INDIA'S LOSS IN CRICKET IN ENGLAND.
A thousand congratulations to England for majestically winning the third test against India and thereby winning the series and topping its rating as the world best cricket team. By winning the third test England not only defeated India but massacred India into pieces. India failed in all departments of the game especially in showing any enthusiasm to play well. Just because India won the pigmy type of cricket in World Cup that does not mean they can take test cricket for granted. Dhoni as a captain did not show any sign of motivating factor for his colleagues, he looked taking things lightly.
England on the other hand played very seriously not taking any chances. They had better team in all departments and by seeing them playing so magnificently, I think currently they are unbeatable by any team in the world, at least they are unbeatable by India though India did its best to do well. In view of this, by being impartial we must give full credit to England because they are a superior side and superior side must win. Those who are accusing India for losing so miserably must change their stand and accept the defeat gracefully by giving full marks to England.
After the 1970 World Cup soccer final in Mexico between Pele’s Brazil and Italy, the unbeatable Brazil defeated the mighty Italy by a margin of 4 – 1 goals. It was a big margin and very colossal defeat to the colossal team Italy. It was a big score normally unknown in the final of World Cup but it happened because Brazil in that World Cup had players of extremely superlative quality. That was the team of the century; such a team was never seen before and as per soccer pundits unlikely to be seen in future either. Can we get another Pele again? Can we get again Rivelino, Jairzinho, Gerson, Tostao, Clodoaldo, Carlos Alberto and others?
When Italian team returned back to Italy they thought they will receive a very hostile welcome to them but to their surprise they were welcomed everywhere with banners saying “welcome our heroes, you are the world champions”. Meaning of world champion means, minus Brazil, you are the world champions because Brazil is unbeatable by any team in the world.
Similarly, we must accept the fact that currently England cricket team is unbeatable not only by India but for that matter by any team in the world. Hence, they deserve to massacre India and just India is massacred that does not mean India is nothing. India is something but England is more than something. At this hour we must be bold enough to accept the greatness of England, we must be bold enough to give due credit for the excellent show they displayed where India played like Lambs against the Lions. That was India’s capacity. Do not expect from India more than what they did. Indians were no match against all powerful England.
Many Indians are very much hurt because of this unavoidable defeat. I hope all Indians will take this defeat sportingly and welcome home our cricketers as heroes only like what Italians did for its defeated soccer team in 1970. I hope no one will destroy Dhoni’s house or properties of other players who played in England for defeated India.

Home Minister And Drugs In Goa
Every time the name of Luck Farmhouse is mentioned the Home Minister and his son Roy seem to get their knickers or “kaxtis” in a twist depending on what they wear. It all started with our overbearing Home Minister’s irrational statement that there were no drugs in Goa. A statement coming back to haunt him, as a few weeks later, it was found that a cache of drugs had vanished into thin air from the custody of the Goa police and ofcourse, our Home Minister and his stooges, the authorities in the Police, thought Goans were idiots to believe that ants in Goa had become junkies !
What baffles me most is, even though everyone in Goa, India and abroad knows the fact that drugs are freely available in Goa and more so in the northern belt, why did our foolish Home Minister deny the fact ? There certainly had to be a very good reason, for the Home Minister to deny the presences of drugs in Goa, and it all exploded in his face when Lucky Farmhouses video exposed a number of police playing the mice to the “Piedpiper” Atala. She further accused the son of the Home Minister of being the kingpin in Goa’s drug mafia. It was then that the air was cleared and every action and statement of the Home Minister fell in place like a jigsaw puzzle, but unfortunately a Roy D’Souza was made the scrape goat for the ingenious Roy Naik. If Lucky’s claim that the Goa police were involved were proved right through the video, why can’t her claim about the involvement the Home Minister’s son in drugs be true ?
Today’s news papers have come our with a conspiracy theory, that it was indeed Lucky farmhouse, who was flowing drugs into Goa along with her beau Atala. There are two questions arising from this escapade, one, if the HM knew that Lucky and her beau were involved in drug trade why were they not arrested before the issue erupted and investigated ? Second, drug offences being high risk and high profile, why was this case handed to the CBI only after more than six months and not immediately, specially when the son of the HM was being alleged to be involved in the drugs fiasco, as it makes it a conflict of interests for the HM to be the investigating authority ?
It’s certainly a ploy by the Home Minister and his son, counter claiming that Lucky was involved in drug trade in Goa. If the Home Minister wasn’t more interested in shielding his son’s dark escapades than getting to the bottom of the issue, Lucky would have been questioned by the CBI and the evidence that Lucky claimed to have, videos and photos would have been in the hands of the CBI a long while back.
The Home Minister, by holding on to the case, has had ample time to conveniently get rid of all the important evidence of his son’s involvement in the drug trade in Goa and looks like only than it was handed over to the CBI, if not why did he take such a long time to hand it over to the CBI ?
With the elections round the corner and like every major corrupt conniving Congressman, our Home Minister too, does not want to lag behind in promoting dynasty politics in Goa and has plans for his son to plunge into the Goan political quagmire, so that drug trade can flourish from the confines and through the conduits of the Goa Vidhan Sabha.

Churchill’s Hired Supporters
I am not at all surprised that some of Churchill’s beneficiaries and hand picked supporters are sending out red signals to erstwhile friend turned foe of the big man, in today’s news papers. If Churchill is confident of his victory why should he or his supporters worry ? As he has already proclaimed that he will win on people’s ticket if Congress fails to give him a ticket, on matter who stands against him.
If I am not mistaken this group of Panches and other officials of the Navelim Panchayat and the few selected rather than elected members of the Navelim Citizens Committee, who are certainly under obligation to Churchill Alemao were the same people who had published a derogatory advertisement against the respectable Dr Hubert Gomes not too long ago, because he intends to contest against Churchill’s daughter in Benaulim. They are the same people whom Churchill has financed to be Panches and other officers.
Mr Filomeno Barretto has been a close associate and a confidant of Churchill Alemao for a long time and since he was made the Chairman of the sewerage committee, with the big man’s blessing he is become his mouth piece. Before I am accused of being Luizinho’s supported let make myself clear, I am neither a fan nor a supporter of either, the Alemao clan nor have I anything to do with Luizinho Faleiro, as far as I am concerned they are both, two face of the same corrupt and arrogant coin and it’s now rubbing on the greedy supporters as well.
Goans watch out, please do not be misguided or misused by our corrupt politicians or by their greedy and self-seeking supporters.
