MOST DISGRACEFUL SYSTEMS; APARTHEID IN USA & CASTISM IN GOA.

Further to the foul  murder committed on Black man George Floyd in America by the White American Police Officer recently, I condemn this unpardonable coldblooded murder and  also such other brutalities committed by the police even below my nose.  How terrible is it to notice even in this century and in this millennium the curse of Apartheid still existing in America where two of its finest Presidents were killed because of their opposition to the Apartheid.  What role the Church is playing in Christian America to stop this anti-Christian and un-Christian practice there?

 

I still remember how civil rightist Martin Luther King used the Church platform to oppose Apartheid in USA by the racist Whites who not only  opposed Martin Luther King by showering abuses on him but even stoning his house because they were found at fault with racism. Inspite of their tall claims to be the members of Cristian community that on one side they are kicking the Christ while on the other side they are like traitors embracing the Christianity which in reality should oppose the doctrine of Satanic Apartheid. What disgraceful traitors are all those Whites who practice colour bar policy!!

While  on the subject of Apartheid in America, we in Goa were and still are practicing Caste System which in many respects is similar to Apartheid which has created in our Goan society  solid cracks.  Our Goa Society as a whole and Christian community in particular is too much divided because of the curse of Caste system. It was surprising how this Caste system has penetrated into our Christian community and in view of this when our Christianity will repel such discrimination based on one's caste that is not the NOC (Visa) for entering the Heaven?  But unfortunately because of the bastardization of our system by the high caste Clergy and also due to the tremendous pressure imposed on the  Church by the prominent Christians wielding lot of power not only in Goa but more than that in the Church Circle, carried the Caste discrimination even in the Church where besides other discrimination, separate Benches were allocated for the faithful on the basis of their caste.  Even in the Seminary so many of our young Goan boys with the volcanic love burning in their hearts to serve God were rejected and now as a punishment to our dirty anti-Christian policy followed by our dirty Church policy in Goa, the Seminaries are become empty of Goan Seminarians and precisely because of this Ghanntti type of boys from outside are filling the places in our Seminaries.

Going one step further I would like to state here one more concrete example to prove how the most sophisticated and elite with high degree of educational background were victims of Caste system.  Can anyone believe persons like Abade de Faria firmly believe in his Brahmin Caste status?  Read here, The year of his death a posthumous book of his was under the title 'De la cause du sommeil lucide, ou etude de nature de l'homme by l'Abbe Faria' Brahmin, Doctor in theology, Paris, 1819, 8th ed. Faria was an slave of his Brahmin Caste for this reason he preferred even after his death to indicate his cheap preference on the word "Brahin" Caste while writing his name.  I was proud of him for being my Candoicar but now I feel ashamed of him althouh I respect him for his professional work. 


Coming back to Martin Luther King’s campaign on the eradication of Apartheid in the USA, one day while delivering his sermon in his home town Church at Montgomery, while telling the Whites who by virtue  of being Whites, had to occupy the Benches placed at the right side in the Church while  the Blacks at the left side and seeing this type of segregation in the house of God, he told the Whites, “my dear brothers and sisters, if you cannot integrate with the masses (pointing to the Blacks occupying the Benches at left side) then you will never integrate with Christ because Christ is come from the masses”. Some of the Whites attending the service volunteered to leave the church but not to integrate with the Blacks.  Such was the chicanery practiced by the white Christians there with the fury of the type of COVID-19 Virus and the echo produced by this sermon reverberated all around USA and its echo even resounded all all over the World prompting the larger number not only of Americans but people of the entire World to oppose the apartheid.  Seeing this Apartheid raising its ugly head, I think America now needs one more Martin Luther King to completely eradicate the Apartheid and the colour bar system.  What a disgraceful American society is, they have everything they want and most advanced and most sophisticated industrial goods plus the most deadly atomic arsenal to make the entire World to come to them begging with Americans with bending knees but the basic human characteristics to live like real human beings are missing in  USA. Hence, I say TO THE AMERICANS "HELL WITH ALL  YOUR MATERIAL ADVANCEMENT, WHAT IS THE GREAT THING ABOUT IT WHEN YOU AMERICANS ARE NOT HAVING HUMAN QUALITIES?

THHE DEATH OF GREAT GOAN PATRIOT.

Referring to the Herald Café dated May 22, 2020 for  bringing out a full sketch of the life of the renowned Goan  Agnelo Gomes who died recently in USA at New Jersey.

No doubt the sketch highlighted all the activities he undertook except his clear views on Goa where he was misunderstood.  Being closely associated with me for my contributing to his website, he was one of the   early Goans immediately  following the annexation of Goa by  India to raise his voice against the policies formulated hurting the interest of genuine Goans.  He was a great lover of Goa and as such I can call him the great Goan patriot. He wanted Portuguez to leave from Goa but definitely not the way they  went.  They taught us many  best qualities already ingrained in our blood.   He was not ready for Goa to get fully and unconditionally integrated with Bharat because as he said culturally, historically, traditionally, linguistically and in many respects we Goans are totally different and are a distinct identity from other Indians.   

 Besides we are not a militant race, we are very peaceful community and even Nehru acknowledged this fact and precisely because of this he speaking in the Parliament somewhere in 1956 saying  somewhat like this, “Goa is like a small dot on the face of Mother India and once Portugal is ousted we will not force you Goans to join India, you will have all your freedom either to join us or not etc.”. Here Mr. Agnelo Gomes started putting more stress demanding real freedom for Goa and a referendum to solve this matter and not the Opinion Poll which did not solve the Goa’s case permanently, according to Mr. Gomes. Further he went saying that Opinion Poll was hoisted on us only to give a semblance that Goa’s case is over with the merger of Goa with Maharastra but unfortunately mergerists lost the Opinion Poll keeping the Goa’s issue unsolved.

WHY TRAIN SERVICE STARDED HURRIEDLY?

This refers  to  the news appeared in the Goan dailies on 27.05.20 indicating that the “Train Service resumption saw 85% rise in Covid 19 ……  This is terrible news to digest by the Goans who have undergone so many sacrifices to keep the record of Goa perfectly well to get Goa under Green Zone. Not a single member of Goa Cabinet has undergone the sacrifices the way the common  men have undergone. All the members of the Cabinet by virtue of being the holders of Cabinet rank they enjoyed all the facilities and privileges needing no sacrifice on their  part the way commoner needed.  And precisely because of this easy going attitude of theirs, they eased for the resumption of Trains not only from the Green Zone to Goa which was also in Green Zone but from the Red Zone to the Green Zone of Goa thus infiltrating into Goa many of the virus infected citizens from outside Goa.  Who is responsible to take  this dangerous and faulty step of allowing the Trains to bring in Goa the virus infested people from Red Zone?  Who advised the government and especially the CM to restart the Train service from Red Zone to Green Zone and thus destroy the very good atmosphere existing in Goa?  It is not  enough to say that those people caught for carrying virus were outsiders and it was the imported virus. Importd or exported it was found on Goan soil.  I fully hold  reaponsble those who gave permission for the Train service from Red Zone to Goa and if further disaster comes on Goa due to the influx of Coronavirus, those responsible by owning the blame must surrender from the responsible positions they are holding now.

  

It is not a joke to handle the current situation.  Those who are handling this situation  they must not act ignorant, those who got better knowledge and better education to handle this problem alone should be entrusted to take decisions on this.  In India our system is very defective. The Minister who is holding the portolio of Health Ministry does not know anything of medical science and yet still he becomes Health Minister.  Our system is so defective that even if you don’t know the ABC of the particular portfolio, still you can be appointed the minister of that particular portfolio.  When this is the Case, how we can acquire efficiency and perfection?  The Minister who does not have the professional knowledge and proper qualification to hold the particular portfolio he will finally make a mess of his ministry by acting like a Ladru and Pedru.  Most of our responsible people are of this category only and for this reason  we are as common men suffering. 

Our elders told us how a century back the whole of Goa was protected by the Portuguese government of Goa without even giving an inch of space for the infiltrators to enter Goa from the neighbouring areas because of the Spanish Flu which was called by those illiterate Goans as “Spanis Filu”.
