.

Sadly there was not a single Tiatrist nor a single Padri when both these communities benefitted so much from Kuwaiti Dinars.

Regarding the second one, I fully agree with Veronica who clearly mentioned in this article the harassment the German manager inflicted on poor employees. It was not only in Behbehani but in most of the companies the Managers are harassing the staff. Veronica must write more and more on such topics and send the copies to the Kuwaiti owners. Veronica is the only person who can write on such topics while others like domestic servants only talk.

BASTARDISATION OF MANAGERSHIP IN KUWAIT AT BEHBEHANIS.

While working for Behbehani Motors Company at Shuwaikh in Kuwait for a long time, I got myself involved in lot of extracurricular activities outside my work premises and in the subjects which had no connection with my job. Because I was doing these activities my superiors were jealous of me especially my Nazi type superiors. Georg. Dzierzon a German who was born and brought up in Germany during the Nazi era of Hitler was my general manager. He became general manager as a donkey without knowing proper ABC  in English  and a little English he learnt was in the British Council Tutorials  and for such a donkey to reach to the top position  means  great.  This greatness he achieved not because of his excellence on the job field but because of something else not related to the job.  He was such a cruel rascal that like a master he was treating staff working under him as slaves, extorting work from them by threatening not only with dismissal even for a minor mistake but also with deportation as if he was the Interior minister.  By taking advantage of the local Labour Law which was not in favour of the labour force he would destroy any employee whom he desliked and in such a situation and in the absence of Trade Union the poor employees would suffer the mental torturing by this Monster.
His treatment to the staff was so ruthless that some staff members had even undergone mental stress.  He was a racist number one, employing staff for donkey’s salary but expecting from them genius work thus creating tension into the minds of the staff.  He was a sadistic minded man taking pleasure in giving mental torture to his staff. All these worst harassments he was giving to the staff working under him were for his own personal satisfaction without the knowledge of the owners of the company that is Behbehanis who are very good people and who don’t like their employees to be harassed but this Georg. Dzierzon a Nazi German was practicing all types of atrocities without the knowledge of Behbehanis whose very good image has been soiled by Nazis like Dzierzon and such others.
I, in my personal capacity was helping a Goan mother to get back the custody of her small son who  in a semi kidnapped state was taken by force by a South African couple. It was a big issue in Kuwait about 16 years back and the local media made this issue more sensational.  Indian Ambassador Mr. Nair a Malyali drunkard was supporting the South Africans inspite of my plea to him to help the mother to get back her Indian son. Then I came to Goa, met MP Sardinha to raise this issue in the Parliament.  Also I met Parrikar who was in the opposition then but nothing moved in my favour.  Then I came back to Kuwait and after exhausting all my vast influence joined together with the Uncle and Unty of the boy and filed a case in the court against South Africans.  Many Goans were afraid that with their power and influence the South Africans will destroy me but I was firm in my decision to render justice to the Goan mother.  On the eve of the final verdict after threatening me with dire consequences if I don’t withdraw from this scene the female South African complained to my general manager the Nazi Georg. Dzierzon telling him all lies against me so that he sacks me disgracefully from the job.

Like an idiot rascal this bloody general manager of mine believed everything what she told him as if it was Biblical truth and called me in his office along with my immediate manager and without asking me the actual facts started insulting me with anger.  This was the first time in my life in the company that I was insulted.    Since power was in his hands I could not challenge him but decided that once I return to Goa for good,  I will disgrace him so that not only he again but many like him in Kuwait refrain from acting rudely.  First of all he had no authority to involve himself in this topic by listening to a South African Bitch.  This matter falls beyond his jurisdiction but he like Emperor Nero got himself involved to please the female because he was a female man, a shameless person who was a disgrace on Managership.
The good image of Kuwait and that of Behbehanis is soiled by such managers because to protect their undeserving high salaries they are ready to do anything to please their top bosses even doling their wives to their bosses. When things were going hard for me in this Case to save my job since my Nazi GM kept his eyes on me, I told my Kuwaiti friends in Goa-Kuwait Solidarity Centre circle and one of them told me thus: “Does Dzierzon know who you are and what you have done for Kuwait when Kuwait was invaded?  Kuwait will never desert you and we as Kuwaitis will stand by you. Kuwait Church and its Bishop stood by me and all the right thinking persons as well.
One of my Kuwaiti friends while supporting me said: “when Kuwait was invaded by Iraq, under your leadership Goans made a big movement against Iraqi invasion of Kuwait but this Nazi General Manager did nothing in Germany inspite of earning millions from Kuwait.  Even Saddam Hussein men in Germany made demonstrations in Germany in support of invasion while Dzierzon was sleeping with concubines instead of raising his voice in support of Kuwait”.

As a matter of fact Dzierzon is a coward to do what I did for Kuwait.  He had no marbles in his pant to defy Saddam Hussein as I did. He can shake only weak people working under him.  He is the man responsible to spoil the very good image of Behbehanis by Bastardising his Managership.  And regretfully, we have in Kuwait almost in every company such Nazi G. Dzierzons who should be exposed openly.
