Today, 15th August is the Independence Day of India. I send my greetings to all the Indians who are really proud to be Indians and wish them all and all the best to India as well.
Indian citizenship was imposed on me by Nehru’s Congress Government in December 1961. Since I had no choice I have accepted it because it was forced on me thru the use of military force used by the Indian Government from Delhi headed by Nehru. As a Goan I was never a part of India headed by Delhi. After current India use military force to drive away Portuguese from Goa, I with no choice had to become the part of now corrupt India. It hurts me to be a part of such a corrupt country manned by corrupt politicians. India is the most disgraceful country because of its highest level of corruption. Though India is a rich country yet its richness is devoured by the few “chor” politicians. The best of India’s benefits are enjoyed by a handful of disgraceful politicians. The nations wealth meant for the entire Indian populace is cornered by the few politicians for them and for their family members. The Indian politicians are living and acting like former Maharajas of India or more than that at the cost of the poor Indians. These corrupt politicians having record of robberies, crimes and other ill doings are ruling India now. What good can one expect from these rascal politicians?
I feel ashamed to declare that I am a citizen of this country which is ruled by rascals who are rascalising this great country to suit their own benefits. Unemployment is rampant in India. Politicians are voted not on the basis of their caliber to create employment opportunities for the jobless Indians but on the basis of their money and muscle power. Indian politicians are so bad that they have not only seized the votes of the citizens by money and muscle power but they have seized the voters bodily and soully as well. Voters are no more independent in India; they are made slaves by their candidates who control them bodily and soully. Average and poor Indian is not independent in India. The fruits of independence India got in 1947 have not reached to these classes of Indians. They are very much dependent on their masters who are ruling India. The meaning of independence is a joke for them as it is for me.
Minorities are treated as slaves in India and there is no protection for their lives in India. US Human Rights Agency has already blacklisted India as greatest violators of human rights. Minorities especially Christians are living in fear in India, so too Muslims. I don’t believe in reality Indians are independent. Prior to August 15th 1947 Indians were slaves of British and now they are slaves of Indian Politicians and corrupt Indian political system. There is no hope left for poor Indians and minorities to get justice from this so called independent India manned by the corrupt political leaders. I am as a citizen of India is very much dejected because I have no hope India will give justice to the minorities, justice to the poor and justice to the weak and suppressed.
I regret to be a citizen of India which is so corrupt and regretfully this system is accepted by one and all, either voluntarily or involuntarily. God alone can save poor and weak Indians and God alone can save India from disaster which will surely fall on India either today or tomorrow because the foundation for this disaster is already laid by the corrupt politicians of India who are shamelessly rulingIndia.
