"GOAN FOOD PRODUCT ON SALE IN KUWAIT"

--Costaz "BEBINCA" The Goan especiality--
Goans are creating dent in many fields except business in Kuwait. Earlier, D'Souza Brothers, Avertano Furtado, Monteiro were big businessmen in Kuwait. But currently I dont see Goans doing business in Kuwait though they involve deeply in many other activities. Many Mangaloreans especially Konkani Mangaloreans are are doing extremely well in business in Kuwait but not our Konkani Goans.

Recently I came accross one young Goan entrepeneur who has shown lot of encourgagement in this filed. Though small in magnitude yet he has already taken a bold step in marketing in Kuwait the most popular sweet from Goa known as "BEBINCA". He made it avallble this Goan tasty product at City Centre outlets in Salmiya and Shuwaikh.

One can also get it directly from the young entrepreneur by contacting him on his email francisco.mendes@lawrencemorgan.com .

On behalf of goa.kranti and on behalf of myself, I welcome Bebinca to Kuwait and request all Goans to support this young entrepreneur in his endeavours in promoting Goan food products in Kuwait.

Speaking to me, the young entrepreneur disclosed to me his future plans of introducing more and more food products from Goa, if Bebinca sells well thru the support of Goans.

Let us all support this proposal to promote Goa thru Goan food.

A. Veronica Fernandes,
Kuwait.

RE: AMKAM ZAI FOKOT NACHONK.

"AMKAM ZAI FOKOT NACHONK.":

Dear Veronica,

Yes you are right as far as the motives of dancing attitudes and happening right under the nose of parents when they accompanying them to shows and other public shows. And to correct this phrase education does start at home rather than in schools !!!! Or " pirmeira obrigaccao depois devoccao".

This should be taken as an eye opener to all the underage boys and girls too, when they should not think like a free as a bird - that too has a home to live in with morals and ethics more so.

So let us take whatever we can absorb from this erroneous attitude we might be presenting which others see and distracts, and hope to come on right track of behaviour to respect parents as our guardians all the times. Good luck boys and girls let us at least behave whenever out in public and forget about keymorals scene!!!! in private.
