Grand KIFF NITE in Kuwait

Kuwait Indian Football Federation (KIFF), the only Indian organization with an affiliation of 16 Indian Clubs and Associations is pleased to announce the grand ‘KIFF NITE’ for the very first time since its inception in 1984.

This glittering dinner dance and social gathering is sponsored by Metro Express Courier & Cargo and will be held at Fakeer Al Deen Palace, Kuwait City on Thursday, 31st May 2007 starting 9:00pm onwards.

The highlights of this gala event -- co-sponsored by Sports Corner Company -- will be a glamorous awards distribution ceremony with live music by two of Kuwait’s leading bands -- Deep Impact and Soul Shakers.

Master Compere Dunstan D’Costa from Goa will further elevate the evening with floor contests including a ‘Waltz Competition’ for the very first time in Kuwait.

Kiteak Ho Bazar Cholta - Preparations in Full Swing

Tiatro "Kiteak Ho Bazar Cholta" written and directed by Mini Mario from Colva, Salcette, will be staged on coming Friday 11th of this month at Hawally A/C Hall, starting at 3.30 p.m. The stage is all set, preparations are in full swing. The cast includes all the best selected from Goa and also the best locals.

Since this is the Golden Jubilee Show and fittingly it s going to be staged in Kuwait, naturally all the attentions of the Tiatro goers are focussed on this Tiatro which is well accepted by the audience in Goa.

This is the first time on Konkani stage such a play with such a story is being staged.
