ALTU - FALTU REVENGEFUL POLITICIANS.

When power is given to any Altu- Faltu person without proper maturity to handle it properly, he is likely to commit dadagiri .  This type of dadagiri I noticed in most of our cheap and raw politicians mainly from the Panchayat and Legislative Assembly level. Their first target once they get political power are their immediate neighbours whom they forget to recognize as neighbours because they are intoxicated with the shallow temporary power to punish their neighbour  A few years back my wife  went to our local  Panchayat to get license for constructing a new house where she was told to meet the Sir first.  Who was that  Sir? She was curious to know when that Sir received the Knighthood from the Queen?  Then she was told that the so called Sir was none other than the local MLA who was against me for criticizing his faulty policies in our locality. To indicate his anger he asked my wife with disdain,  “your husband  knows to write only from Kuwait etc?" And then he returned our file with annoyance. In fact being an MLA he had no business to involve in our Panchayat but yet he did because he was the godfather of our Panchayat whose members were treated by him like his slaves.

Similarly, in one coastal  Panchayat, one current MLA is playing this type of dadagiri to take his revenge against one of his constituents  by instructing the concerned  Panchayat not to issue a license for him to repair his house.  Though this MLA has no business to involve himself in the Panchayat but still he wields the defacto authority over this Panchayat whose members got elected thru the bribe money this MLA has given to the voters to  get all the Panch members elected. 

Is this type of undemocratic method good for the smooth functioning of our democracy?  Surely not, because both the MLA’s as indicated above are revengeful  and because they are so they indulge in doing dadagiri  by displaying their political power which is only temporary and not lasting.  Displaying of revengeful nature by our politicians namely MLA’s and others is the show of lowliness which is ingrained in the blood of third class politicians who are of questionable character.  Besides, the MLA’s indicated above are Catholics and to keep one’s anger in one’s mind to take revenge at an appropriate time is an act of Lucifer and not an act of the follower of Jesus.  These are the cheap politicians whose actions resemble that of the actions of Altu-Faltu politicians. Because of such actions these cheap politicians are become a disgrace on Christianity though to fool their community members they go for Mass, receive holy communion and behave in the Church as Saints.

This is in reference to the statement issued by the Goa Forward Party slamming the Church for accusing the government for mishandling the investigation on desecration of Crosses by Pereira and accusing the Church for interfering in politics.

I feel Church is duty bound to involve in politics in Goa because currently politicians are become corrupt who create corrupt society leading to sin.  Church duty is to prevent the people from indulging in sin to facilitate their entry into HEAVEN.  

When Ferdinand Marcos in Philippines used his presidency for creating corruption thereby producing sin there, under the leadership of Cardinal Sin the entire Church there in Philippines opposed Ferdinand Marcos  and elected Corazon Aquino as president there even the then Pope supported the Philippines Church that spearheaded the political campaign to dethrone Marcos. In one South American country, if I am not mistaken,   Nicaragua, when there was too much of corruption, 5 priests were inducted in their Cabinet there and they all worked hard to put things into order under their ministries.  

In Goa people lost hope in the probe conducted by the Police because it  is tutored by the ministers  for this reason people prefer CBI probe.  Fr. Bismark’s probe is still not accepted by the people since it is conducted by the local police.  Baba Ram Rahim was brought to justice because his probe was conducted by the CBI.

Personally I feel not only the Church but even other religions should also involve in politics to right the wrong the corrupt politicians commit. The main purpose  of the religions is to clean the people of  the sin and since corruption is leading to the sin, the religious leaders must step in to guide and control the corrupt politicians otherwise the corrupt politicians with their greed for power, money and rampant illicit sex will corrupt the society. This will fill the society into a SINFUL place.  Is this the purpose of religion?  Surely not, hence it is according to me imperative for all the religions to involve into politics to bring the corrupt politicians to their senses.  

I noticed most of the corrupt politicians are campaigning against the Church involving in politics because they want to rob and rape the people who got them elected. Some of these politicians are so un-Christian that to please their non-Christian bosses they have volunteered to go against their own religion because they are a disgrace on their own religion. Leave aside the tainted Christians barking against the Church involvement in politics but what I cannot understand is that those non-Christian Wolves are also dictating to the Church. Who are these idiots to tell us and our leader what to do and what not to do?  These non-Christian politicians have got no right to tell the Christians how to practice their religion.  It is none of their business. We know what is good and what is bad for us. 

Meantime, why there is no noise from the Catholics from the Nilesh Cabral constituency?  Did these voters especially the Catholics cast their votes to Nilesh Cabral to act as Chamcha of BJP to reprimand his own Bishop as if Cabral is omnipotent?  It is time now for the Catholic voters in Cabral constituency to rise up in unison and warn Cabral to keep away from challenging our and his Bishop. These Cabrals have got no dignity of their own religion.  When he gets a kick in the next election he will fall on the road and at that time his BJP boss will never even look at him.  

As for the sermonising   by the Goa Forward against our Church, it is a pity that inspite of losing all its credibility this party has no shame to show its face openly.  Most untrustworthy unit in Goa having in its fold only the Judases whose number day by day is increasing.

ELECT CONGRESS CANDIDATE JOY FERNANDES.

The Bi-Election for the Zilla Panchayat in Calangute Constituency will be held on 20^th of this month. This is necessitated due to the emptying of this Seat by the previous man who contested the recently concluded election for Calangute Panchayat. Calangute Constituency for this election consists of the villages of Calangute, Candolim, Arpora & Nagoa. This time for this election in Calangute Constituency Congress for the first time is officially fielding its candidate, Mr. Joy Fernandes from Candolim, Orda.  

Mr. Joy Fernandes is a young and energetic educated man involved in     many activities in his locality as well as beyond. Currently he is the Block President of Congress Party. He is an executive body member of Mandd Sobhan, Mangalore – a Konkani Cultural Organisation headed by Eric Ozario and Jagotik Konkani Sanghatan –a global association.  Currently he is engaged by Times of India to promote its Cultural activities, namely Tiatros.  Besides, he was the former Cultural organizer of Directorate of Art and Culture. He is also active in promoting Cultural, Social and Sporting activities.

Since, he is having vast experience in promoting his talents in different fields and being an upright man without any pride and arrogance normally associated with our elected representatives, I feel his chances to get elected are very bright.  As a representative of the Secular Congress Party,  voters should have more confidence in him that he will follow the secular ways which are required now more than any other time when our local leaders are indulging in communal lines.  Being a sincere and upright man, he will not indulge in buying votes as it happened recently with all those shameless crooks who got elected thru their money power.  He is the loyal Congressman since last quarter of a century and like a dirty “SILLO” not changing the colours of his party the way our local corrupt politicians are doing.  It is a time for us to elect an upright man and this upright man is none other than Joy Fernandes who is strongly supported as disclosed  by Joy Fernandes, by both the local Congress leaders Joseph Sequeira from Calangute and Agnelo fernandes from Candolim besides innumerable voters.

Once he gets elected, he got lot of ideas to help the youth from his constituency especially in the matter of employment, also to help the Senior Citizens and Health Care.
