What ails Islamist extremists? In many places around the world they want to impose their brand of political system suitable to their ideology. The recent incident in Algeria of hostage taking and killing many of them created a chill in our marrow. Those who are killing people in the name of propagating their religious ideology are doing disservice to God and thereby committing a sacrilege. God did not say to kill His own people to propagate His doctrine. And as a matter of fact, Islam came to this world not thru the means of Sword but surely thru the means of Peace which is the core of Islam.
The reason for France militarily to involve in Mali is to bring about peace in that country which was once the colony of France. The Islamist extremists challenged the authority of the current government in Mali to create chaos there. So much so the rebels have alienated government’s authority in some parts of Mali. Elsewhere we saw at so many places former colonialists intervened to protect the existing governments’ rule of law.
The involvement of France in Mali has angered the Islamist extremists who as revenge sent their rebellious commandos to neighbouring Algeria and took hostage number of Western and Japanese workers there working at the Gas Project in Algeria. As per their statement the rebels have vowed to take revenge against Christian West in general and Christian France in particular for involving in Muslim countries like Mali. As per the statement of the Islamist Extremists, France and West are anti Muslim.
As a matter of fact there are innumerable Muslims in the West in general and in France in particular enjoying the privileges of practicing and propagating Islam freely. These Muslims are the citizens of these Western countries in general and France in particular. If West and France in particular were to be the enemies of Islam then they would not allow Muslims there and Islam to flourish there. In France itself the grip of Islam is very strong and precisely because of this about a century back one visiting Muslim scholar Imam Mohammed Abdo when stepped in his foot there he noticed how deeply Islam is rooted in France finally making him remark thus “In the West I see Islam but no Muslims while in the East it is just the opposite”.
A Muslim will not be a Muslim unless he accepts and admits Christ the originator of Christianity and also other Prophets. That some Christians and Christian nations and also non-Christians are working against Muslims and Islamic countries is condemnable and I condemn it. Those Christians and non-Christians fighting religious wars against Muslims in the name of their religions are doing a great injustice to their religions. The core of all religions is the same because all religions tell to do good. No religion tells to do bad, to do injustice and to kill people.
According to me it is too difficult for Muslim extremists to impose their ideology on others. The world currently is too advanced and too civilised to outdated Theocratic ideology. These people may gain temporary gains but in the long run they are bound to fail as they failed earlier elsewhere Today many of the people kept a distance from converting into Islam because of the extremism some Muslims practice to impose their extremist’s ideology. It is these extremists who create a bad image of Islam by committing cruelties against innocent people otherwise Islam is one of the best religions that worth embracing.
It is to be strongly noted that Christians and Christian nations have brought lot of development and Peace into this world by stopping injustice committed by non-Christians and non-Christian nations. Many of the problems and wars taking place among Muslims and Islamic countries are set right by the Christian West. When one Islamic country Kuwait was invaded by another Islamic country Iraq it was Christian West headed by Christian USA under the presidency of Christian Bush that liberated Islamic country Kuwait thereby bringing Peace into this Islamic region. It was Christian country USA supported by Christian NATO that brought some peace in Muslim Afghanistan otherwise Al Qaeda would create more terror in the world thereby destroying not only the enemies of Islam but also the friends of Islam.
As a well-wisher and supporter of Islam I request moderate Muslims to plead with the Islamist extremists to stop killing innocent people in the name of their religious ideology. It must be known that the greater the Islamist extremism greater is the set- back for the advancement of their cause. And certainly suicide bombing is not the right way to fight for justice.. No human being is authorised to take away his own life voluntarily, leave aside killing others. Only God cantake away one;s life. Those who are committing suicide are committing a sin against God.
