The very fact that the meeting took place along with the GBA in Cansaulim is credit to those who stood up to be counted and that too just a stone throw away from Mauvin Godinho's maternal grand-father's doorstep needs to be commended. Please don't make nothing of these brave people and others from other villages who are standing up to the corrupt politicans-real estate-Government Machinery nexus. Trust me all the mians (aka terror and goon Aboobakr Shaikh alias Babloo) and the matka bookies (aka Guilford D'Costa) and Aggie Alcacoas (aka Queeny Realty Estate's patrao) and the Jose Manuel Fernandes -Sarpanch with no conscience and the Martha/ Ferwin Saldanhas (aka Panch members who are working overtime to destroy their own village dancing to the corrupt MLA who goes about the celebrating his own "happee boday" with a hundred and one pictures of his own and a glowing one page tribute from Agnelo Alcacoas and all the other real estate builders is proof enough who is .
Interestingly the contractor of the Kala Bhavan at Sancoale paid for the Queeny Realty Estate patrao's glowing tribute to his own crook cousin' boday greetings of the power-scam bag/scum-bag/slum-bag fame! Among the many well wishers and builders Aboobakr Shaikh too added his greetings but under the nickname Babloo of Cuelim!
Revolutions begin with a small step till the people rise and there's no stopping! Talk about the French Revolution and other great people struggles around the world for justice! You can give your freebies to silence people from protesting but you loot and steal much more to go about your devious schemings and may say it's for development! A time will come when all will be exposed. Till then Joegoauk and Camillo let's light a candle one day at a time and one person at a time instead of cursing the dark.

It is really sad and shocking to see this low turnout of Cansaulim villagers to this serious problem affecting their village. It is this callous attitude of Goans that is leading to the downfall of Goa.
We expect others to solve our problems while we sit comfortably in our homes. We may feel we have no time and is not our problems, then we should take inspiration from others who
sacrificed to come from far away places to attend the meeting and lend support.
If we cant take active part as leaders, the least we can do is give our full support to the people leading these protests. After all no point in mourning later on when all is lost. I hope better sense prevails and people realize that it is never too late to come forward and to protest and compel the local MLA/minister to bow to their wishes.
