CANDOLIM TO REJECT PDA.

In Candolim, the like minded locals under the convenorship of Roshan Mathias got together and formed an organisaton called “CANDOLIM AGAINST PDA” to awaken the locals what are the ill effects of PDA and ODP.  The organization consists of Adolfina Thamm as President, two Vice Presidents namely Tukaram Naik and Agnelo Barreto, Secretary: Ms Regina,  Jt. Sec: Lucy Mathias; Treasurer: William Noronha, Jt. Treas: Anthony D’Souza. This is the core committee to run the affairs of this organization and to educate the locals the disastrous effect of PDA and ODP even though those politicians who stand to make millions if PDA and ODP is approved, with their mellifluent tongues will give a rosy picture of PDA and ODP.  People should not listen to these cheap politicians. If we do not reject their plans then they will in collaboration with the builders and non-Goan millionaires convert our fields and other areas into Concrete Jungles with tall buildings, demolish our houses to build new roads which will be very broad.  They will create a situation to uproot “NIZACHE GOYKARS” FROM their ancestral places and bring in there all the Ghanttis and turn “amchem bhangarachem Goem” into Ghanttianchem Goem”.

Today a memorandum has been submitted to the Town and Country Planning Minister by this association as shown here. Besides, an Awareness Programme is scheduled on 9^th  as indicated here. All those who want to protect the greatness and beauty of Goa, they must attend this programme.

CANDOICARS MARCH TO CALANGUTE POLICE STATION FOR JUSTICE.

Today, Monday, 2^nd of April 2018, the supporters for justice for Roshan and Perpetuo who were falsely blamed as the molesters of one lady Panch of Candolim, went to the Calangute Police Station at 10.30 AM to brief the Police Inspector Jivba Dalwi that the complain filed by the lady Panch was not true and it was nothing but lies. Hence, she should be arrested for dishing out fabricated reasons thereby spoiling the fair image of Roshan and Perpetuo.  The people who gathered there in support of the falsely implicated duo were about one hundred majority from Candolim, the remaining were from Calangute and other parts of the Calangute constituency.

About 10 persons namely Ex-MLA Agnelo Fernandes, Joseph Sequeira from Calangute, Sudeep Dalwi, Roshan, Perpetuo, A. Veronica fernandes, Damiao, Roshan’s Mother, Ms Regina, etc were warmly welcomed by the PI Dalwi who was a thorough gentleman and he gave keen hearing to those who spoke there.  The persons who spoke there were Agnelo, Joseph, Dalwi, Damiao, Roshan and his mother.  They all accused the complainant lady Panch for creating something that never has happened.  Moreover, the complain she gave was after three days which was something rubbish.

In his speech, Roshan said how he and his partner when they went for the official work – Site Inspection – as called by the Panchayat, they were outnumbered by the very many people gathered there to support the lady Panch.  During the short time both were there for the site inspection for the illegal construction built with the silent nod OF THE Panchayat, Roshan as he told the PI  Dalwi, was accused falsely, abused verbally and even assaulted by the son of the lady Panch who said she was molested.

After giving the keen hearing to all who spoke there, the PI assured everyone that he will not fail in giving the proper justice to all who were wrongly accused.

Then, after coming out of the PI’s Office, they all joined the others who were anxiously waiting for them outside the Police Station to brief them on the outcome of the meeting with PI Dalwi.

When everybody was briefed of the discussion they had inside PI Office, all were very happy including Valmiki of AM Admi who later on joined there to show his solidarity with those two persons who were falsely accused as molester.

It is now to be watched what the local Pe. Vigar and Pe. Cur are going to do for the lady Panch who is the regular Church goer and recipient of holy Communion.  The priests can surely play a very good role by discussing with the lady Panch why she did like this when her religion does not allow her to tell lies. In fact the priests in the name of God can play a major role to get proper justice to the persons involved in this case.  In view of this, let us see what our Pe. Vigar going to do just as earlier Pe. Nicholau Noronha was doing by bringing both the parties together in his office.

Meantime, the PDA  and ODP are useless for the Goans,  it is boufet only for those who are promoting it.  If approved, it will destroy our fields, demolish our houses and destroy the beauty of Goa. If approved it will make the initiators as billionaires when they are already millionaires by looting here and there.  It will not help the common men to increase his packet.  Those who get financial benefit out of this will indulge in rampant extra marital sex to produce illegitimate children which is against the Christian doctrine. LET EVERYONE SAY: WE DO NOT WANT PDA – WE DO NOT WANT ODP.

POLITICS OF MOLESTATION IN CANDOLIM.

It is now over a week that this news has been buzzing all over Candolim and other parts in  Calangute constituency.  As per the information I gathered, a lady panch member of Candolim Panchayat complained to the Calangute Police station saying that she was molested by two persons from Candolim.   Earlier the same lady similarly complained to the Calangute Police Station saying that she was molested by another man from Candolim only.   It looks ridiculous to know that these cases are happening to the same lady twice. As for me I find it difficult to believe this news because I know both these men including the first one too thoroughly well and as such they will never commit such a scandalous act. I can easily vouch for their integrity that they will never do this act.

Incidentally, all the three accused men are prominent public figures and well known  activists in Candolim.  There is a move in my  constituency to liquidate those who oppose ODP while all the three activists are the strong opponents of PDA and ODP which according to them will do more harm than good.  It is rubbish to accept the statement that “if the ODP plan is approved there will be lot of  development in the Calangute constituency”.  But this development will come at what cost?   At the cost of our houses, fields and other properties which will go into the hands of builders who by being in close association with the big man of the constituency will definitely destroy the natural beauty of Calangute constituency and also the livelihood of the locals.

To molest any lady is not that simple especially when there are so many people around the lady. By filing false cases it looks this lady is trying to finish the activists from Candolim and get her and her mentor benefits thru builders who will not only molest but rape our land which is so important for us.  I strongly feel that she must be sent to the psychiatrist for measuring her mental capacity. Otherwise, she will again come up with more such cases against the innocent locals.

We are in the Lent season and as said in the Bible “we must not give the false testimony against anybody”.  I feel now the Church leaders of Candolim Church must interfere in this matter and question that lady why she does this type of anti-Christian acts of filing false cases. The local Pe.Vigar as the fatherly figure and being the head of Catholicism in Candolim, should use his prerogative to put an end to this type of cheap politics to quench the thirst of revenge by the elected representatives. Many of the  ills of our society will get eradicated only if our Church is active in correcting the wrong doers. The statement of the Church leaders namely Pe. Viars and Pe.Curs saying "MAKAM KITEAK PODDLAM" will not help us in anyway.  It should be like this "hem makam poddlam" and since this is the case I must interfere in this matter since both the parties are Catholics.
