THE LATE SHASHIKALA KAKODCAR.

The greatest enemies of Goa and Goans were Dayananda Bandodcar and his daughter Shashikala Kakodcar who fought vigorously to liquidate Goa and Goans.  They both used their political and official might to further their fight to victory but true Goans fought against their sinister move to protect Goa from getting into extinction. This was during the Opinion Poll when as a young school boy I was kept occupied even by neglecting my studies and other necessities in campaigning and canvassing for TWO LEAVES a symbol of anti-merger in order to oppose their move to merge Goa with Maharastra.

May her soul rest in peace and may the heavenly God forgive her for fighting against Goa, Goans and Konkani.  She gave lot of sleepless nights to genuine Goans to devise ways and means to counter her moves against the interest of Goa. Our elders also faced lot of inconveniences to defeat her moves.  Thank God both she and her father are dead and gone. It would have been better if her father had to go earlier in which case there would be smooth sailing for non-mergerists like us.   

She was according to me a fierce communal woman having anti-Christian feelings. Denying grants to English medium schools by her when she was in power  was a  method she used to punish the Diocesan schools.

Her open deslike for Catholics in Goa came when she insulted the head of Catholics by making an open statement  saying “by asking clemency for criminal Kumar, Bishop Rahul Gonsalves made a big show of his cheapness”.  This was when court sentenced Kumar for gallows.  Our Bishop then pleaded for mercy for Kumar by commuting the death sentence to life imprisonment. Incidentally, within a short period as a punishment for her, her government collapsed and she became a non-entity while our same Bishop remained as Bishop only.

She was called Iron lady by some people but why I don’t know.  She was feeble principled woman for this reason she  changed so many parties after she lost power.  Because of her father she got foothold in politics otherwise she was nowhere.

TREAT ERRING STUDENTS WITH DIGNITY.

This is in reference to the last week suicide committed by a young female student of Mapusa School after she was caught for copying in the examination. When she was put to shame openly in the School, she took poison for being unable to bear the unbearable humiliation.  

Just as corporal punishment is banned in schools so too the “naming and shaming openly” for students caught copying should be banned though copying is wrong.

Corporal punishment was officially banned with an official decree by the last Portuguese Governador of Goa, His Excellency Vassalo e Silva, a great lover of Goa and an educationist who made Portuguese education compulsory somewhere in 1957 for any child attaining the age of 6. When he came to Goa, corporal punishment for students was rampant without any mercy.  In my village it was brutally implemented in my Parochial School and also in Portuguese school where one of my Professors Eduardo D’Souza who when found guilty of breaking the Eardrum of one local student with a Boxer’s blow, the  government decreed the law banning the corporal punishment.

In my school at Arpora under Fr. Mendonca as a Principal of that great School, corporal punishment was inflicted very brutally.  Students found copying during the examinations were displayed like hardened criminals in every examination class and heavily caned on both the palms in addition to Zero marks in that particular subject besides being totally humiliated which affected the students mental outlook verily severely more due to the extreme humiliation.  Because of this cruel  punishment many students suffered physical and mental pain and unbearable humiliation that forced them into leaving not only their schools,  villages and localities but Goa too.  That was the sad part of our history.

The harsh punishment in schools during our time as students was tolerated because that time was different when human rights were not followed that strictly but now the time is changed.  Treating a girl with shame and humiliation is not good and it is not acceptable either though her act of indiscipline is not correct.

In view of this, I feel all the heads of the schools in Goa must follow the decent, humane and civilised methods to correct the erring students.

WHY SHOULD I VOTE FOR BJP AGAIN?

Why should I vote for BJP again when I know this party has failed us by not fulfilling its given promises in the last election?  Its greatest failure was non-fulfilment of the major promise of granting of Special Status to Goa.  We want to save our land for future generation  and other facilities to protect our identity, for this reason we want Special Status for Goa. 

We were cheated by Portugal as well as by Bharat when in 1974 the treaty of officially surrendering Goa to Bharat was signed between these two countries without according any special privileges for Goans.  When Pondicherry was surrendered to India, Pondicherians were given so many facilities including that of their land, by India.

Similarly for Macau by Portugal when it was surrendered to China. But for Goa nothing. Neither Portugal nor Bharat thought anything good of Goa and Goans. Bharati system has made Goa  a foot-ball ground for anyone to play.

Goans voted for BJP in the last election after BJP leaders promised to grant Special Status to Goa. But to our dismay,  BJP  refused to fulfil this promise and cheated us. Our favourite BJP MLA’s are cunningly remained silent on this topic. I don’t know what guts they will gather to come again to our doors for begging for our votes. I find among BJP MLA’s there is not a single one who is a real Goa and justice lover otherwise he would have fought vigorously with his party leadership to fulfil the given promise of Special Status and demand justice for Fr. Bismarq.

In view of this great blunder, how can I trust and vote for BJP again and how BJP candidates and followers can request me to support their Party unless they are shameless, crooks and traitors?  Can any upright person trust this party and its members who are guilty of this great betrayal?

NEW TIATRO "GOEM KONN SAMBALLTOLO".

Today at Mapusa, at 10.40 AM, I saw the new Tiatro “GOEM KONN SAMBALLTOLO” written and directed by Mario Menezes.  This being the inaugural show it was  well performed by all the artistes without  any hitch normally associated with the first show and it was attended by the capacity attendees.

In this Tiatro, the patriotism of Mario Menezes towards Goa was bursts and erupted like  a volcano spreading molten lava all around the Hanuman Theatre.  In this play, Mario Menezes tells how  risky it is to leave Goa and go to London and elsewhere when we have plenty of opportunities in our own Goa where the migrants mint money.  If this trend of leaving Goa is continued, he asked “who will protect Goa?”

In the play, Mario Menezes himself along with Jessica Gomes plays an excellent role.  They both paired well as husband and wife  while Rosy Alvares pairing with Franky as his wife does justice for her role. The little irritant was the  unwanted screaming while delivering the expressions.

The story of the play is the need of the hour and it is high time that we Goans especially the Christians implement it practically if we want to save  and protect our Goa.  Mario Menezes also came hard on those Goans who sell their land to the outsiders indicating the ill effects of these deals.  He said it is our duty to protect out land for future generation concluding that what belongs to the future generation  we have no right to dispose of.

The play got extra booster with the introduction of nice Cantos throughout from start till end .  Both Mario Menezes and Jessica Gomes rendered their sorrowful Cantos extremely well, in fact Jessica was at her best with her serene voice.

All the Side Show songs were good yet special mention must go to the Opening solo of Rosy Alvares, Mario Menezes solo, Lawry Travasso’s solo, excellent duet of Jessica Gomes with Tony de Ribandar, also of Lawry Travasso with Rosy Alvares and a comedy solo of Comedian Joana that had charming effect on the audience.

During the interval, the Chief Guest Mr. Nagvencar felicitated Paklo who is involved in organizing the Stage setting which the chief guest in his short speech said is a difficult and laborious task.

Mario Menezes also honoured by the chief guest and in his speech Mario Menezes disclosed how difficult it is to stage our Tiatros in Panjim due to non availability of the Hall. 

If we are made to starve for the Hall then staging of our Tiators will be hampered thereby upsetting the smooth running of our Tiatro business. Tiatro Academy of Goa must apply its mind on this subject very seriously.

Goa Forward Party is synonymous with Fatorda MLA Vijay Sardesai who is the voice of Goa in the Legislative Assembly being a one strong man Opposition who is strongly fighting for Goa and Goans. Goa Forward Party under the able presidency of Prabakhar Timble is the only Party in Goa that is more vociferously raising its voice by organizing public meetings in Goa, against nationalizing Goan Rivers where it will destroy the livelihood of our traditional Goans.

Taking this view in consideration and some other negative aspects of this nationalization,  Goa Forward Party yesterday organized a big public meeting in Siolim at Tarir to condemn this move of government to nationalize the Goan Rivers.  At 5.15 PM the move started with a rally that took the demonstrators to the River where the demonstrators as a symbolic gesture released in the river at Tarir some Paper Boats.

Goans under mass-hypnotism

Everyday, the print and social network media, brings letters, middles and articles, bitterly and angrily lamenting that everything Goan is being destroyed at an alarming rate; that both Congress and BJP State Governments have actively promoted and participated in this process of destruction; that both Congress and BJP State Governments have bulldozed the so-called “Development Projects”, despite people’s on longdrawn protests, appeals, representations etc. Mopa Airport, Tiracol Golf-Course, Casinos and now targeting our Rivers are four (4) among many others, of typical examples of both Goa Governments riding roughshod over Goenkars.

But all this and worse well continue to  haunt Goenkars and Goa, because Goa is a Conquered Land (Supreme Court of India- “Mons. Sebastiao F.X.dos R. Monteiro V/s State of Goa”_ A.I.R. 1970 pg. 329, S.C.) and a Conquered People have no rights, but only duties to do and accept what the Conqueror demands. A Conquered People have no right to make demands, but accept only that which the Conqueror may give, out of his “sweet will and pleasure”.

While all the other State Governments and Opposition Parties, contentiously “fight” to safeguard the assets, interests, aspirations of the People and the Land (State), the Governments in Goa-both Congress and BJP, have done and are doing the exact opposite. The reason for this is that they (both Congress and BJP) are agents of the Conqueror, in the guise of Governments. And we Goenkars, have unwittingly and credulously gone through the motions of elections.

Therefore, all we Goenkars, in and out of Goa, must immediately shake ourselves out of the spell of mass-hypnotism under which we are unsuspectingly and recognize, accept that we are a Conquered People and not a Liberated People. Only then will we stop foolishly making demands, like for example, for “Special Status”; stop fretting about the ongoing process of Genocide of Goenkars and the annihilation of our Goem.

Only then… only then, hopefully we Goenkars will seek a differt path, to save ourselves and our homeland Goem! Hopefully, if atall !!.

GOA IS FULL OF CRIMES & CHAOS.

This is in particular regarding the recent crime committed on Monica Gurde at her apartment in Sangolda, Bardez, by the NON-GOAN ex-security guard and crimes in general committed in Goa since the invasion of Goa on 19.12.61. In this connection I like to express that Goa is caught up with India in crimes from the time Kumar committed a double murder in early sixties at Taleigao and for which he was hanged at Aguada somewhere in 1979. The actual name of Kumar is Peter hailing from Kerala and he killed the mother and her small child where he was working as domestic help.  After killing them he cut their bodies into pieces  and put the same into a box. One of the reasons for this spate of crimes now is the influx of non-Goans comprising many hard hearted ones for whom committing a crime means a joke and also because of the weak judiciary.

During Portuguese time in Goa, committing a crime means a worst blunder for which worst punishment was in store by the best of laws and best judiciary because the investigating authority and the judiciary were in the hands of upright people who were hungry to mete out appropriate judgement.  Things are different now where in many cases judgements are purchased by the wrong doers thus making mockery of the judiciary.

Since 19.12.61 the administration in Goa is gone into the hands of rascals who are not having a sense of justice for this reason injustice and chaos  are prevailing all over Goa.  In this invaded Goa no Goan can have a peaceful sleep. The invaded Goa is become a safe haven for all the crooks, thieves and  criminals who are descending on Goa in big herds to make Goa as their homeland.  All the “Bastard” politicians are supporting them by providing them with all the facilities to convert them into naturalized citizens of Goa. Such “Bastard” politicians are well known in all the cities namely Mapusa, Margao and Vasco where they made colonies of non-Goans of vote banks for them.

 

In Goa now there is no respect for law and order, the control of law and order is taken over by the law breakers who fear for none because the “Bastard” political administrators give the law breakers all the protection since these administrators themselves belong to the class of criminals and thieves.  They by coming from this class of criminals and thieves always support criminals and thieves only.  See these “Bastard” politicians how they acquired so much of wealth within a short time of acquiring political status.  How they amassed such a huge wealth when they were poverty stricken before embarking into politics!  Is it not thru looting and robbing Goa, Goans and residents of Goa?  In my own locality the hardcore political criminals acquired so much of wealth when they were nothing before entering into political field, both at Panchayat level as well as State level. And on top of it they claim to be the Catholics by going to the Church and  performing all the religious rites even by donating a fraction of their loot to the “Ghanvcho Pe. Vigar” as a mode of Bribe to silence his mouth.  And many of our rascal Pe. Vigars in Goa are become very good bribable commodities who are strong supporters and promoters of political criminals and thieves. These political Bastards kept on their payroll best of the criminals, thieves and Bouncers to help them in acquiring their sinister aims.  

The coming election is going to be the last election for Goans to assert their rights by electing the right candidates to save Goa from going into extinction. Future elections will be contested by the non-Goans who are gaining lot of    importance in Goa due to different factors and since non-Goans are attaining majority in Goa, they will vote for their own non-Goan candidates who will enact the future laws of their choice and their suitability. That time we will be like Palestinians in Israel as second class citizens. BJP government will provide them all the assistance because its High Command is based in Delhi from where thru remote control it will do everything good for them.  Our local BJP candidates will have no “balls” to counter them.  When the so  called great patriot of Goa the late Mathanay Saldanha turned into a non-entity cockroach  infront of Parricar when Parricar cancelled the Good Friday Holiday for Chrisitisns instead of opposing Parricar  by protesting over this anti-Christians move, then what others will do?  

Narendra Modi is a biggest liar because by telling lies of promising to give Special Status to Goa he got our votes for his party and finally gone against his own promise.  Parricar is another biggest liar because by promising us to remove the Casinos from Goa he kept the Casinos as they were.  Can anyone trust such liars?  Under BJP rule in Goa there is chaos and injustice all over Goa.  The only persons enjoying good life are the  BJP members.  Do we have “balls” especially the Goan Christians to do justice for Goa by electing the right candidates who will do justice for Goa and Goans and who will work for eradicating crimes in Goa?  I doubt very much.

NON-STOP DRAMA "AMCHEM NOXIB TEM".

 On Wednesday, 12^th of this month, at Kala Academy Hall, Panjim, at 7.30 PM, I saw the Non Stop Drama “AMCHEM NOXIB TEM” scripted and directed by Comedian Agostinho. The chief  guest was Mr. Dawlat Hawaldar from Art and Culture Dept., Government of Goa.

It WAS A Well written story associated with beautiful Cantos all related to the Play.  Comedian Agostinho has revived this system after a gap of 10 years and successfully staged it with the good performance by all the artistes.  However, special credit must go to the excellent role of a father played by Pradeep, Justino, Comedian Jannet, Dola, Willie, Benny de Aldona, Philip Almeida, Pascoal Rodrigues, Comedian Selvy and director himself.

Dola with her charming personality and attractive dress code was the centre of attraction in her role as a flirty type of girl while Pascoal Rodrigues was a mismatch for her as her boyfriend since his ageing features were visible. 

The comedy with the exception of few unpalatable comments carrying double meaning  was well enacted by comedians Agostinho-Salvy-Jannet

Though there was no Side Show songs in this drama yet there was only one excellent political trio rendered by Jannet-Benny de Aldona – Selvy besides opening solo on Non-Stop Drama by Benny de Aldona.

All the cantos from the play were of high standard with beautiful words and attractive tune. Kudos to the composer of these cantos that gave an extra booster to this Non-Stop Drama “AMCHEM NOXIB TEM” which was attended by a good number of people.

GOA FORWARD OPENED ITS OFFICE IN PANJIM.

Yesterday, 11^th of this month in Panjim at Patto, at 5.00 pm, Goa Forward Party officially opened its Party Office to cater to the needs of North Goa,  with all the formalities such as Lighting of traditional Lamp, breaking of Coconut etc.  Incidentally the symbol of Party is a Coconut.

The ceremony was attended by the hall packed attendees who include party stalwarts, members, suporters, sympathizers and well wishers, both males and females coming from all over Goa thus indicating that GFP is having its vast influence in Goa.

Mr. Timble in his speech detailed the Party agenda and its aims and objectives while Mr. Paliecar spoke of his reasons for joining the GFP.  He indicated his disgust for both the ruling and Congress parties and further indicating how he stopped the looting in crores by the BJP minister in his Siolim constituency.

The focus finally fell on the very good speech delivered by Vijay Sardesai who disclosed how fearful it is to elect the Parties whose High Command is based in Delhi from where all anti-Goan decisions are taken. GF High Command is based in Goa only from where all pro-Goa decisions will be taken.  Delhiwalas first started “land grab” in Goa and now under BJP “river grab” is started which we must stop. It is a time for us Goans to put an end to the slavery we suffer from Delhi High Commands of Congress, BJP and AAP.

He showed his displeasure over Congress Party over its reluctance on having alliance with like minded parties such as Goa Forward quoting Bihar where if it can have a similar alliance then why not in Goa?  It is a matter of survival in Goa now for which GF will work very hard even by occupying opposition benches. Quoting Abraham Lincoln, Vijay said that to know its character people of Goa gave a mandate to BJP to rule Goa but during its past over 4 years BJP showed its real character of taking “U” Turns thus making mess of Goa.

Review of Goa Forward Strategy for  Elections 2017

As the custodians of Goa, Goemkar and Goemkarponn, Goa Forward has to lead the electoral battle to oust the present ruling BJP-MGP coalition government from power. The onus is on Goa Forward as the BJP government is anti-Goa and anti-Goemkar.

It is with this objective that Goa Forward was prepared to share power with the Congress party and was repeatedly and consistently putting forward the demand for alliance. Goa Forward is well aware about the past failures of the Congress party to protect land, environment and identity of Goa. However, Goa Forward being a new political front of Goans was showing political maturity to dethrone the ruling BJP as the party was facing elections in less than a year of its formation. Otherwise, there was no reason for Goa Forward to speak of alliance with the Congress party.

In the last nine months, Goa Forward has realised that the Congress party is making matters difficult for unity of opposition forces. Goa Forward cannot afford to waste any further time. Hence, due to the irresponsible response and unprofessional approach of the Congress party and based on the positive feedback of Goans to the vision and mission of Goa Forward, the election strategy was reviewed at the meeting of the State Executive of GF.

Considering that elections are almost round the corner and taking stock of the ground realities, it is decided to focus on not less than 25 constituencies for 2017 elections whilst the prospecting will continue in 30 constituencies.

The State Executive decided that Goa Forward will move throughout Goa to sensitize people of Goa to the anti-Goa and anti-Goemkar policies of the BJP government and gather support to the Goa Forward movement for Goemkarponn led for Goa and by Goans.

CASINO MONEY IS A CURSE FOR FC GOA.

Once again on 8^th of  this month and that too at home ground, Fatorda, FC Goa failed to rise up to the expected level and surrendered all the points to FC Pune in a pathetic defeat just like earlier on 4^th with North East United FC at Guwahati. It is not Zico’s fault alone though he failed this time miserably to groom the team as a well-knit cohesive unit inspite of taking the team to Brazil for grooming the players to be the best.  

The team FC Goa has many flaws starting from custodian Kattimani whose recklessness was responsible to concede at least two goals out of 4.  In the defense line with all my due respect to his past glories as World Cupper for Brazil, once mighty Lucio at 38 now, is unfit to shoulder the responsibility of manning the defense appropriately.  He is now a pale shadow of his earlier mighty self in the sense that now he is slowed down, lost his earlier concentration and above all he lost the taste of playing competitive soccer. 

In the half line there is not a single maestro to orchestrate the midfield by defending and attacking, at times Romeo did this job but he is not used full time to utilize his skill.  

In the forward line though Mandar showed  some glimpses of his last season’s skills in sprinting with the ball cleverly evading past number of opponents yet his other colleagues are not receptive to his tempo.  Rafael is accurate in hitting the target but he is a bit slow while Reinaldo is a bit flimsy.  As a whole, the forward line looks like playing only for the sake of playing and not to win.  They want to dribble and exchange passes even in the penalty box which is not correct.  In a Portuguese Eusebian and West German Gerd Muellerian style, our boys must finish the execution when they get the ball in the box. The foreign players  looks tired and not spirited because they have crossed their peak. 

It is not enough to play the game but while playing you must also have God’s blessing which FC Goa will never get because it is financed by the sinful money from the sinful business of Casino gambling. Without God’s blessing nothing good will come. Under the current ownership of FC Goa team by the sinful Casino owner and promoter of sacrilegious Casino business, Mr. Modi, FC Goa will fail miserably.  And signs are already appeared of the wrath of God.

CONTRIBUTION OF CHRISTIANS IN GOA'S PROGRESS.

BJP’s “Christian appeasement” ‘forced’ formation of GSM (Goa Suraksha Manch), the newly political party disclosed this, as appeared in the Herald on 05.10.16. This political party accuses Goan Christians as promoters of western culture and western education. Christian bashing looks to be the main purpose of this party.

It is a hard fact that Christian bashing was started openly immediately after Goa was invaded by Bharat, by those who dubbed Chrstians as Pro-Portuguez.  Many of them were wrongly informed that Hind means Hindu Raj and this view in his mind, on 17^th December 1961 at about 7.00 PM, one Dhobi Esso from Candolim Orda when he came to deliver the laundry of Candolim Asst. Parish Priest Fr. Marcus Menezes, where Esso got the news that Indian military already entered Goa, Esso left the laundry in the Church premises and ran home like a mad man shouting bad words against Chrisitians saying “tumkam atam ami kitem tem dakoitoleaum, tumkam ami marun kobar kortoleaum, tumcheo igorzo ani kopelam ami moddun kobar kortoleaum etc.

Elsewhere from Siolim and Chopddem side the promoters of Hindu Raj came in big Trucks and Tempos in our side on 20th-21st-23rd December playing Drums and hailing Hindu Raj and in Candolim at least for 2-3 days after 19^th December some fanatic Hindus namely Shamba Xet, Balkrishna and others started abusing Christians and their Saint Sr. Francis Xavier and also taunting Him saying “where is gone your Forsulo now?” Thy were also firing crackers in front of the houses of Chrisitans and also in front of some Chrisitian passers-by taunting them as pro-Portuguez. 

The formation of Maharastrawadi Gomantak Party immediately after 19.12.61 was an act against Goan Christians in the sense to decimate the power of Chtistians by making Marathi as official language and thereby weaken the power of Christians in Goa who are almost foreign to Marathi.  Secondly, the followers of MGP were under the impression that Goan Christians enjoyed better facilities during Portuguez time and for this they should be punished by merging them with  Maharastra which is a big ocean where they will  dissolve and live like non-entities without any importance. MGP was under the impression that Goan Christians were the promoters of Western culture, language and traditions and as such they are pro-Portuguez.  By dumping them in Maharastra will be the best course of action to liquidate the  influence of Goan Christians in Goa. This view was also subscribed by the Nagri Konknnivadis. According to MGP, in Christian community there was no Bahujan Samaj, it was only in Hindu community, for this reason MGP is called communal party.

It is  wrong notion that Goan Christians are pro-Portuguez.  The involvement of Goan Christians in the freedom movement was second to none. The first mighty revolutionaries who  revolted against the Portuguese rule in Goa were the Christians and moreover they were priests from Candolim known as Pintos. When they were caught they were punished very savagely.  Dr. Francis Luis Gomes the Goan parliamentarian in Portugese Parliament who raised his voice in support of Goa’s liberation was a Christian too. Likewise there are so many Christians who fought against Portuguez rule in Goa.  Overwhelming majority of Salcette Freedom Fighters were prominent Christians having secular principles and not fanatic anti-Christians as many from the North. 

Our Church leaders should have told the faithful from the Pulpit and Altar the contribution of Christians in the service of Goa to make ignorant Christians aware of the excellent work done by Chrisitians in getting Goa liberated from the Portuguez rule. Instead our Church leaders behaved like cowards, slaves and ignorant with fear complex instilled in them by the crooks from the opposite camp who thought they alone were responsible to create an awakening against Portuguez rule in Goa. 

During Portuguez time the entire Mining Industry was in the hands of Hindus and the major portion of Commerce was also in the hands of Hindus. Most of the government jobs were in the hands of Hindus only. Where were Christians then to enjoy better facilities?

Was it not wrong then to say Christians were given better facilities by the Portuguez? Christians were used after 19.12.61 by the interested persons and segments to get better dividends for them. For example: During Opinion Poll the entire Christian community was used to win this Poll.  For Konkani movement again the entire Christian community was used to support Konkani and in the end the script used by Christians was rejected and Nagri script was forced on Christians by the crook Konknni Nagrivadis. For any mass movement Christians only came forward to support the Goan causes. Christians showed much higher patriotism for Goa and Goan causes even though they wore western dress and many of them converse in Western language more fluently, this does not mean they are the followers of west.  They are as Indian as any other Goan Indian though Indian citizenship was forced on Goans by Indian government.  

Why those who bash Goan Christians as promoters of western culture and education don’t stop wearing western clothes and taking western education?  They are traitors and jealous of Christians and the progress Goan Christians have made.  Becaause they are jealous of Diocesan Schools they want to starve them by cancelling the grant to these schools as if they are giving this grant from their Azo’z account.  The Diocesan Schoools are not discriminating between students from Hindus and Christians.  These schools serve all the communities and not only Chrisitans.  Last time MLA Wagh was roaring like a “Ranantlo” Vagh in the Goa Legislative Assembly against these schools but within a short time had to be admitted into Bombay Hospital where he is still not fully recovered (Devachea Marank Avaz Na), thus goes one Kionkani proverb.

FC GOA'S LOSS YESTERDAY

Yesterday’s (04.10.16) victory of North East United FC at Guwahati, over FC Goa was the deserving victory  for the winners and deserving loss for the Goans.  No doubt both the teams played a mediocre soccer yet it generated some excitement in the game played by the Northerners especially with the vociferous support for them of the 28000 home spectators in the stadium which was the fantastic evidence documenting the rise of soccer interest in India especially among the youth.  Hope this trend will move higher and higher.

With the exception of one Goan lad Mandar Desai, I could not feel any spirited  move by any of our  forwards, he even at moments rushed to defend his citadel as a token of helping hand to his defense colleagues and  custodian who made a big blunder in receiving the first silly goal.  This guy Kattimani proved to be an irresponsible goalkeeper in front of the seasoned opponent Emiliano Alfaro who is on constant prowl to grab any given opportunity.  His second goal thru the legs of Kattimani was just a class by itself where again a blunder on the part of our keeper to allow the ball pass thru his legs.  And on top of it he blames his defenders in an irritating gestures.

This Goan team was sent to Brazil  on the advice of Coach Zico to get an advanced training but ultimately what is the result? Inspite of enormous amount of money spent in coaching in Brazil, I don’t find our team is worth admiring. Sinful Casino money will never give blessings and time alone will justify my statement.  True sons of Goa, Salgaocar and Dempo both were sidestepped from managing Goan team to make place for a non-Goan Modi not to promote Goan soccer but thru FC Goa to promote Deltin Casino business and for Goans to accept Casino business in Goa.  According to my information, Nita Ambani is responsible for bringing in Modi and those who are going to raise black flags and boo Ambani during her next visit to Fatorda Stadium, I support them. 

This Goan team does not represent Goa when most of the  players are non-Goans.  Present FC Goa will never encourage Goan youth to embrace soccer with its anti-Goan policy.
