IS OUR PREMIER A LIAR? CAN WE THRUST HIM?

According to the information, our country’s premier is likely to visit Goa very shortly for electioneering whence once again he will fool the Goans by telling nothing but unwanted lies in which he gained expertise.  I am sorry if I am a bit hard but I don’t expect lies from our premier whom we revere so much because by virtue of being a premier, this reverence and respect automatically goes to him. Any Prime minister may be a donkey as we have so many in the world but once he occupies his top chair his respect and impression changes to 360 degrees to a positive side. Everybody expects him to be upright as per the status of his high post.   His one word we must consider as gospel truth and it should be treated as “if comrade Napolean said yes, it must be yes” without having any doubt. This should be the credibility of our premier which is based on “Ceasar’s wife should not only be not suspected but  she should be above suspicion”.  But is our premier deserve this credit as far as his last Poll time promises are concerned?  Surely not. Because of this negative answer, it is a shame for us to have such a Prime minister of such a mighty and lengthy country which we call as “Mera Desh Mahan!!”

He promised us last time during his election speech this, “if you elect our party and both the Lokhsabah candidates we will give you Special Status”.  Is this promise fulfilled? No, with the excuse that it is not possible.  If it was so, then why the hell did he promise us in the first place? Was he drunk on that particular day when he gave us this promise?  If yes, how can we trust the credibility and security of our ancestral country Bahrat into the hands of this unreliable Prime Minister?  Does this discipline suit the level of a premier? This type of cheap talk and hollow promises do not suit him but they suit only to those who are brought up like urchins without proper family base and tradition and not to the developed and civilized people like us, Goans.  We are a great people with great past, great tradition, grear culture, great discipline, great behaviour, great moral and spiritual history and great development under the 451 years of pure Roman Catholic Church discipline inducted into Goa by the perfect Portuguese Roman Catholicism.  This is the longest domination by any foreign power on any area in India because of which it created a totally different moral discipline not only among the Goan Catholics but also among the majority of Hindus and Muslims.

I have seen in outside Goa and outside India, how the discipline and behavior of Hindus and Muslims are different from our Hindus and Muslims. Our Hindus and Muslims are more refined, docile, more cool temparementally, less agressive, morally much higher than their counterparts in outside Goa.  Our Hindus and Muslims are more metropolitan and less narrow minded, they are more God fearing and respecting their superiors more than others elsewhere.  In one word our Hindus and Muslims are the jewels of our land Goa purely because of the very good influence they had on them from the Portuguese rule in Goa for 451 years. Because of this peaceful atmosphere there are no communal riots in Goa, there is more communal harmony and love among all the three communities in Goa.

Sometime back I was hospitalized in GMC for over a week where I came in contact with one decent and intellectually advanced Hindu who was after his operation recuperating for a few more days. When I questioned him the reason for taking treatment F.O.C. in our Hospital, replied he within split of a second saying, “ It is not because of F.O.C. facility but mainly because of the very good, very decent and humanely treatment we get in Goa. Here in Goa, your Goan Nurses and Doctors are decent and God fearing and thus they treat the patients decently with a humane touch”. When I asked him such a treatment is not there in Maharastra”, replied he “definitely no because India other than Goa was under the domination of only about 200 years and that too minus Catholicism”.  Then he went further “Goa is the only part of India which is blessed more by God with the decent and civilised Western Power of Portugal and its Catholicism. The 451 years of influence of Portugal and Catholicism has made Goa a decent and peaceful place. And its influence even spread all over the Konkan region.

Second promise was to bring back all the black money looted from India by millionaire looters and to distribute it with Indians in India. This promise was also not fulfilled.  Can a person of the stature of premier stoop so low to lie his own people and lose their respect?

He also promised to put an end to the mining crisis but it is now become worse.  Mining problem was imposed by BJP under Parricar when he in the opposition did all the groundwork to punish the innocent people earning their livelihood. “To melo ani ghelo pun bhogtat babddo lokh hea dondeacher ravon aplo dispotto soddoitalo to”. Amcho Bahu ani amchi Tai-I ani amcho Bahi mhonntalet tech amkam vissorlet. Eklo ghelo sassnachi nid nidon Mining hachem padd ghalun ani toxench Mandovi nodhin Casino bhorun zaka lagon Goyencher ek xirap poddtolo zaka lagon Goykarani khup sonschem podtolem.   Now at least learn a lesson and vote properly based on proper justice and not on communal affiliation. The North Goans are inclining towards communal lines that they must stop now and vote for a secular party. Do not allow BJP anymore chance to destroy Goa and finish it completely.  In fact North Goa people are more responsible to vote for those who are anti-Goa, these are the same and shameless people who are crying now saying "amchem Goem atam  bhaileani velem".  Atam roddtat konank, were you not the same people including your elders who were giving on silver platter our Goa to Maharastra during the Opinion Poll? Good that we the Catholics remained firm by doing extremely high sacrifices to save from the jaw of Maharastra?  The supporters of merger of Goa with Maharastra during the Opinion Poll wanted to merge Goa with Maharastra to teach Goan Christian a lesson but in the bargain they only were taught a lesson to such an extent that many of them lost their business as it was taken over by the "bhaile" and some of them even lost their daily bread.  That they lost their daily bread does not make Christians happy on the contrary Christians are supporting them to regain their daily bread.  One thing my brothers and sisters, especially the opponents of Christians ,please note that Christians  will never get lost anywhere in the World, they may not get temporary luxuries of this world but definitely they will permanently get their  daily bread because by virtue of being Christians they always pray to God day and night to provide them their DAILY BREAD" in the extremely high prayer that was taught to them by Jesus Christ Himself in 'OUR FATHER, WHO ART IN HEAVEN ……".

TIME TO SUPPORT & PATRONISE GOANS.

The very moment when I saw early in the morning at about 5.30,  the unwanted and uninvited Indian Millitary convoy consisting of about 100 military vehicles passing by our side in Candolim, on the main Road going to Aguada, on the 18th of December 1961, I realized the end of Goa is coming closer.  It was a very terrible shock for me to see the arrival of Indian Millitary Troops well-fortified with Military equipment to throw out the Portuguese rulers from Goa thereby kicking the Principle of Non-Violence India was boasting of as it is their baby and at the same time harping all around the globe on Non-violence. That Nehru was such a traitor worse than the Judas was exposed when under his leadership India discarded the principle of Non-violence and made use of the doctrine of Violence just as Hitler did to invade country after country, and invaded Goa. Throwing out Portuguese either today or tomorrow was ok because they had to go from Goa either peacefully or thru Military force since Goa does not belong to them.  Neither Goa belonged to India, Goa belonged to Goans whose ancestry is deep rooted in Goa.  Goa does not belong to some “ghantee” type of people from the neighbouring areas settled down in Goa and who were fighting thru all means  to merge Goa with Maharastra because their ancestry was deeply rooted in Maharastra. These are bloody “Rostad Bhaile” who came to Goa not only in the pre-Portuguese era but also in the post Portuguese era.

Since Goa belonged to the genuine Goans it should remain as independent nation into the hands of Goans if not then at least as an autonomous entity enjoying greater freedom as Macao or Pondicheri and not more or less like slaves, as we are now. By grabbing and swallowing Goa, Bharat serkar of Nehru totally cheated us. I, then only realized what was the policy of Central government, that is to liquidate the existence of Goa geographically so that the issue of forcibly invading of Goa will disappear from the minds of some people and some nations who still accuse India of committing a big mistake by forcibly annexing Goa.

In order to liquidate the existence of Goa, the Opinion Poll was held and it was expected at that time that mergerites will win the Opinion Poll in their favour and thus Goa will be merged with Maharastra as a District.  And Maharastra having full control over Goa they might have even deleted the name of Goa and name it as the District of Shambazi or Vasudevji. But to their utter surprise and also due to the exceptionally dynamic work and high level of sacrifices done by the genuine Goans, we Goans won the victory in that most memorable Opinion Poll where overwhelming majority say 99% of Christians + 25% of upper level Hindus voting gainst merger.

But still our enemies from Delhi are not satisfied, they want to squeeze us more and more by converting us Goans in our own Goa as non entities by changing the demographic  structure of Goa by allowing more and more non-Goans especially the third grade ones from Karnataka, Maharastra, Bihar, Andra etc. These unwanted many of them are disgraceful, robbers, rowdies, criminals and dirty vice infected non-Goan are increasing and multiplying in  Goa.  They come to Goa with the bare minimum professional experience to do the necessary job as Elelctricians, Plumbers, Tailors, Carpenters and such other manual jobs which fetch them 600 to 1000 rupees a day as remuneration.

If we allow this further then we as Goans we will be finished from our Goa.  In order not to see this happening, first of all we must introduce our children who are not interested in  going for higher professional education, to the Crash Courses  in all the trades and let our children then start their own business in their respective trades. In this way, instead of patronizing outsiders and allowing them to bring their people more and more, we should patronize our own Goans. If we go ahead with this suggestion, I think our young boys could make much more money than what they are doing currently in UK, Gulf and Tarvar.

Further to the above suggestion of mine, I have decided to  contact some of our retired men professional in their trade in the Gulf, Bombay and elsewhere to impress upon them to start their own small Workshops in their own houses in one of their rooms and provide their services in a trade where they have thorough knowledge.  In my village I already found one patriotic Goan retired from the Gulf and in Goa he already embarked on providing services such as repairing and installing of Airconditioners and other related services. Besides, he provides many other services as indicated in his Visiting Card shown above. On my own of initiative and with his permission I am doing his propaganda thru this forum to inform our Goans to patronize his business.  I will also do the same if I find any other suitable forum elsewhere. It is not the question of what and how much I will get by doing this propaganda but it is the question whether our Goanness will get aroused and Goykar as a whole will gain. This is only my reward. Now summer season  is approaching and many Goans have equipped their houses with Aircondioners.  If Goans are real Goans, If Goans are true sons and daughters of true Goans then they will support this message of mine by  supporting the Goan businessmen. The name of this Goan is Simon who is a regular Church goer and residing in the Pintos Vaddo, Candolim, having his own workshop there with a few workers.

DUMPING ON ELECTORATE THE "KALCHE POIRCHE POTTE" CANDIDATES.

Bill Clinton of USA along with his vice Presidential candidate was contesting the election against the then President George Bush Sr. who was fresh from the victory in the Gulf war for the liberation of Kuwait. Clinton was the first Scholar President of US and less knowledgeable in the intricacies of the modern war while Bush was an Air Force Pilot besides expert in the foreign affairs. While campaigning for his re-election, Bush by ignoring certain decorum stooped so low that he even forgot the civilized manners and discipline normally associated in American electioneering and started using indecent words against his opponent. During one particular election speech he said referring to his Dog: “My Dog Milley got better knowledge of foreign affairs than both these bloody Bhozos”.

Though Clinton and his colleague were inexperienced but it was not right on the part of Bush to humiliate them thus though what he said was right because American administration cannot be entrusted into the hands of raw people. Why American only, even our Goan political administration we cannot entrust into the hands of raw kids in the Legislatures, some of whom on the strength of the surnames and care-of of their dead fathers are demanding election tickets for them while others are pushed forward by their coterie to get better benefits for them.

Without experiencing their  grassroots level service for their parties and for the benefit of the society, how can we judge the potential of these raw candidates? Some of these “Kalche Porche Potte” who don’t know the real “abc” of State political administration they will not do anything good for the society. For such immature kids people must be careful because power in their hands they will surely misuse it to any extent. People must avoid giving power into their hands otherwise they will or at least most of them acting like “Lapitt” commit the acts of “Narvenkakrism” because their expertise in this field is the best.

I cannot understand what these kids and widows think of themselves the moment their fathers die and wives of those late husbands? They should not think we are a Monarchy or Sheikhdom, we have our separate system where every candidate must indicate his ability before going to the voters for the voters to get convinced that their candidates are capable to shoulder their responsibilities once they are elected. Winability thru public sympathy because of the dead fathers and husbands should not be the criteria otherwise our Legislature will be filled with these stupid unfit Legislators. In this way, will we build our nation and Goa?
