AAP CAMPAIGN IN GOA.

These days in our locality lot of campaigning is carried out by AAP.  When I questioned them who are their target, they replied BJP.  Congress also says the same, so too the other regional parties.  But according to my observation, none of these parties, regional as well as national, is capable to unseat the BJP from the power if they contest the coming election independently without aligning with each other, all will lose miserably, some even their deposit.

When all the parties are having a common goal to dethrone BJP then they must be ready to do some adjustment to fight this election otherwise BJP is surely coming back to power.  If this happens then all the non-BJP parties will be held responsible because they will be considered as “partners in a crime”. In this direction of forging an alliance,  any of the non-BJP parties must take the initiative and finalise the accord.

Individually on its own not a single party is capable  to dethrone BJP though AAP feels they are,  to win the next election on their own;  however,  if they are firm on this belief then they are in illusion. Besides,  to gain the goodwill of the Goan masses,  AAP is not having in its fold Dr. George Habbash in Palestine or Dr. Datta Samant both of whom did free services to the people as money was not their God.  For this reason people considered them as their gods and followed them blindly.

In Delhi it was Anna Hazare’s shadow that made AAP what it is now but in Goa AAP will have to foist one on the heads of Goans.  If AAP wants to serve Goa then it must tie up with other parties to fulfill its ambition of unseating BJP.  Otherwise AAP will simply split the votes thereby giving BJP an edge over all others.

As it is AAP is concentrating only on the stronghold of  anti-BJP votes in a big way and also the anti-BJP voters citadel.  This gives an impression that AAP is all out to fortify BJP votes.  But by doing this AAP will not gain anything even if they bring hundreds of Kejrival to Goa.  Kejrival is not Gandhiji nor Jay Prakash Narayan. He is just a sectarian leader of one sector only, i.e. Delhi.

FC GOA AND ITS HARSH PUNISHMENT.

During the first ever Santosh Trophy Football Tournament held in Madras where Goa participated following its annexation by Bharat, the president of GFA Dr. Gustavo Monteiro accompanying the Goan squad noticed how the top brass of Indian football administration were jealous of high standard of Goan soccer.  Dr. Monteiro then said that the administrators of Indian soccer will never allow Goan soccer to reach to the pedestal because they were jealous to see Goa making so big strides in soccer when it is so small in size.

Once in Bombay in 1968, the Goan Olympian soccer wizard Neville D’Souza came to visit us, Sesa Goa,  in our dressing room at Cooperage and whispered in my ears saying “to control  my game, don’t allow your opponent, meaning the Referee, to castigate you unnecessarily because they all are anti-Goan.

Being small Goa produced big footballers that sent chills in the marrow of the opponents from beyond Goan borders. In Benzinho of Railways and Pompei of Salgaocar, Goa produced finest custodians;   in Domnick of Vasco Goa produced the best dribbler; in Menino Figueredo of Salgaocar Goa produced the mightiest deep defender and in Keshav of Vasco, Goa produced the most perfect midfield maestro;  such football stalwarts I have never seen anywhere at anytime in India  and with the exception of Domnick, all were linked with the high standard of Portuguese soccer in Goa.

The punishment to FC Goa is too extreme, it is not  punishment but gallows.  FC Goa if possible must put this matter into the hands of FIFA for redressal otherwise, FC Goa must accept this harsh verdict and appeal to global Goans to to help collect money to pay the fine but never give up.

NEED TO OFFER PEACEFUL RESISTANCE IN GOA.

The recent lathi charged on traditional Goan fishermen in Panjim by the Nazi type Police force of Goa should surely unite all the Goans under one umbrella to destroy BJP rule in Goa. The ugly faced CM of Goa looks mentally sick and blind too for this reason he failed to see properly the actual Lathi charged by the Nazi type Goa Police force.  In fact there was no necessity to use Lathis on harmless fishermen especially when the Collector was trying  an amicable solution with the representative of the agitators. At this very moment the IPS chief of Goa Police as per my information, ordered the ruthless and brutal Lathi charge of the type earlier only once I noticed during the Language agitation at Azad Maidan in Panjim where I too was Lathi charged for supporting Konkani.  There should be a thorough inquiry of this Police brutality and on what grounds the Lathi charge was ordered when there was no serious law and order break down.  Even the innocent passers-by were not spared by the Nazi type Police force of Goa.

Parsenkar is an Idiot to abruptly walk out of the meeting with the fishermen.  This is not the proper way to conduct the negotiations.  There was no perseverance on his part to get a negotiated settlement of this problem and hence he is unfit to settle people’s problem.  He acted like an immature domestic working in any house or bungalow.  It is a pity that such a person is ruling over Goans.

During Portuguese time some Pakles and Goan Cabos with the support of their Police Uniform were harassing Goans.  One fine morning a group of a few dedicated Goans joined together and started prowling on one of the deadly Paklos who in his official uniform was harassing Goans. As planned, they saw the Paklo coming in his BMW Bike, he was stopped.  Paklo was in civilian clothes, the Goans only caught hold of his Shirt and asked him thus:

In uniform with Revolver for your Belt you act like a Salazar.  Can you do the same acts now?  In folded hands Paklo begged for mercy and agreed never to harass Goans again.  Feared for his life, he left Goa for Portugal from where he was recruited.

In a similar manner can our Goan fishermen act till all the brute Ghantee Policemen of Goa including the IPS’s,  change their behaviour?  When they are in uniform the Goa Policemen are like Sharks in the sea to devour anyone but minus their Uniform they are “fish out of water”.  In this way the Palestinians in Jerusalem are teaching a very good lesson to the Jews who are constantly harassing the sons of the soil, the Palestinians.

I don’t advocate violence but in a non-violent manner the reincarnation of Salazar of Goa Police Force having IPS to his credit should be dealt with. So also every Agente Monteiro who treated the traditional fishermen brutally in an un-Goan manner.

Meantime, as we were doing during the  Language agitation, the demonstration and  picketing at the residence of CM and IPS Kashyap should be continued to draw the attention of the people, of course in a peaceful manner without using any violence.
