The curse of NEPOTISM raised its head very ferociously recently as seen in the death of Hindi Bollywood  glittering star Sushant Singh Rajput thru Suicide he committed in Bombay in his posh apartment on 14^th of this month. Those who harassed him to provoke him to commit suicide as per the complaint filed in the court by Advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha were the most prominent Bollywood stars namely Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Aditya Chopra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.  Besides as co-accused some more also are named such as filmmakers.

According to the information Sushant Singh Rajput  was the victim of Nepotism which was carried forward by his jealous towards him colleagues in the film industry. They were so disgraceful as per the news coming that they were campaigning against him to pull  him down deliberately  from the higher rungs of the Ladder of glory and fame, to defame him and mock at him.  All his excellent work from the Screen is looked down with disdain.  They are like gangsters ganging up against one man the late Rajput unnecessarily speaking ill of him.  Seeing this negative campaign and false propaganda against him, he was shocked and being unable to bear the systematic campaign carried out against him with meticulous precision, he finally took such a drastic  step that he committed a suicide which was not necessary and as such it was a wrong decision on his part as a mighty celebrity.  Committing of suicide is the task of a weak person and as such during the time of crisis we should be bold enough to face any calamity of any type.  Life is not a joke and as such we must be ready to face it stoically not as cowards by going for suicide. The perpetrators of the false propaganda and the negative campaign against Rajput were the supposed to  be well known and well popular Bollywood Filmstars.  

Was this nepotism confined only to the Hindi Film industry and is it not taken a foothold in our Tiatro Industry?  In fact, the worst Nepotism is taking place in our Tiuatro industry and it is not a recent development but it was existing almost from the time of inception of our Tiatro. The most jealous members of our society are some of the Tiatrists who got the crab mentality of one Tiatrist pulling down the other.  Normally one Tiatrist does not speak good of the other Tiatrist.  Most of the Tiatrists are jealous of one another, one popular Tiatrist is trying to destroy the other Tiatrist especially the upcoming one.  Some of the worst destructive Tiatrists are those who have already attained the peak of their career and from that top  position they are not ready to come down and if they get some compettion   and clash from others in the same trade then the top Tiatrits start pulling down the upcoming Tiatrists who are the hurdles  to those oldies enjoying heavy demand from the audience.  See one example of one great Tiatrist the late “Mr. X” who was even an awardee of two National Awards, because because of the competitiveness to him of one lady artiste who was performing her role much better than  Mr. X,  since the popularity  rating  started going to the second spot, Mr. X as a pure Nepotist and wielding vast influence in Tiatro industry being on No. 1 spot,  opposed that lady’s role of singing and stopped that poor innocent lady Tiatrist from acting in Tiatro any further  by following the condition put by Mr. Mr. X Tiatrist to all  the directors saying “IF SHE IS THERE IN YOUR TIATRO THEN I AM NOT THERE”. By using this condition Mr. X  destroyed one very prominent lady Tiatrist because by using his philosophy of,  if I don’t end her career now only then she will end  my career”, “it looks like survival of he fittest” theory.   

Let me go back to Kuwait.  Rosary Ferns was one young but most seasoned Tiatrist from Colva. He was easily the best Tiatrist, best script writer, best songs composer, best Mandoist as composer, singer of Mandos and Dulpods, writer and promoter Operettas and expert one act play writers.  His best speciality lies in composing and introducing in his Tiatros most beautiful Cantos of which type not a single Tiatrist is composing.  I can eaeily equate him with the greatest Canto composers in the history of our Tiatros namely first was Minguel Rod, second place comes M. Boyer, third place comes Aristedes Dias and on the fouth place comes Rosary Ferns.  But from his recent Tiatros I saw,Pal Soares is following  Rosary Ferns. Some of the Cantos of Minguel Rod were of such a high quality that one couyld see nothing among the audience but crying and sobbing.  Some of the yesteryear Tiatrologists and top solfists and Musicians equated some of the  sorrowful Cantos of Minguel Rod to the Latin Motets we used to sing in our Churches during the Lent Season.  Such was the  fabulous qualities of great Rosary Ferns who worked in Kuwait for a good number of years and showed his Tiatrical talent in Kuwait. Besides, he had unique distinction of releasing the First Konkani CD which was released thru the hands of one renowned Konkani mogui and Konkani supporter in Kuwait Raymond D’Sa AT Kuwit Plaza  Hotel, Kuwait.  

Because of his talents the “Kulleo type” of Tiatrists  with Nepotism of the type Bollywood  faced, Rosary too  got  even to the extent not only of boycotting him from Tiatrists circle but imposing a total ban on his activities on Konkani Stage in Kuwait.  Not only that they prepared the groundwork to boycott Rosary Ferns even from joining the Kuwait Tiatristanchi Sonstha out of pure jealousy by all the third class Tiatrist based in Kuwait and some of them were developed as Tiatrists by Rosary ferns. The mastermind of this disgraceful act was none other than the most coprrupt, the most fazil, the most “pochpochit” Tiatrist  the Super Star of Konkani Stae based in Kuwait. But why not a single Tiatrist  from that circle opposed this move of boycotting Rosary Ferns?  All those members of the Kuwait Tiatristanchi Sonvstha who were simply nodding their  heads for the Super Star were not meant to fight for justice. 

Because of this type of nepotism many other innocent Tiatrists and even contractors suffered even to the extent of their means to earn them their livelihood.  This is not correct, this type of nepotism should not be repeated, those who performed this type of nepotism they suffered enough.  Good that those who suffered did not commit suicide like the Rajput from Bollywood.  Let Konkani Stage not suffer such a tragedy as Bollywood suffered.  God alone can save our Tiatrists.
