DONATIOS AND ACCOUNTIBILITY.

This is in regards to the donations sent to Goa from abroad by Goans for Goan causes and for political parties.    Very few Goans were involved from abroad as Kuwait Goans  to send donations  from Kuwait for Goan causes in Goa in lakhs of rupees

The donations sent thus were not always properly utilized by the recipients who at many times desliked our questioning the accountability and in the bargain the recipients misused our donations. I  am given to understand that some Goans in the West are sending donations for an  organization IN Goa campaigning against  those non- Goans who are depriving the Goans of their rights to have priority over everything Goan. The accountability of this donation   must be maintained properly otherwise there is every possibility for the recipients to misuse the donation as it happened to our donations sent from Kuwait.  In Goa now you will not easily get a good man with good character though they will talk good as if they are saints.

While supporting this move of  working for the cause of Goans opposing the non-Goans,  they must also raise issues of destruction of  natural beauty of Goa especiaIly the rampant  Hills cutting, filling our fields with mud and many such activities affecting the nature. The non-Goans are not interested in protecting the ecology of Goa and hence there should be pressure on them to protect Goa for the next and future generations.

The other issue which is degoanising our Goa is the rampant employment of non-Goans in our Banking   sector especially on the upper posts where they use their clout and power to help employment in the Banks of their own non-Goans and help their non-Goans to get loans easily while the applications for loans and other benefits for Goans are rejected on silly grounds. In this way Goans are deprived of the loan and job facilities where they should get priority.  The other issue the Goans campaigning against non-Goans must take on  is the abolishing of dual voting by the migrants. This is the top political  issue that must come to an end.

STOP IMMEDIATELY OPENING OF GOA'S BORDERS FOR FREELY MOVING OUTSIDERS TO GOA.

With all my ferocity and the anger I have, I strongly oppose the government decision to open the borders of Goa for the free movement of people coming to Goa  from other parts of India.  This is going to be like another curse on Goans asked by our “Kalcho Porcho Potto” Chief Minister Dr. Pramodh Sawant whose selection for the post of CM was given to him on silver platter as a reward by that bloody ailing Parricar who like King Hussein of Jordan came all the way from USA in a Chartered Plane only to confer on his elder son the title of King.  In  Jordan it is tolerated because it was Monarchical government but definetely not in Goa.  Good that the “ Pidda” of Parricar was disappeared right with a death on him in time otherwise  his presence in Goa would convert him into  a Salazar having power of the most corrupt Dictator.  These BJP celebrities are ruling the country as if it belongs to their father.  Goa is not the property of Sawant's father to do what he wants.  Today we are suffering the curse of Corona Virus so piercingly  only because of the faulty decision taken  by the “Zaddpaleacho Dotor” who by starting the Railways from north India to Goa that brought influx of all unwanted Ghantees to Goa who were fully infected with  Corona Virus.  Till the starting of Railways, the situation in Goa was good and we were having top rank as the number one State in India to maintain our record of best maintained State in India.  But soon the disaster came on Goa.

Are these people ruling Goa  really interested in Goa and Goans?  Definitely not and if hey were interested they would not put the life of Goans in jeopardy.  Because of the starting of Rail service lot of Virus infected Ghanttes are    pouring in Goa unhindered. And so many deaths ARE taking place in Goa.  Who is to be blamed for this deaths?  Are these falling into the category of suicide or homicide?  IF it is the latter then is it not right to hold Pramodh Sawant responsible for this?

Just because elsewhere like Rajastan the borders are kept open we should also do the same and get infected with Corona Virus and die?  In India no where else human life is respected more than what it is respected in Goa.  We Goans are so decent, clean and compassionate that the greatness of Goans is destroyed by the all those Ghantees who or whose elders came from beyond our borders and by supporting that rascal Dayananda Bandodcar to merge Goa with Maharastra gained foothold in Goa which helped them to act as stupid administrators nowWhat is the capacity of Pramodh Sawant to rule Goa efficiently?  If you look at him he looks like fit to be unfit to rule Goa.  He is a Parricar baby and these Babies are unfit to rule Goa.  They will ultimately ruin Goa by ruining the life of Goans.  Their living in the northern part of Goa is like living in “zonglant” where they indicate their backwardness and having such backwardness they will never develop themselves to be as metropolitan, secular and broad minded.  Goa need powerful rulers and not to listen to the industrialists to  command our rulers to do this and do that without delay and like pimps our leaders succumb to these dictates.

For all the ill effects of Corona virus we must hold the present BJP government headed by Sawant responsible.

HAPPY BIRTDAY RAYMOND D"SA. EX KUWAIT GOAN.

Yesterday, 31.08.20 one of the well-known members of Kuwait Goan community Mr. Raymond D ‘Sa marked his    80th birthday. Though he is spending his retired life now since last six plus years and living in his home village at Nagoa (Arpora) Bardez Goa, he spent about 40 years in Kuwait working and holding a top post in the most prestigious Bank in Kuwait, The National Bank of Kuwait.

Who is this gentleman Raymond D’Sa? He was born and brought up at his home place in Nagoa Bardez were he did his education completing the Matriculation which was the highest English education then in Goa. This was done by him at the first English High School of Goa “St. Joseph’s High School, Arpora which was built and established by one Non-Goan foreighner Deacon known as Fr. Lyons who was thrown out of the Seminary as a young Seminarian when he was afflicted with the deadly sickness Leprosy type. After doing so much of medical treatment  to cure his sickness and having no cure, somebody advised him to go to Goa a  place which is blessed by God with the natural gift of curative water coming from the Springs. As advised he came to Goa and at Sinquerim Bardez Goa, he had bath in one of the Springs and soon he was cured. Then as a mark of gratitude to the place that cured him he thought of doing something most memorable that is establishing of first  English High School  at Arpora which had high educational standard and because of this those days it was called as “Collegio Diocesan de St. jose, Arpora". The motto of this school was written in Latin  in bold capital letters as “CIBARIA NECESSARIA SUMITE ET ABITE”, its meaning is “Take the necessary food and depart”.

Folowing the instruction of his school, the young, energetic and handsome boy Raymond D’Sa departed from Goa and landed in Kuwait,  In school he was a bright student while in extra curricular activities he was extremely good, soccer being his forte where he guarded the goal of his School or village teams where he proved to be a hard nut to track.

He was very active in Kuwait for any activity done by Kuwait Goans, either in soccer for Indians or tiatro or Konkani or Hotel Goan Heritage or any other cause.  He helped the promotion of Konkani movement in Kuwait, so also the soccer tournaments where he was very active being the president of Goan Overseas Association that was fielding its soccer team in Kuwait for the tournaments for Indians and expatriates. The team GOA Maroons was name and fame because Raymond D’Sa took lot of interest in this team along with others,

Inspite of being so prominent he was always humble and never made show of his  excellence in life.  He was my great help for all my movements I did from Kuwait. A man of good discipline and character, humility was his forte in life.  One behalf of me, my family and all the like minded Goans, I wish him a very happy birthday.
