BEWARE SHAREHOLDERS OF HOTEL GOAN HERITAGE. BEWARE OF THE "CHORS".

 By Special Correspondent.

GULF GOANS HOTELS COMPANY the owner of Hotel Goan Heritage is the symbol  not only of Kuwait Goans unity for the cause of Goa but also of the entire Gulf Goans.  Hotel Goan Heritage is the monument  not only of Kuwait Goans but also of the entire Gulf Goans.  The credit for this monument should surely go to its initiator Mr. Vincente D’Souza who was the founding Managing Director of the company at the time of the inception of this company.

Befitting his contribution to the company and being the initiator of this company, the Shareholders must pass a resolution in the next general body meeting to erect a Bust if not a Monument of his at the entrance of the Hotel.  He has given an identity not only to Kuwait Goans but to the entire Gulf Goans by doing yeomen services as none did in the entire Gulf for the cause of Goan community. With the passage of the time his memory should not be erased from the minds of the Gulf Goans and the Shareholders.

Though GGHC was formed by a few dozen Kuwaitkars by purchasing its Shares  yet all others have supported this venture and wished good luck for this company.  Many of the Kuwaitkars though wanted to purchase its Shares in the beginning in 1979 but refrained from doing so because of paucity of finance. But all of them supported the establishment of this company and these well-wishers are not from Kuwait only but also from the other parts of the Gulf.  Every Gulf Goan is proud of this venture in their name and they are all watching its development and prosperity.

The affairs of this company is managed by the Board of Directors based in Goa except two who are based in Kuwait and by being in Kuwait are impotent to perform any extra ordinary feat. They both are useless in the Board; one is novice but think omnipotent while the other is a traitor like all his earlier Kuwait based directors.  Whenever any opportunity comes they should be first kicked out from the Board and their places should be filled by the locals based in Goa and who should be more productive.

The newly appointed novice director is a kid as far as this company is concerned.  He is not a genius nor a professional in Hotel business.  He is not an economist like Harward educated Chidambaran nor Manmohan Singh, he is just an ordinary boy and the way he is inducted in the board without proper procedure is something unimaginable.  Some of the current directors are not even aware of his induction.

This shows the quality of the Board.  When both the Kuwaitkars are useless in the Board by virtue of being in Kuwait, they have no wisdom to remain out of the Board because they are shameless craving for the fake honour. They must know GGHC Board is not GOA Maroons. Because of the selfishness of the president of GOA Maroons for fake prominence, the cream of GOA Maroons dissociated from it.

Will the other Board members based in Goa protect the interest of the company and that of the Shareholders?  I doubt very much especially the Kuwait returnees among whom there are Kuwait rejected for being unwanted in Kuwait because of their inefficiency on the their Kuwait jobs.

Among Gulf Goans there are no better crook and cunning Goans as many  Kuwait Goans and some of them are the Board Members of Gulf Goans Hotels Co. For this reason I have my doubt over the efficiency of the Board for running the affairs of the company in a proper manner.

Alex Wilson Coelho and Wilson Rodrigues were the 2 stalwarts of Kuwait Goan Evacuees Society formed in Goa during the invasion of Kuwait. KGES collected a huge amount of money from Kuwait returnees with a false promise to take them back to Kuwait and ultimately nothing materialized and on top of it nobody knows where that huge fund collected from the poor Kuwait Goan evacuees gone.

Both the Wilsons are part and parcel to this chicanery and as such they will play the similar chicanery in GGHC.  Both these Wilsons are in the Board along with Cordeiro who was sacked for committing a "chori" as given to understand, by Air India Office Kuwait.  Will such "Chors" be able to work sincerely in the Board? These "Chors" bring bad name for the Board and for other directors too.

Their every move must be screened well because there is nobody in the Board to match their intelligence in committing foul play.  One of the Kuwait based directors Raymond D’Sa is a “lolo” like all other Kuwait returnee directors. Raymond D’Sa wants only prominence because like others he too is suffering from ancestral and traditional inferiority complex.  Because they are in Kuwait they are something otherwise intellectually they are from hoi-polloi background and because they are so they  involve in the subjects where they cannot perform their duties properly.

Thru this article this writer is cautioning all the Shareholders to be alert because there are “Chors" in the Board who for the sake of money may even sell their wives and daughters. This company was formed by the average Kuwait Goans and not by the millionaires who joined very late to enjoy the benefits.

SANTOS UNITED & SKYNET WIN.
AVC, MALABAR, CURTORCARES AND SPARX SHARE SPOILS IN OPENING FIXTURES OF THE KIFF LEAGUE AT KAZEMA STADUIM IN ADELIYA
The eagerly anticipated and most watched Indian Expatriate soccer season 2013/2014 in Kuwait got underway on 13th September 2013 at the Al Kazma grounds with the start of the KIFF League for the Late J.P. D'Mello Memorial Rolling trophy. 4 games were held on the 1st day at the sprawling Al Kazema stadium in Adeliya. The proceedings started with the introduction of the teams with the KIFF President Mr. Fidelis Fernandes leading the Club Presidents, KIFF MC members and IFRA members on to the field of play. National anthems of Kuwait and India were played at the onset. Hon. Rev Father Franco Fernandes invoked the Blessings of The Almighty and advised the affiliates and KIFF MC to carry out the KIFF activities in a fair and responsible manner. KIFF President Mr. Fidelis Fernandes in his speech thanked IFRA for their support and the ground authorities for providing the grounds and also the affiliates and his managing committee members for working tirelessly to ensure the season start as per schedule. He also thanked the sponsors United Steel Industrial Company for the Man of the Match awards. A ceremonial cake was cut to mark the 30th Anniversary of the Federation and the start of the new season.

After the opening proceedings and amidst rising temps the real action got underway. AVC – Kuwait and Malabar United started the match on ground 'A' which was a hotly contested affair with Malabar dominating the opening proceedings. Malabar took the lead through Younus in the first half. AVC equalized through Anurag Thapa in the second half. In the dying minutes of the second half Malabar almost scored, but AVC's coach and the most experienced goalkeeper Alvaro Dias made stirring saves to keep the score level at 1-1 and was rightly adjudged the Man of the Match and the award was handed over by John Furtado, President of AVC – Kuwait. On ground 'B' Santos United kicked off against DHL FC. Santos United took an early lead through Domnick, but DHL equalized through Aivey. Once again Santos United were put in front by Anthony and then went on a rampage to score another three goals through Manuel, Peter and Marcelino thus finishing the match 5-1. Veteran midfield maestro Tiago of Santos United marshaled the entire game to earn his side an overwhelming win and was awarded the Man of the Match which was handed over by Tony Corriea of GOA Maroons. The 3rd match was between Skynet Raiders and Indian Strikers on ground 'A'.  Skynet Raiders started with a positive rhythm and went into an early lead through Jr.Joe and Simao increased the tally for Skynet. Haris reduced the margin for Indian Strikers, but Arif scored the third for Skynet to end the match 3-1 to give his side the win. Prakash of Skynet Raiders was awarded the Man of the Match for his brilliant midfield play and handed over by B.M. Viegas ex President of KIFF. The 4th match kicked off between Curtorcares United and Sparx FC on ground 'B'. The young guns of Sparx as usual started the match in a whirlwind speed and opened the scoring through Ahmed Ali, but Curtorcares United stormed back into the match and equalized through Gomes. Both sides settled for a well earned draw. Ahmed Ali the live wire of Sparx bagged the Man of the Match award handed over by Vinay Kumar the President of Kerala Challengers.
The matches were supervised by IFRA officials. The proceedings were ably conducted by Bernard Fernandes and Kevin Vaz with professional ace lens man Revon Gomes capturing the moments on camera.
Man of the Match awards are sponsored by United Steel Industrial Company.
The match schedule for 20th September 2013 to be played at Kazema Grounds is as follows:

THE SENTENCE ON DELHI RAPISTS SHOULD BE UPHELD AND JUVENILE RAPIST SHOULD BE CASTRATED.

By sentencing the 4 Rapists of Delhi girl, the sentencing Judge proved to be upright in delivering the judicious judgement.  With this judgment one step has been cleared for the gallows for all the four rapists.  The next step to achieve real justice for the victim and all the multitude of people not only from Delhi and in other parts of India but also from all over the world, their sentence should be implemented. The real justice will be fulfilled when the next  Courts – Appeal Court and even the Supreme Court approve the preliminary judgement delivered recently by the Fast Track Court.

Meantime is there any real possibility for these Rapists to go for an Appeal to the Higher  Court?  And if yes, who will bear the heavy expenses for the high profile Lawyers to fight for these Rapists?  All the 4 Rapists are poor financially and in such a situation who the financiers coming forward to bear their expenses and for what benefits? This is a big question for me to answer but it is very intriguing. It is not only for these Rapists but even for others who commit worst crimes and worst robberies, financiers immediately come forward to hire top Lawyers for the perpetrators of crimes of different nature.

Coming back to the juvenile Rapist who masterminded this rape from the point of coaxing the victim and her boyfriend to travel in their Bus, deserved more severe punishment of the type Saudi Arabia gives. It is very risky to allow this boy to move freely after his release in another two years because he will go for another rape and more rapes which satisfy his greed for forbidden fruit.  He knows the taste of such crimes and knowing this very well he will surely try for the more such rapes.

These Rapists are sick in mind and precisely because of this sickness they indulge in rapes otherwise they would satisfy their sexual urge thru legal ways by going to the prostitutes who are plenty in Delhi's brothels.

In order to control juvenile's illicit sex crimes in future, I strongly feel that while in the prison serving his sentence he should be punished with “Chemical  Castration” so that he does not get the urge again for committing rapes on innocent girls. It is time for the authorities concerned now to put a complete full stop for his sexual urge otherwise there is every possibility for him to disturb the peace of society.  It is said that "when Lion tastes blood of his prey he is restless for more and more".  This is what will happen to the juvenile Rapist.

Secondly, as it is done in some advanced Western countries, once this juvenile is released from the prison, his residential area should be tracked and in that locality all the residents should be made aware of this boy’s presence and residence there so that all are alerted to take precaution of his presence in their locality.

It is very dangerous to leave him free to do what he wants.  He is a young boy without any proper direction with full of anger and revenge which surely he will release on any of his prey.

Finally, I request the Indian Human Rights activists not to interrupt the sentencing judiciary saying the punishment allotted to the 4 rapists is not correct.  They should not demand from the authorities to spare these rapists from going to the gallows. I am sure if any of the female Human Right activists was raped, they would ask for more severe punishment.

Human Rights are meant for human beings only and not for such wild animals. These rapists have no place in society and as such their punishment should be upheld.
